  No, it is certainly not possible.

  Laptop technology is different from the desktop computer and parts are not expandable.
  The GPU (graphics chip) is set on the tray and the replacement or upgrade is not possible, unfortunately.

Before that, I lost online due to a faulty firewall communication. I've been having fun in recovery / repair mode for days. • L50 - A - nVidia GeForce satellite does not properly

  I got an interesting question with my graphics card dedicated (Nvidia Geforce GT m 740) for the last few months.

  The internal graphics card will work fine, then after playing a game or watching movies for a few hours (the things that use the dedicated graphics card on the intel integrated), the game will crash and I will get a pilot error in the taskbar.

  Sometimes, it is followed by a BSOD. After this point, the card seems to disappear, it cannot be used, detected by any software, including software and Nvidia GPU - z and becomes hidden in Device Manager.

  Once he did, it's completely random as to when it reappears, could be hours, days.
  What usually happens is after hibernation, when I turn on the laptop, rather than restore the laptop will be start as if to be closed, then I check and the GPU is back.

  I installed an older driver and ran a full scan of the system. He finds a Trojan horse and I deleted it.

• Photoshop CS5 off OpenGL NVIDIA GeForce 320 M

  Is the graphics card 256 MB not enough to use OpenGL in CS5?

  I use a mid-2010 MacBook Pro 13 inches with OS X 10.10.5. Graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce 320 M with 256 MB.

  I really want to use the rotation tool, but when I try I get the following window:

  Could not complete your request because it only works with the active OpenGL document windows.

  In Preferences > Performance, GPU settings do not show any detected video card, and 'Enable OpenGL drawing' is greyed out... hovering over it with the mouse bring it "hardware graphic acceleration unavailable... updage or card... driver needed etc. I ran an update this morning, so presumably the driver NVIDIA is up-to-date, and that the card is soldered to the logic board, I suppose that I can not update the graphics card.

  I tried all (I think?) the troubleshooting steps: removal of the preferences, opening in 32 - bit file, etc. I have not tried to reinstall Photoshop yet.

  Any help here? For what it's worth, when I had the creative cloud subscription (I cancelled because of $$ and went back to use my CS5) I also received a message that 3D was not available because of my graphics card, but I understand because 3D requires more than 256 MB... but now I just want to use OpenGL in CS5.

• Drivers XP for Nvidia GeForce 7150M

  First, HP must provide more drivers for Windows XP.  You must face the fact that the failure of Vista and everyone is switch it on XP.  Any computer expert will tell you that Vista is a piece of * beep * which should never have been released.

  I own a HP Pavilion dv6910us and I recently installed Windows XP.  Once installation is finished, I spent about 6 hours searching the Web for HP drivers provides simply because they are too stubborn to realize that vista * beep * ing sucks.  I refuse to go back to Vista, so I need these drivers.  Assuming that it's my graphics card since what is listed in the information page produces, I need drivers for the card of Nvidia GeForce 7150 M for Windows XP.

  Bill supposed to first Pro CC (not CS6) response. Windows of Premiere Pro CS6 version does not support OpenCL for accelerating GPU of MPE. Therefore, there is no "opencl_supported_cards.txt" file in the folder of Premiere Pro, and the code to OpenCL is disabled permanently in all versions of Windows from Premiere Pro CS6. So, for your over-pants M6100 Premiere Pro CS6 will be permanently locked to only software MPE mode. (Acceleration GPU of MSES in the Windows of Premiere Pro CS6 version is limited to the CUDA only, which means that only NVIDIA for GPU - no AMD over-pants or GPU Radeon support CUDA at all.)

  I just bought a new computer from AMD PHenom II quad core Dell Inspiron with Windows 7 installed. For the graphics card, an ATI RAdeon 4200 on it there but I wanted a more powerful card and installed a NVIDIA GeForce GT 240 graphics card. The ATI Radeon is not delete because honestly, I could not recognize what it should look like and thought that maybe it was incorporated. The fine installed NVIDIA card and now shows as the graphics card used by the computer Information System.

  My problem is that whenever I start my computer, I get an error message saying that the drivers for the ATI card are not compatible with the Catalyst Control Center. I think I need to disable the ATI card, but don't know how. Can you help me?

  Dell Inspiron 570 is a desktop computer, the ATI Radeon 4200 is an integrated graphics card chipset usually equipped with laptops. Something is not here.

  Go to dell support, enter your tag # and get the origonal system specifications.

  You can uninstall anything about ATI through Add/Remove dialog

  My computer has an AMD Radeon HD 7540 D that gives me a lot of trouble when editing in Adobe first Pro CC.  I have 32 GB memory installed on this computer.  Can I upgrade to a graphics card that uses the Open GL or Cuda?  Like this one:

  Momthetechie, welcome to the forum.

  If your motherboard has UEFI , you should be able to use the video card.  However, you might have to upgrade the power supply (PSU), also.  The current PSU is only 300W.  Most newer video cards require at least 400W to work properly.

  Is that SATELLITE P100-342 was equipped with a NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 (name of code G73M) PCI Express x 16 (GDDR2 dedicated 256 GB RAM) graphics card.

  The part on ebay supports 128 MB only and that's why I think that the two parties are not the same.

  Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!  I understand that you are having problems with an update of the graphics card.  I'm happy to give you a helping hand with this.

  Looking at the map you want to use: GeForce GT 710 specifications, it shows the following: Minimum System Power requirement (W) 300. This means you want to preferably a power supply in your computer that exceeds this amount, just to be sure.
