Killed my PE 2650 DRAC and ESM firmware update

Hoping someone has a solution to this, other than buying a new motherboard:

-ITA indicated that the DRAC firmware was worm 3.30

-ITA used to remotely install the worm 3.38

-Installation "has not completed; You must restart your system and try again. :

-To restart, a quick screen appears before the Dell splash screen, saying:

!! Error: Failed to initialize Remote Access Controller *.

-After the splash screen, this error appears:

"Embedded Server Management error"

-After spin-up discs, I get "Press F1 to continue or F2 for Setup" (F1 will allow the OS to load correctly)

-Do you have re-flashed the system BIOS (it was already-A21)

-Tried to re flash ESM, but I got "the BMC is not available.

-Tried several racadm commands.  Each failed with RC-1 ERROR

OMSA - does not show the existence of my DRAC more

Any ideas?  Thanks in advance.

    Hello

We bought a new PS6100 table and it is running v5.2.2.  We would like to update all tables (2 v5.2.5 and 1 v5.2.2) v6.0.1 this afternoon.  The new RAID array is always check the 26% (running for about 18 hours).  It would be nice if I have updated the firmware, while the RAID is checked?

    Thank you.

Yes you can improve to 6.0.1 before the build completed.   Is the new Member in his own pool?   Or have you selected the ability to delay before the end of the construction?    If so, it's better, because no data not will have been migrated to it yet.

  • UC320W and SPA525G2 - Firmware update

    Well Hello informed those:

I have a combo of UC320W (one), management (2) SPA525G2s. From time to time I'll lose the configurations on the SPA525G2s (thanks for backups). The SPA525G2 has a version of firmware (7.5.2), I believe that the new version of the firmware is (7.5.6), the last time I spoke with the CISCO support, sent me a patch that fixed something to do with the impedance of the SPA525G2 and I hope the 7.5.6 has this patch and the patch for the periodic resets.

As my warranty is long gone, can someone please help me? I like the CISCO product and don't want to leave these for competing products.

    Thank you very much.

  • EFI and SMC firmware MBP 8.1 do not match list Apple

    Hi all

    I have a MacBook Pro 13 ", beginning 2011, 8.1.

I changed the hard drive with a Samsung SSD 850 EVO and installed the OSX El Capitan 10.11.4 Version (15E65) with a clean install (format, then install).

After that, I noticed that my fans are working more than usual. So I checked the SMC and EFI.

When I check the presentation of the material, here's what I find:

    Model identifier: MacBookPro8, 1

    Boot ROM version: MBP81.0047.B2C

Version of the SCM (System): 1.68f99

But it seems my SMC and EFI firmware do not match Apple list/recommendation:

    MacBook Pro (13 inch, early 2011) MacBookPro8, 1 MBP81.0047.B2A (2015-001) 1.69f4 (SMC 1.7)

    I found this information here:

On the updates of the EFI and SMC firmware for Mac computers with processor Intel - Apple Support

I am trying to update, but I received the following message: "this software is not supported on your system."

Someone at - it already had the same issue on the fans or mismatch SMC/EFI?

  • Satellite L300-1AQ - password utility and the Firmware installation problem

    Hello

I recently reinstalled Vista after the first crash, then installation of linux.
Now I installed most of the services Toshiba back packages on my laptop Sat L300-1AQ but firmware and password utilities are not installing back.

Watch firmware available target error message is not available.
Utility password displays the serial number is not correct.
do not understand why these error messages come and how I can deal with that.

    Thank you

    Hello

Firmware update should only be done if you notice problems with the ODD (CD/DVD drive)
In addition the laptop was equipped with various drives and firmware on the Toshiba page seems to be designed only for some some sides.
So if the laptop uses other ODD then the update of the firmware would not be supported.
See more information on the driver page for some details on the update firmware and what are the chances are supported!

I m not very well why the t supervisor password utility could not be installed, but I think that the message: bad series appears that if you tried to install a tool that was not designed for this model of laptop or the operating system.

The L300-1AQ seems to belong to the series PSLB8E and you must ensure that you have chosen the right model on the driver page.

PS: don't forget that the VAP has been installed everything first!

  • DVRW firmware update killed

I have acquired a used model m7790y Pavilion Media PC with some problems.

The original owner had not created the recovery disks. I was initially unable to succeed in their creation, so I ran to the recovery of the recovery partition, using the start option. That's happened. I could eventually create the recovery (on 2 discs DVD + R) media. If the drive worked there at that time.

After that, I have treated all updates Vista SP1 til. Then, I have treated several updates HP found in the x 32 area of Vista software and driver download for the system, including an updated firmware for the optical drive from TSST. Then, I treated all other Vista updates thru SP2 and beyond. I thought that everything was fine but then I tried to open the optical drive and it did not. Then I noticed that a light shone from the reader. Windows does not currently show a DVD player device, but because of BIOS. It shows in the BIOS as the 3rd drive: TSSTcorpCD/DVD. The update of the firmware, I treated is sp35094.exe and has been marked as TSST TS-H653L DVD-R/RW Drive Firmware Update Version 0714.

I have redownloaded update and tried to re - run. It fails, saying that the system does not have the minimum requirements for the update. As the drive is not listed in the Device Manager, maybe it's to be expected. I don't think that it produced an error the first time. Both times I ran from within Windows Explorer.

Is it possible to fix this drive or is it now a brick?

The device is seven years old. It's a brick.

Replace the DVD burner with a new DVD of SATA burner. They are pretty cheap these days and about $20.00.

  • 900 Elitepad F.50 (SP68375) G1 firmware update and defect TPM, Bitlocker problem

I recently installed the firmware recommended for ElitePad 900 G1 (sp68375.exe) running Windows 8.1 update 1

System BIOS Update F.50 for HP ElitePad 900 G1 Tablet (c04409743)

In order to install the update I had to suspend bitlocker drive encryption, which is a mandatory requirement in my workplace.

After properly installing the update of the firmware and trying to catch the bitlocker encryption, Windows reports the following error:

    "BitLocker Drive Encryption error."

    Wizard initialization has failed.

The BIOS does not correctly contacted the

Trusted Platform Module (TPM). Contact the

the computer manufacturer for BIOS upgrade instructions"

I tried to re-download and reinstall the firmware update, but ended up with the same error after successfully update a second time.

Someone else (or HP) applied this update firmware and can fix any counselor or a workaround to get BitLocker up and run again? My ElitePad is now reported as non-compliant system due to the suspension of BitLocker.

    Thank you.

Please try latest BIOS on HP.com (F.52) for the Elitepad 900.  If it solves your problem, please check the issue as resolved.

  • OverDrive Media Console - firmware update Fuze and can no longer download audio books

My experience is that you can not set the clock manually.  While in line, plug the "rocket" and something of its meaning (any file random non - DRM) transfer using the * Windows Media Player *.  This seems to set the internal clock (but you must be * online * while do you - it updates the clock of the internet).

I noticed the "rocket" is particularly sensitive to obtaining of the clock of discount for a reason any (for some reason my Clip has not been nearly as often, the clock reset the "rocket" has).  I have no "always - on" internet and I noticed pretty much everytime I open WMP with attached rocket & no internet connection, it resets the clock of the rocket, causing Overdrive "unit clock not set" message.  This is a big concern for me to get the clock reset (to find an internet connection).  What I think is happening: when you open WMP it seems looking for all connected devices, and set their internal clock at the time of the internet - and you're out of luck if you don't currently have an active internet connection (I think this is a bug in WMP, but I have not confirmed).  To make sure that I do not open with any attached Sansas WMP.  Never.  (Or more).  And the internal clock to my Fuze slept together for going on 6 months now. (It was previously reset every week or two.)

My second thought (actually, probably the original problem) - firmware update resets a bunch of stuff to the default values.  The rocket USB mode was probably return the default (Auto-detect, not-so-affectionately nicknamed 'auto-defaut').  Go to settings | USB mode and set it back to the PSG so OverDrive can use it and then try again.

    Good luck.

  • Firmware update and the playback Volume

    Help!

I just did an update of the firmware on my Sansa Fuze and I can't hear it more!

Does anyone know how 'Cancel' the update of the firmware, please?

  • Sansa Clip freezes at startup and on the firmware update

After unplugging my video to my computer, it is hung on the screen "Connected".

I forced a reset by pressing the power switch it 10 seconds

He then restarted and hung on the Sansa screen

I followed the instructions given in these forums in order to download the update of the firmware, mount the Clip in MSC mode and install the firmware.  Unplug the Clip, it hangs at "Update Firmware in progress" screen.

I then re-mounted the Clip in MSC mode and deleted all the files of music and the update of the firmware.  After disconnection, he hooked again on the Sansa screen.  I then mounted in MSC mode and re-installed the update of the firmware.  He is now suspended again at the screen to update the firmware.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

The following procedure restored the Clip, but requires access to a Windows operating system:

    1. Tower Mounting Clip in MSC mode off camera (now switch is in position 10 sec If necessary 'on'). Set the switch to position 'Hold '. While pressing the "Select" Center, plug it into the USB port on a Windows computer. Wait for Windows to recognize the device before you release the "Select" button

    2. format of the Clip Double click on 'My Computer' to open a window of the Explorer. You should now see the video listed as a reader. Right click on the video player icon and select "Format". Select "FAT32". Do not check the box "quick format". Format the drive.

    3. Finish you can now disconnect the Clip of the computer and it should behave as a Clip of the new out-of-the-box. If you wish, you can download Sansa Updater software from the web site of Sansa (Sansa > support > Clip > downloadsansa Firmware Updater) and run it to install the latest version of the firmware on your device.

Also be sure to download the correct .zip file (the one labeled A if you are in America) and unzip or extract to somewhere easy to find (like your desktop).

You are right!!!  If it is not broke, don't fix it! But to be honest, I did not play any Blue Ray DVD on my computer, so if a problem exists with the current firmware of the device I need to do? or just curiosity, I'm sorry I lose you, update/upgrade uses the drivers to recommend running the operating system preinstalled in this case Windows Vista?

If problems exist, then try to upgrade with the appropriate firmware listed in the driver version Vista.

Some of the improvements will work and others cannot.  It is unfortunate but it is like that between Vista and Windows 7.

But... If everything works well, change the drivers and/or firmware and invite trouble.

  • S2110 new firmware updated for Tablet and keyboard

We finally got a first major update (about 160 MB) and the Tablet seems more vivid. However, no one knows exactly what has been updated?

    The mentioned update:
    (1) update Google GMS
    (2) remove Lenovo Appstore
    (3) cannot remember what it was

The keyboard firmware update had no details on what has been updated

Also, the questions that we have been always complain have not been set:
    (1) the words not being in the dictionary and still having red lines under can't use spell check
    (2) Tablet battery drain when connected keyboard because he won't sleep

Continues to conduct tests to determine if the problem to delve into the keyboard and it does not work is now completely resolved.

However, someone has more information on this update?

The update of the firmware seemed to solve the problem of the dock being not recognized periodically. So that's very good!
Also, no new WiFi issues for me.
The bummer is that this update does not resolve the question of dictionary/spelling. Every word I type in gmail is always highlighted as misspelled!

  • Add new Member and firmware update

    Hello

I have a group of 4 bays Equallogic

    1xPS4000 (Type: 70-0120) and

    3xPS6100 (Type: 70-0400)

    They all firmware v6.0.4

The new table is a PS6210XV. I'm sure that the firmware of it's newer probably with a release v7.x.

The documentation for the firmware update, it says that I have to upgrade all the tables on my group first, and then add the new group.

I was hoping to add the new table and move some of the volumes to that one, update a table that I emptied, add back to the pool, empty one another etc etc.

    Is this possible?

It is really not a good idea to do so.   In place upgrade is by far the best option.  If you have defined your timeout of 60 seconds and choose a period of quierter I/O, that there should be no problem.  Also, be ready for an upgrade means that be ablel to handle a failure of the controller in the case of a real problem of HW.

First, if.  You need TO upgrade the new Member and all members of 6.0.x to 7.0.9.   The new table will come with 7.0.x since it is the minimum version for this controller.  Upgrade to 7.0.9 as well.  Create a new pool for this member and do not set the RAID policy yet.  Do not enable the iSCSI 2nd course interface.

What disks you have in the existing tables?

    You run VMware ESXi?
