  • When I click right I do not get a print option

    When I click right I do not get a print option

    What happened to your system between the time where he used to work and the time where it does not?

    What types of files are you a click right on?

    Is 'print' missing when you click

    • txt files
    • PDF files
    • doc or docx files
    • jpg or other image files

    In order to have the option 'print ' -.

    1. You must have a program installed that will open and print the document you choose and that file type must be associated with this program (i.e., is the program that opens when you double-click the file).
    2. You must have a default printer, which must be the printer you want to print.

    Right-click on an empty space on your desktop and select new > text Document.

    If when you right click on the newly created text document you get a print option, then you need to repair or reinstall the applications associated with other types of files (for example, Adobe Reader for PDFs, Microsoft Word doc or docx files, etc.).

  • Laptop freezes when running applications

    I got a G6 Pavilion - 2263ca with Windows 8. When I open an application on the start screen, the laptop freezes and closed. I ran a system recovery and all the system diagnostics, but nothing has changed and I can't find a hardware problem. I sent it for repair in the workshop, they replaced the HARD drive and reinstalled the OS but nothing changes. Right now, all I can do is reinstall the RAM, but seriously, I don't think it will solve the problem. Please help me :-(

    Hello

    Try the following.

    In regards to the manual maintenance on the link below, delete one of your memory modules and then see if the laptop works Ok.  If it doesn't, try the same module, but in another location.  If it is still working properly, try the other memory module in both slots, to see if any combination will allow the laptop to run without freezing.

    The procedure for withdrawal of these modules is detailed from Page 55 of your & Maintenance Guide.

  • Why TB does not freeze when I click on account settings? (Goes from bad to worse!)

    A few days ago, I posted a question about migration backup emails in TB. I got help, but not a definitive answer to my problems. Unfortunately, my wife and I seem to have created an additional problem which must be resolved before we return to the issue of migration of file. Now, TB freezes when I try to check the settings of an account. This may be due to our attempt to copy an old e-mail folder (file .sbd), in my current profile. That's how it happened:

    We copied a saved .sbd folder to
    C:\Users\FF\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\pnp8j2nf.default\Mail\Local records
    We have not seen any change in TB.

    Then, in TB, we created a folder under local folders, giving it the same name as the .sbd that we had copied. The content become so visible in TB.

    When I tried to check the settings of an account, TB has frozen. Restart TB did not help. Then we tried to go back to our previous steps by deleting the folder newly created in TB and .sbd file in local folders. I restarted TB and PC, but TB still freezes when we try to check the account settings.

    Think that we could have corrupted profile, we also renamed the 8 character profiles .default under C:\Users\FrankF\AppData\Local\Thunderbird\Profiles and C:\Users\FrankF\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles, hoping TB would generate a new profile, but now the TB does not start without the profile.

    We wonder if we should remove profiles.ini or remove its contents to force TB to create a new profile. Any advice on which are originally the gel and how to fix? Thanks in advance.

    Apparent victory! I copied my saved files (trrevilc.default) to

    C:\Users\FF\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles and edited profiles.ini, changing -

    [Agroalimentaire1]
    Name =TB difficulty
    IsRelative = 1
    Path = Profiles /kdtnv197. Fix TB
    Default = 1

    TO

    [Agroalimentaire1]
    Name =PlanetXP
    IsRelative = 1
    Path = Profiles /trrevilc.default
    Default = 1

    and Voila! my darlings old emails and accounts reappeared... even though I have an e-mail account w a problem.

    I'm still wondering (after I backup C:\Users\FF) the best way to remove the other profiles. Suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks again.

  • Why my ipad air display does not freeze when I click on an e-mail link

    I have an Air of the Ipad, a little more than 12 months old.  Excellent summer without probs.  Very busy on a particular site, receive emails related to a particular site. Summer works well for a few hours, then I noticed when I clicked on an e-mail link the frozen screen, I closed and went directly to the site to respond via a message center, it worked well; I contacted the site directly and briefed them on the issue and they suggested that I deleted cache.and browsers ensure my machine has been configured to accept cookies. I tried both of these suggestions to resolve without result: can someone help me please.

    It is a known issue with 9.3. Currently, Apple knows about the issue but has yet to release a patch.

    Workarounds are the people see if the Opera browser or puffin can work for them. Or they can go into the settings, safari, advanced and disable javascript.

    For your mail, you can use a browser to access the account that could allow you to click on the links. (for example, I have yahoo, then I'd go to yahoo.com, sign here via the browser opera or puffins, and make any link that follows I do)

    Other people just have to wait for a fix to come and there is no time for when this will happen

  • laptop freezes when performing automatic maintenance

    My sony vaio SVE15137CGW (Windows 8) started to freeze when the automatic Maintenance starts (after staying idle for a few minutes). A black clock appears on the task bar, so I know that the service is running. I can market to stop the gel which is a real nuisance.

    What could cause this problem and how can I solve this problem? How can I disable the automatic maintenance until I solved the problem? I followed the instructions on the Web page below, but the interview turned on even once after a reboot:

    Hello

    Automatic maintenance facilitates efficiency slowed and allows the activity to execute in a timely and prioritized way. So, the event that is configured to run will begin when the previously described (defined by default at 02:00 every day).

    the default configuration from the active automatic maintenance should do no harm at all. However, personal computers are not always lit, and nor are they heavily loaded by processes or data. Therefore, it is recommended to disable the automatic maintenance in personal computers to avoid the processing overhead.

    After the automatic maintenance turned off, you can manually optimize your PC by manually initializing the command CHKDSK of disk defragmentation, etc..

    You can check the link to find out how to disable the automatic Maintenance using Task Scheduler tasks:

    Refer to the suggestion which is marked as an answer:

    If you do not find the same performance after you disable the automatic Maintenance, reactivate tasks.

  • Laptop freezes when restored from sleep mode.

    Hello
    I'm running Windows XP, SP3 on a laptop Lenovo Thinkpad 61 T.
    My computer works fine, except that if I put in mode 'sleep' and then wake it, it freezes. Even the Windows shut down does not work, and I have to restart with the power button.  When the computer reboots, it works fine.  I did virus scans and even replaced the operating system and installed programs with an image that I made well before this problem started.
    I could use some advice.  Thanks in advance.

    Could be something as simple as a video driver, or a change in the power settings.

    Can first update you your video driver to the latest version available?

    The go to start > Search > type CMD > right click and run as admin > type powercfg /a

    Cutting results and upload them to us here.

  • Laptop freezes when I plug in HDMI to monitor

    When I plug a HDMI cable to my laptop, the screen freezes and forms a black box around the screen. The only thing I can see is my screen background image. Cannot do anything, the system is totally frozen. When I disconnect it everything works fine again. What should I do? I use a HP ENVY DV7-7250us with WIN7 (64 bit) installed thanks! B

    It sounds as if there is a problem with the TV\Monitor. I see that you have not specified which other inputs has the device. This would help. Call you a monitor. The rest of us use LCD screens. It is only 20 inches by your description. I wouldn't use it if it would not accept a video signal with a resolution higher than 1024 x 768.
