Latitude E6410 NVIDIA graphics not detected

I tried to install the nvidia drivers, but the card was not recognized. Then I restarted the system and you press f2 and realized that it is not detected even here. What can be the problem?

Discrete means there is an nVidia chip in the system. UMA means it is Intel only.

NVidia chip is a purchase option in, usually on the high-end models.  If this option is not selected for purchase, the default is video only Intel.

The list of the original at support.Dell.com Setup will tell you that you have.  If there is a reference to the UMA, it is Intel-only.  The configuration list will be an entry for the NVS3100m if it is present in the system (and without reference to the UMA).

Recently my NVidia graphics card was not detected in the bios and in Device Manager, so I contacted Dell and they replaced my motherboard (NVidia is built into the motherboard). Now I can see my NVidia card in my system. But original window 8 still gives me blue screen error (ERROR FATALE VIDEO) and when the pc is restarted, NVidia has also disappeared. But I see once again when I shut down and turn on again. So, I use my own 8.1 window, and all is still ok, now with the exception of two errors.

First one, it of my intel graphics hd went and not detected in the BIOS. I don't want to run on NVidia card all the time.

Second, one is that I can not install my killer LAN driver for my LAN network. I can only install driver wifi.

Is it because of 8.1 window problem or hardware problem? I hope the technician Dell can help me. Thank you.

Now, I solved the problem. Thanks for your advice. Problem is that in windows 8, I can see the two crads graphics in Manager mode optimus devices or not. But in windows 8.1 I don't see them both when I'm in the mode optimus, only nvidai map is visible in Device Manager. But can see them both in mode no optimus. Hope that the answer will help others.

Probably the computer laptop Dell Latitude 630, Dell chose NOT to provide compatible video drivers Windows 7 for your model, and had checked with Dell before you buy Windows 7 and upgrade, you discovered this for yourself and perhaps save yourself time and money.

The best you can do is try the Vista 64 driver provided by Dell and if it doesn't, return to any operating system for which you have the installation media.

You can contact Dell support and ask if they are still likely to release the Windows 7 drivers for THEIR hardware... Mike Hall MVP - Windows Desktop Experience http://msmvps.com/blogs/mikehall/

  • Alienware 17 - integrated graphics not detected in BIOS - cannot switch to the integrated graphics card

As the title says, I own an Alienware 17, bought around November of 2013. My NVidia GeForce GTX 770 M runs like a champ. But I can't go to the integrated graphics card (should be Intel HD Graphics 4600). I tried the Fn + F5 (several times). It is said that it is "optimal". Tried with the laptop plugged in and not plugged. I looked in Device Manager and there is only a single index card (NVidia) view. I then booted the BIOS and it said: 'Integrated Graphics - undetected. " I have the latest BIOS version available on the support Web site.

Don't know what to do at this point. I should have integrated and discrete, but only discreet is detected. I want to be able to switch to the Intel card, so that I can mess around with things like the Intel WiDi and want to also DO NOT perform my NVidia card all the time, and because I'm not playing games all the time.

Any ideas? All support staff out there who can help out me?

Cub... I think I might have answered my own question... My laptop has the option to display 3D 120 Hz. For this reason, 'Optimus' technology is not available (I think I say this right), and so I can't go to the graphics card Intel because of the way the 3D display is wired. There is a YouTube video that I saw what explains the all (link below).

"Alienware 17 with 120 Hz 3D display has no integrated graphics":

    https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=RJ3IRvCkllg

Then... Not sure that I'm too happy with Dell right now. One of the advantages that I looked forward had to be able to change maps and play with some of the features of the Intel WiDi map in particular. When I bought the laptop, I was not made aware that I would lose the functionality of upgrade of the screen to get the 3D option. Would have been nice to know, so that I know what are the trade-offs.

  • Latitude E6430 Port Replicator not detect digital displays during startup

    Hello

I have two new Dell E6430, both have the same problem. When the laptop is connected, the lid closed and under tension, no monitor active. Only when I power off, then open the lid of the laptop and power on I see the start of the cycle on the laptop screen, it happen then to the monitors. I use the new Duplicator with two digital outputs. When I use the older model with a digital and an analog Port Replicator, the laptop will start to analog and then when the windows screen appears, returns to digital monitor (as it should). As the nvidia driver will not load without the intel first, I loaded all the windows updates and drivers for vidoe intel and nvidia. I also loaded chipset, system utilities and verified bios is updated.

Someone has experienced this problem or have any ideas that I might be missing?

    1. disable Optima in BIOS

    2. go on Nvidia.com site under drivers and have it detect your video card.

    3. install the Nvidia driver using custom settings, choose clean install. (This will reboot twice during the installation) After the second restart a monitor will start.

    4. change the settings of your video card to drive both monitors.

at this point to change your power to the 'status quo' setting when the laptop lid is closed. Close the lid and restart.

    Hey Milena123,

There are two ways that you can keep your computer up to date. One is that you can always check the HP Pavilion dv6-6b55ea Entertainment Notebook PC drivers , updates from HP available.

The second is to use the HP Support Assistant. I've included the document using HP Support Assistant (Windows 7, Windows Vista). If you open the HP Support Assistant and check the title of the interview, you will see an option to check the updates.

    I hope this helps!

  • Flex 14 is not detect the Nvidia graphic card

Earlier today, I started my computer and noticed the Nvidia Control Panel was not an option in the context menu. After going to services.msc, I noticed the service of display driver Nvidia was not running, and if I tried to start it, it would immediately crash. Then I went to the Manager of peripheral and seen as graphics cards, is visible that was Intel's integrated graphics. I wiped the Nvidia drivers, and when I tried to install the last that I was told that 'this graphics driver cannot find compatible graphics hardware." I tried to reset the BIOS, which did nothing. My concern here is that the graphics card is dead, or he shook his place somehow. Are there any suggestions you can offer to solve this problem, or I have to disassemble the laptop? Thanks for your help.

    Data sheet:

    CPU: Intel (R) Core (TM) i5-4200U @ 1.60 GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.3GHz

    RAM: 4 GB (4096 MB)

GPU: Intel Integrated Graphics (onboard), Nvidia Geforce GT 720 M (discrete)

    Model: Lenovo Flex 14

I discovered the cause of the problem. A driver corrupted to "Intel (r) 8 series PCI Express Root Port #5" was the culprit. In Device Manager, he appeared with an exclamation on the icon and after uninstalling the NVidia card appeared. After that, it was just a matter of reinstalling the drivers and it was all sorted out.

  • CQ5110y - new graphics card not detected

I have a cq5110y that I am trying to upgrade the graphics on.

I just installed a bigger power supply and is working on the installation of a Sapphire Radeon R7 240, but when I turn on my computer it does not detect the new hardware.  Am I missing a step?  Or is the card DOA?

The steps to install the new card were quite simple--plug it into the PCI-e slot and connect the monitor.  There was a note to disable any integrated first graphic, so I put the display to PCI-e in the BIOS.  Is that all I had to do to disable the integrated graphics card?  I think that this could be my problem?

Your Compaq Presario CQ5110Y desktop uses a chipset NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 seems limited to the PCI Express 1.0 version.  PCIe v1.0 is compatible front of PCIe v2.0.  PCIe v2.1 and above is not backwards comptible with your motherboard. Your Sapphire Radeon R7 240 seems to use a PCIe v3.0 card and is therefore not compatible with your computer. Please return the card for a graphic card PCIe v2.0 solve your problem.

  • OptiPlex 390 DT, Palit NVidia Geforce 210 is not detected in the PCI slot (as shown in the BIOS)?

    Hello gentlemen!

I would like to know why the graphics card is not detected in my PC.

    The graphics card is 64-bit 1024Mo sDDR3

    And the CPU has

    Intel I3, 6 GB ram

    -Installed the gpu

    -Start windows built in graphics

-installation of the driver fails two albums and the latest drivers downloaded from Nvidia or Palit saying there are no devices detected installing

-checked the BIOS and I saw that pci slot where my g-card displayed an [empty]

-traveled around the bios by any disabling of options for my integrated in the card or anything... any

-checked around dell.com and saw that nvidia geforce 210 cards are compatible with my pc model exactly, even if this compatible graphics card has been a model of Evga, not a model from Palit.

-which is where I started scratching my head

Is there other details, that I need to provide?

    I appreciate the help.

The 210 was a terrible GT card when it comes to compatibility.  Brand can also make a difference. Given that the GT 210 is an old map of the series, I would say get a GT 610 rather like this one HERE and turning the GT 210.  The EVGA TG 610 is also mentioned as being compatible with the Optiplex 390 DT.  I assume that you bought a PCI Express X 16 video card and not a PCI card, correct?

  • Latitude E6410 internal display will not work unless the driver is disabled, regardless of the OS

    Hi all

I had done research on google without end, dell community support research, etc. and cannot find the solution. The internal computer screen does not work on my Latitude E6410, except if the display driver is disabled. I tried all the drivers on the Dell Web site (including previous versions). The laptop has the card Nvidia nvs 3100 m. I've updated to the latest version of the driver available from Nvidia, and it still doesn't work. However, I can use an external monitor using a VGA connection.

    Tried with Windows 7 x 86 and x 64. X 86 and x 64 Windows 8. Windows XP x 86 same results.

The strange thing is that if I leave the compatible driver, I can see the screen flash Dell OEM and the beginning of the GUI of Windows boot, but once the driver is started, the screen goes black.

Ran the Dell diag and video passages. I think the problem is driver/software related like the screen works, but once the driver is loading with Windows, the screen stops video production.

BIOS is updated. All the other drivers installed.

    Any suggestions?

Laptop is still under warranty, so if I have to I can get a mobo replaced, but want to exclude all other possibilities first.

Thanks for all comments and suggestions.

OK, so I finally found the fix (literally, this morning).

After browsing the internet, I found another site where this driver was the recommended fix and it worked:

    http://www.Dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/DriverDetails?driverId=R287174

Now, my e6410 is not the nvidia driver and intel, only nvidia card.

If your e6410 Intel and Nvidia, you may need to play with the pilots to see what will work the Nvidia driver (I'm guessing the driver Dell A08 works well).

As a couple of my co-workers have the same e6410 and did not have this problem, it seems that the material appears to be the culprit, but only in the sense that a particular version of the Nvidia NVS 3100 m driver works with the Dell driver A08 and some will work with the driver Nvidia 302,80 (9.18.13.280) (which is installed by Windows as well). My Dell was purchases / delivered late 2010. My co-workers that Dell was purchase / shipped in early 2011. I don't know if the short time makes all the difference in what provided Dell (or correctly, what Nvidia to Dell Dell installed), but there is a difference.

I also tried to upgrade the driver A08 (which is the version of the driver 8.17.12.5922 dated dated: 31/07/2010) to the 9.18.13.280 (as of: 11/06/2012) and it did not work. I had to go back to the 8.17.12.5922 to get the video to work again.

    My Nvidia NVS 3100 m firmware/bios version is: 70.18.53.00.04.

I hope this helps anyone with this issue, but for now, it seems that the A08 driver is necessary for users of this issue.

Good luck to all with this question, but I will now consider this matter resolved.

  • Not found NVIDIA graphics hardware on the computer.

I have a R4 M17X. It has been working perfectly so far.

I installed Windows 8. My games slowed down considerably so I tried to install a driver for my Nvidia 660 M. He said that I had to install a first Intel driver. I installed the intel driver that was recommended on the dell website. Now, when you try to install the graphics driver, the message says "this graphics driver cannot find compatible graphics hardware. When you try to open the NVIDIA Control Panel, it says 'a NVIDIA graphics card has not detected in your system ".

Any advice on where to go then would be appreciated. Please keep in mind that I am not very computer savvy.
