  I'm traveling to the Philippines and need a cheap laptop good (less than 800) for my travels.

I'll be frequently or at least when its an option transfer video to external hard drives to back up to the sending of the return. This way the images for my more great project waiting beside my desk when I return home.

  I recently bought a HP compaq presario notebook cq60 product #wa588ua #abamodel #cq60-615dx with Windos 7 home 64 bit version. I have not had any problems with him lately, I recently bought a battery 12 cells for him and came through the process of ttraining battery.   If this fails, try just the battery with power cable removed.

  Interactive graphical software, I think that you need a better graphics card in your system more than anything else. 8 GB memory minimum is recommended however. I don't know if your processor is large enough for these tasks too.

  I was in the middle of an update and I think the power cord of the computer has been deleted. When it restarted, the headlights light up, the fan turns on, but the screen remains blank.   After 3 years, my laptop has undergone with a graphics card problem.

  One day after the other day it did not work. It started with 3 beeps (more soft + stronger beeps louder +, there's a second pause between beeps) then it does nothing, just the screen remains white (or black). When I turn on the computer, power led, hdd led and logo by satellite are turned on, but later hdd led turns off.

  After the left and right look in the net, I fould it has a graphics card problem. Toshiba Germany and Belgium, I was instructed to contact www.dynafix.com for my laptop repair.

  That the warranty is over, all the fees I have to pay myself now. Its really unfair that, after more than 2500 for this laptop, it not lasted longer than other laptops cheaper (I mean it there are other laptops that are less than 1000 and they work perfectly, even after 5 years).

  In any case, I have to fix it now so I would like to know how much the card cost to replace? What do you think, is it better to fix it or just buy a new laptop? (probably not Toshiba again).

  I don t know where do you live and how much is mainboard (including the graphics card) in your country. Use google and check if you can find an online store and ask for prices.
  When I need new or already material used parts most of them I buy through eBay. Last week, I bought a graphics card for my old Satellite M70. I get it for 15 euros.

  I put t really know what to say. If you can get the motherboard for a good price, you can replace it and continue to use your laptop satellite. Otherwise, sell on eBay, and buy new laptops.

  I have an A105 Satellite and recently it started running very slowly. With most of my machines I would wipe and rebuild them (all my data is backed up) but I don't have a CD Windows XP Home (it didn't is come with the laptop such as Windows has been pre-loaded - I think that this is the norm?).

  Is there a way to create the CD of the laptop or can I apply for a Toshiba?
