Lasetjet M252dw: M252dw Magenta covered pages

I bought M252 about a month ago. He gave me the sign of the "bass Cyan" about a week ago. After a while (in the week), printing out began to come out covered in magenta, as in, the entire page is covered in magenta as the background. However, whenever I print the configeration report, there are a bunch of magenta upward and the rest of the page is white background.

What can be the problem? I am very worried because the Cyan toner is low and I need to replace it, but now I wonder if it's a problem of cartridge or printer. Because if it is a printer problem, my new toner Cyan would be lost.

PS: I crossed this page (bad printing quality of fixation) and covered all the steps you mentioned.

http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c04518481

Thank you

Most of the problems affecting a single color time concern for this color toner cartridge.

If it is a printer problem printer should be guaranteed since you got a month.

If the magenta cartridge does not give you a low toner message then you need to contact HP support because they might decide to send you a replacement.

To contact support find the support page for your machine on the HP site and look for the link contact.

Bands are equidistant policies 48 pt or less, does not occur on larger fonts. Band spacing varies from 1.5 to 2 cm according to the size of the font.

Band occurred using Word or Powerpoint, and also when the page print confirmation online.

Photos not affected. Printer diagonstic page shows no banding on black or one of the other 5 colors.

    Hey @mrz,

I think that you are having a hardware failure with your printing system. If you want to change the back driver just follow the steps below:

    1. Click on the Start menu
    2. Select the devices and printers
    3. In the devices and printers folder right click on your Photosmart C6250 and left-click on properties of the printer
    4. Left click on the Advanced tab
    5. Click the dropdown for driver and everything just move it back to your Photosmart driver.
    6. Select apply and then OK to save the changes to driver.

With regard to an all-in-one who would be on your needs and is economical on ink I would propose a HP Officejet 8610 e-all-in-one or an Officejet 8620 e-all-in-one.

HP Officejet 8610 and Officejet 8620 purchase price

Both printers have the same exact capabilities, but the 8620 Officejet has a slightly larger screen and duplex can copy and scan as well.

Here are the specifications for these printers:

    Features of HP Officejet 8610

    Features of HP Officejet 8620

The Officejet 8610 and 8620 have a removable printhead that adapt the 4 cartridges. The print head is covered by the manufacturer's warranty and any HP extended warranty that you can buy. By so if the printhead fails it will be replaced without cost to you with 4 new cartridges. There is a black cartridge, cyan, magenta and yellow that come with your printer.

The performance of standard page for cartridges are:

    Black - 1000 pages

    Cyan - 700 pages

    Yellow-700 pages

    Magenta - 700 pages

This size is supplied with the printer in the box.

    Extra-large performance for cartridges are:

    Black - 2300 pages

    Cyan - 1500 pages

    Yellow-1500 pages

    Magenta - 1500 pages

Even though this model is an Officejet printer, its print system still allows you to print photos and documents. This makes it compatible with Matt and glossy photo paper.

I wish you good luck with your decision. Thanks again for joining the Forums of HP Support! Take care

  • Adding a background picture in Muse

I am currently working on a website for a promising singer/songwritter and I am doing in the background of the site a photo of her. The problem is that whenever I try to add more content to the page or make the page longer, Muse automatically zoom in on the picture. Im trying to go where the background image fills the screen and just have the scrolling conent. Is there a way to do this? Thank you

    Hello

You can either increase the resolution of the Image using any image editor like photoshop, so that the image used as the filling of the browser or page fill will adjust the content properly or use tile fitting.

Also, if you want to show only a specific part of the page background image, and then create a rectangle and use on the page with image fill, this rectangle covers page.

  • Problem with Simple Contact form fields do not come into the home.

    Hello

The form of a Simple Contact on our site is not letting users enter their names and e-mail addresses.  The other fields for cell phone and Message are working well.

I though this might be a problem with the hosting, but the site is hosted on Business Catalyst (badfishy.businesscatalyst.com).

I created other test sites and insert the Simple Contact form which worked perfectly, so I'm not sure what I did to the main site to cause this problem.

Any help would be appreciated muchly.

    See you soon

    Ben

    Hi Ben

I checked the site and it seems that the frame of the accordion is extended to the covering page so 2 fields in form because of which fields are not active because they are behind the plot of the accordion.

Please reduce the accordion framework such as the fields of the form are not behind the frame and then it should work.

    Thank you

  • Darkens image placement document

As the subject says, when I put some images in my document, darken all the content on all pages.

That's what I managed to know so far:

    • He darkes all when that happens, text, other photos and items (sets) of the master page. The master page itself is not affected.
    • Some png with transparency (white background) does not obscure the images.
    • Some png without transparency (filled background) darken the image. I used these pictures in other documents and they do not darken the page then.
    • Some png with transparency darken the image
    • Jpg does not appear to affect the page at all.
    • It does not matter if I put the image on the page or outside on the editing table (alas, there nothing semi transparent covering page that I can see).

    Help?

I see I forgot to add a point: I was thinkihg this as well, but the export of PDF had the same error.

As I said, this is a display problem, and it will show in the PDF file on the screen and low-resolution printing. I think that you will find that, if you use the exit Preview to check the numbers that they have not changed.

  • M252DW: Purple Zebra printing

I recently bought a LaserJet M252DW (of course a little over 30 days so that I can't return it...), but whenever I print, the first 2-3 pages always have a band discolored towards the bottom of the right side. Pages more than print, the color goes to normal.

The color will be back after a few moments of downtime. It seems compatible with whatever of the right part of the impression is, no matter where it is on the page.

If I have something that is 1/2 page to print, there is approximately a stripe 1 "that's wide color down the entire page... If I print something full page, its about 2 "down all right of the page.

I really could use any help how to solve this problem.

If it is magenta, a toner cartridge if it is purple, it would become more than one cartridge.

  • color laserjet pro m252dw: How do to return/difficulty recent update of firmware for hp color laserjet pro m252dw as now does not

My printer color laserjet (color laserjet pro m252dw) no longer works due to not recognize a black cartridge to third because of a recent update of the firmware. Error given is 'Supply memory error'.

I already looked to the top of the page of Software Support for this printer, but new and recent firmware update is not released/listed, only the firmware upgrade market is given.

I'd appreciate advice and instructions on how to return/repair my printer no longer print.

Can you please advise on which firmware update to install instead to get my printer back in the order of operation?

    Thank you very much

    Geertje

PS: HP: how VERY boring; next time that I'm in the market for a printer I have will conduct the review of my options

According to the other thread that I have commented on the user managed to solve the problem of roll back firmware version 20160331 to 20150716 .  Unfortunetly the user did not comment if the old version of firmware is out so that we can share a simlilar solution.  It may be that this person had a copy archived in offline mode or found another source outside the HP support Web site.

At least you can get an older version of firmware all the steps that we share for the firmware downgrade won't do you no good.  I'd be careful to search a German site for firmware updates.  HP has put regional locks in place according to international contracts, that they do to market their products in a given region.  Using a German firmware on a printer WE made may have strange side effects on what types of cartridges are allowed.

What is perhaps a better use of your time would be to contact your 3rd party cartridge company and see if they can send you a cartridge that is compatible with the new firmware.  Chances are that they have seen the same problem with other users and already have a chipset to work around the problem.  In this way, you can stay on the newest firmware and continue to use your favorite too cartridges.

Make sure the printer driver is correctly selected for the media size, the type of paper and the plateau. You can find more information of the printer on page 40, manuals, of Laserjet M252dw. You will also find documentation on loading trays.

When you print from the main tray, remove the paper and simply load the paper 4 x 6.

  • LaserJet Pro M252dw: Paper heavy weight causes ghositng

Our M252dw printer has ghosting (light versions of the printed item) each time we use card stock or labels. The same element of printing on plain paper shows no ghost image. Is there a way to adjust to big stock on this printer or another way to stop the remanence? The user must be able to print on thick, and I do not think that it exceeds the upper limit that I saw mentioned in some of the answers in the forum. If there is no way to adjust for thicker paper is a different model that will allow the adjustment of thicker stock?

  • Color Laserjet pro m252dw: print off center

My printer prints slightly biased (as too far to the right). I did the alignment test and tried to solve the problem by adjusting printing to several mm to the left, but it does not work. I am trying to print labels with graphics that contain a border of circle-because the page is printing off center seem no good labels. I print on sticker paper for labels and have used several different programs label to print from, and all have the same resulf of centred off the coast. Any suggestions? Help would be very appreciated!

    Hey @OldSoulA,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that you have a problem of quality when printing labels from your computer Windows 8.1 to your HP Color LaserJet Pro M252dw. I would like to help you today with this problem of printing the label. Thank you for all the troubleshooting steps you tried before reaching out for support. At this point, I'm going to make sure that the labels that you are printing on conform to the specifications of your HP Laserjet Printer. Once you confirm that the labels you are using are supported, we will miss some tests in order to check if this central issue is caused by the type of paper or a problem of setting. Please follow the steps below.

    Step 1: Check paper:

According to the specifications of your HP Laserjet Printer, the following labels are supported:

    • You can load up to 50 sheets of labels into the tray at 1 time. Do not exceed 50 sheets
    • Avoid mixing media into the tray with paper. Avoid labels on top of plain white paper in your loading tray
    • Avoid using labels that are separated from the backing sheet, wrinkled or damaged in any way
    • Do not use labels that have exposed the carrier sheet
    • Do power not more than once a sheet of labels into the printer
    • Avoid printing on both sides of the labels
    • Avoid printing on sheets which the labels have been removed
    • Make sure that you use the specific Laser as adhesive labels can damage internal components in your machine.

Once you have confirmed that the paper of the label that you are using is meet the specifications of your printer can you please move to the next step.

    Step 2: Print Self Test:

    1. Load of the plain white paper in your paper tray
    2. On the front panel of your printer then drag your finger to the left and select configuration
    3. Under the menu Setup touch Service
    4. Tap the cleaning Page
    5. Print a cleaning Page now. This page should show the colored lines centered

Check the alignment of the present report.

    • The colored lines appear centered?
    • Printing documents from your computer on plain white paper print centered?

Please reply to this message with the result of your troubleshooting so far. Once I have the results of your troubleshooting with the answers to my questions above, I'll be more than happy to provide additional assistance for this problem. I look forward to hear from you!

  • HP COLOR LASERJET PRO M252DW: HP COLOR LASERJET PRO M252DW never able to print without problem

M252DW running on WiFi with three computers Win10.  Regardless of the computer that I use, the printer doesn't print.  Message to print screen says not 'online' when it is by the LCD.  Can I reset or power cycle, no help.  The only thing that seems to help is going to the printer and print a test page. This step seems to help sometimes, and I get a test page and can't seem to print for a period of time.  It is happening since new (July 1015) and I'm about to returned.  FYI, I have no problem to print wireless an inkjet Canon, sitting next to the ch, from any computer.

Any suggestions other than buying a laser gun?

  • HP Color LaserJet Pro M252dw: HP Color LaserJet Pro M252dw

I print an A5 booklet using folded A4 paper. How can I stop printing page doube to print one side upside down. I can solve this problem by setting the print upside-down page, it prints the right way around... but if the printer should be able to make the impression of the way round on his own?

    Hi chazzzz,

Welcome to the HP Support forum.

I understand that you use a HP Color LaserJet Pro M252dw with a Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan and when you try to create an A5 booklet using A4 size paper folded one side of the paper is printed in reverse. I would like to help.

The printer can print double-sided and have two sides printed the right way around. Looks like you might be not to select the appropriate link option.

Follow these steps to use the auto duplexer built-in for most printing.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.
