laptop closed
While my laptop is plugged in, I get warning of low battery and then it stops. I check to make sure that it is plugged in and power source is good. What could be the problem?
Right click on the battery icon in the bar of tasks-> click on Power Options.

Computer laptop closed? Fan overheating?
Hi all.
I have read many topics on this forum about on any laptop fan not working not, laptop computer overheating or the laptop apparently randomly stopping.
I had this problem for about three months. I tried supporting the laptop so the fan (stupidly positioned in the middle of the base of the laptop!) could get air. He was not arrested, but it was ridiculous to have to raise my laptop everywhere wherever I was going, and fan was also ridiculously strong.
I took my laptop to a doctor and it turns out that there was a fault with the chip on the motherboard that controls the fan. It caused the fan not work properly, causing overheating and computer laptop closed.
I set myself and my laptop is now nice and quiet and I don't have to support it and it is not closed.
Sorry if this is bad news! Hope you can get your laptop fixed!

A few months my computer has been acting crazy. Lately, it is essential, it is closed right after it starts. Another thing, it tends to do is to enter a State of low power (not in standby or Hibernate), with all the lights and power always, by discoloration to a black screen. I tried every key sequence to bring my screen, but it never does, so I find myself manually shut down my computer in now the power button. Last night I shut down my computer and as I turned it on this morning I had the 'blue screen of death '. I have no virus and I'm starting to think that this has something to do with the inner workings of my computer (things that I have no idea about). I don't know if I need new drivers, need to clean my registry, I've already defragged my computer, or if I have a chance to save my laptop.
I also don't have any specs on my computer and don't know how to find them or the other. These problems that I said start to become a great inconvenience, but I have a bunch of stuff saved on my computer, so it is difficult for me to move on to the other laptop I have for my daily use. ANY help would be greatly appreciated, I'm desperate!
Hello
Could be heat related - try using a small fan to blow into the air intakes to see if that helps.
It is just like it loses power or stop it in the normal way?To be able to remove ALL and reinstall all the cables (both ends), card and memory - really remove
and replace - do not just tight. Remove the dust bunnies and clean the vents. Check that the
fans of work (before and after opening the case). If a laptop on what you can do is reinstall
memory and clean the ventilation openings (still may try to add a small fan as a test).===========================================================

Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after

How to record audio with my laptop closed?
When I want to record sounds in a room on media player, it will stop recording when I close my laptop?
What can I do so it records sound with closed laptop?I have to say that I want to record sounds in my house, it is imperative, so he needs to be a secret.Thank youIdeally, you would:
- change what happens when you close your (do NOTHING when you close)
- See this video: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Change-what-happens-when-you-close-your-laptop
- If you are able to make your model of laptop computer to do nothing, then it should allow you to run whatever program you have running when the cover is opened.
- For example, you can start recording, push windows key + L to lock the screen (assuming you have a Configuration password), then close the cover.
- It should behave as if you were recording with the lid open and just lock the screen.

I use my Toshiba Satellite 2435-S255 as a server connection to the Internet so I can access my music to any Spot Wi - Fi via my mobile device. I have a third part closed to the down/power-on demand in hibernation during the night and wake up in the morning. I don't want to work all night. I don't want to leave the lid open.
I had this operating system perfectly turning on and at the bottom, lid closed, without supervision... and then the computer's hard drive crashed. Successor and updated everything and now... this 'thing' WILL NOT turn on hibernation with the lid closed. I tried everything short of antics with the registry, which is what brings me here.
I put the functions of ACPI, so the cover '' not doing anything. ''
The only difference between the front and after the accident set ups is that, now, the machine is running XP sp 3 and before, it's only the sp 2 (I think).
Anyone?
Thank you!!

Hi I have a question about my laptop Toshiba Satellite. I've had it for almost 2 years and it worked fine up until just recently, my laptop stops itself and I thought before that this could be due to a heating problem but when it stops my laptop is not yet hot. I have installed new programs or anything again for that matter so I'm honestly confused? What's wrong with that? I also keep my laptop on a laptop computer fan to keep over heating.

However, try the following steps:

If you are unable to connect to Windows 7 or Windows Vista, you can use the Windows Vista System Restore feature, or the Windows 7 system restore feature.
You may be unable to connect to Windows Vista or Windows 7 in the following scenarios:
- Scenario 1: You recently set a new password for the protected administrator account. However, you don't remember the password.
- Scenario 2: You type the correct password. However, Windows Vista or Windows 7 does not accept the password because the system is damaged.

15 Pavilion: Pavilion laptop closed its doors but does not power off
When I stopped my phone everthing seems to close except that the power is not cut. This problem doesn't happen every time but appox 60%. I can turn off using the power switch, but it is a pain. Turns off the switch it starts normally afterwards. The probem can be caused by my upgrade to windows 10 I have not had any problems before.
Hello
Try disabling the startup of Windows 10 hybrid - you can do the following.
Open settings and select System. Select food and sleep, and then click additional power settings - in the next window, click on "Choose what the power button" in the left pane.
In the next window, click on "Change settings that are currently unavailable" (close), then Remove the check mark from the box against 'Turn on a quick start (recommended) '. Click on the button Save the settings, and then close all open windows and check if the laptop will now be shut down properly.

My laptop turns off, when I turned on it photoshop has recovered half of my unsaved files
The work was gone.
Some tips for the future (from bitter experience) regarding important issues:
1. the value of Time Machine cannot be overestimated.
2. save your work often and every time with a corrected file name: filename_1.psd, filename_2.psd, etc. In this way, if a file is saved and for some reason any is corrupt, you have at least one previous version available.

Why my laptop shut down without reason?
Hello
ladypam wrote:
Why my laptop shut down without reason?
Welcome to the forum.
How about you provide a few details?
(1) identify your laptop with the p/n located on the sticker on the bottom of your laptop
(2) indicate the operating system and version (32 or 64-bit)
(3) what you are doing when this happens?
(4) that start after the installation of additional software/hardware or a Windows Update?
Best regards

1. sometimes this feedback haptic on the mouse is not triggered, leaving me by clicking on the mouse, while feeling against nature - something that is not supposed to happen
2. after I close my laptop / closing of the lid/Eve (do not turn it off) the keyboard and the mouse literally don't work - it forces me to restart my laptop several times (sometimes around 15, take me 5-10 minutes just to get my laptop to work)
Additional details:
-J' tested a USB keyboard and mouse with my laptop and it works perfectly, even when the internal don't - maybe it's a hardware problem?
-I went to the apple store a few weeks ago and spoke to someone at the "Genius Bar," which really helped at all - he told me I have to restart my laptop every time I open and I should do another user account - although I was skeptical about the logic used to arrive at these "solutions" I tried them anyway , here we are with the same problem - also, I don't have to close my laptop down 15 times every time I want to use, it's ridiculous, and that's why I bought a mac rather than a pc.
-I'm not running any software/battery intensive programs on my laptop - especially just the word and the Google Chrome, which is not a lot
-Here is a link to a video I downloaded from google reader showing how ridiculous, it's... https://drive.Google.com/open?ID=0B4oQ4C8NCLcWTWo5aVlrbDE1QmM
Questions
-I don't think that a fix is quite likely, but any suggestions are welcome!
-Can I bring to the apple store and require a replacement? I left two years of care of apple
This is probably in the wrong category, I apologize in advance - but it is a really weird problem that I don't think has a solution. Nevertheless, thank you for the reading of my rants and seizure of your advice!
One thing that causes the mouse further trolling, is if your CPU is completely consumed by something. This can be checked in activity monitor CPU (all processes).
Two other things can keep your Mac to be properly adjusted:
GPU is suspended. These are cases where the GPU is no longer and can usually be seen in the console log, with symptoms such as GPU hang or WindowServer does not.
Disk crashes.
For the rotation of the discs, this can be a sign of imminent death of player.
For SSDS of spare parts, this can be caused by the accumulation of deleted blocks, used in activating do not trim for your third-party SSD drive.
-------
The reason of suggests that you create a new user id is as a check against the clogging of a particular userid with junk that keeps things from being reactive. [a new user id will not have it clutter accumulated, so can react differently. He is not really a solution, it's a diagnosis.]
