  I was generally not satisfief with W500 performance so I installed Vista 64 from a downloaded dvd image. Somewhere on this forum I read that the license must be valid for 32 and 64 bit, but Vista 64 does not recognize the valid key. Would this work if I uninstalled the 32-bit system? or the license is really 32-bit system?

  I just experienced this myself and found that there is an extra step... Once you have applied again the key to new construction with ABR, it won't appear that active. Just log out and back in again, Windows invites you to insert the key, use the key that ABR extracted from the initial installation.

• First Pro CS6 license not recognized - "serial number provided is valid, but calling it a product was not found on this computer."

  I have a new computer and tried to get the first Pro CS6 installed. I have a license first Pro "Version 6"Windows - I can see in MY PRODUCTS. So downloaded installation for first Pro CS6 "old downloads" page - when I put in the serial number, it says ' serial number provided is valid, but calling it a product was not found on this computer. "there is a"select a product"drop down and the only thing on the list is Pro Prem CS5.5 - when I put in the liscence here It says invalid. Just to try, I downloaded the installation for CS5.5 and who does not accept the license at all. What can I do to get the CS6 running on my new computer?

  A bit of history which could be related, I remember that I originally bought first Pro CS5 from someone on ebay, not knowing that it was a Mac version, which would not work on my PC - so I contacted Adobe and upgraded to CS6 for Windows at a lower cost. I see in MY PRODUCTS there is a serial number for the two "Adobe Premier Pro" version 5 for MAC and Version 6 for Windows.

• Flash Player not recognized by Acrobat XI

  I have problems after installing Adobe Acrobat XI and ActiveX of Flash Player.

  Open a PDF file with content flash in Adobe Acrobat XI results in a message saying that Flash Player is not available and must be installed, but it is already installed.

  Most, if not all of the machines affected hereby are on Windows XP.

  Any ideas why this would happen?

• My CS4 product license key will not work with Acrobat 9 Pro

  Last month, I have updated my OS from Mavericks to El Capitan.  CS4 was working fine until the Illustrator would launch with menus grey and simply spend time.

  Acrobat 9 Pro was working fine until I tried to reinstall illustrator of my installation and then DVD two once again Adobe download: Download Adobe Creative Suite 4 products.  Then everything happened on the side!

  I was in a chat session with Adobe support.  They told me that my license of the CS4 product key was not valid with Acrobat Pro.  Really?  How I use Acrobat Pro since my purchase of CS4?   They told me this forum to access assistance with my problem.

  a separate serial number was probably issued for your acrobat.

  probably not.

  you need a platform swap (Exchange a product Adobe of a different version of the language or platform) but which is only supported for the latest versions of adobe.

  You can get the upgrade pricing and exchange platforms, or use an abonnemement DC acrobat and use on both platforms.

• Acrobat Pro for Mac not recognized 11.0.14

  I received the notification there was an update to Acrobat Pro.  I went through the usual and accepted procedure the automatic update process.  He failed.  Then, I downloaded the 11.0.14 update from the Adobe website and tried a manual update.  When I tried to mount the file AcrobatUpd11014.dmg, it says, "the following disk image cannot be opened because the image is not recognized.

  No idea how to get a copy valid disk image so I can update my program?

  I tried the methods described in the article and nothing worked except a complete re-installation of the program.  Therefore, Acrobat Pro is now 11.0.14, but it was not easy to solve.

  Since you say that you have a few licenses, this is the case where you have a volume license?  I don't know the technical details, but for some reason any support deny help when problems of volume licensing serial number - they should be no denying help for activation of licenses individual assistance.

• Telephone numbers in an excel spread sheet not recognized by Adobe Acrobat DC

  Prior to my upgrade to Adobe Acrobat DC on my iPhone, phone numbers in an excel sheet spread is recognized by Acrobat Reader as such i.e. you would touch and hold the number, a "pop up" seems so the opportunity to 'CALL' or 'SEND a MESSAGE '. This feature does work in format Adobe Acrobat, DC, why not?

  Acrobat DC IOS uses the iOS Apple SDK to display the overview of the documents not PDF (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  It looks like a bug Apple for failing to detect automatically phone numbers only in Excel spreadsheets.

  I opened my Excel (.xls and .xlsx), Word (.docx), PowerPoint (.pptx) documents with numbers from phone to Acrobat DC for iOS.   The phone numbers in Word and PowerPoint documents have been properly recognized as such.  In the preview, plain text is transformed into text underlined in blue.  When you press and hold on the phone number, you will get the options you have mentioned.

  

  On the other hand, the phone numbers in the Excel spreadsheet were not recognized in the preview.  In Excel, I used the cell Format > number > special > phone number with the United States (in English) as a language.  But it has not fixed the problem.

  It turns out that Apple Mail Preview (on iOS 8) has the same problem.  You can also send your Excel spreadsheet to yourself and open it in Apple Mail on your iPhone to confirm that this is a bug to Apple.

  Hello - I posted the following on Sunday Acrobat User Community Forums and got zero response.  I talked with Adobe tech support today and was encouraged to post here.

  Limping to the finish line of my thesis of doctorate voluminous, broken and with Acrobat 7 only, I have created a PDF file then found that Acrobat was not recognizing my word for the bookmarks structure.  I immediately thought it was because I had upgrade to Office 2008 for Mac and I do need Acrobat 9.  So I used the remaining balance on a credit card to buy Acrobat 9 download, updated, make a pdf of my review of literature part 1 and - ta, da - Acrobat 9 does not recognize my word structure.  In other words, when I go to bookmarks and select the Options menu, 'New signet of structure' option is not available.  My Word docs are all set up with heading styles allowing automatic table of contents in Word.  I thought that's how it is supposed to work to create bookmarks in the PDF files.  I had created bookmarks manually to my maps and tables but, as noted, my thesis is large and so are the tables of contents - far too long to have to manually enter unless there is simply no other way.  Already in the hole at the end of my long doctoral work, it seems currently my $159 for upgrade Acrobat 9 was all for nothing.  My last expert support contract has expired for a long time, and I guess I'll have to throw more precious money, I don't have to get professional support for this issue.  I will be very grateful if anyone on this forum can advise you.

  Version Note: after the installation of Acrobat 9, I did making level that arises and thought he said 9.1.3.  Not invited to, I even restarted after the upgrade, but when I check "About Acrobat" it tells me I have version 9.0.0.

  After posting the Sunday preceding, I discovered that when I save in pdf Acrobat 9 to Word doc files, I get a pdf file with the first pages of couple in a file separate from the rest - possibly split to a new section.  I was wondering if it was due to a mistake I might have made in distilling trying to follow confusing (to me), Setup of Acrobat 9 for Mac instructions.  While talking with colleagues in tech support I saved a pdf from a docx file and he made that a single PDF as you wait, but as mentioned above, those who do not recognize my style of header structure Word integrated.  I have my text many paper files in format doc at the request of a member of the doctoral Commission and don't want to risk having to reformat after just docx conversion if I can do PDF files - I would rather just to use Acrobat 7 If Acrobat 9 can't read my structure of Word - the reason that I dropped the bucks on it now , because I hope update Creative Suite as soon as POSSIBLE, but can't afford it right now.  The tech asked me to uninstall Acrobat 7 where this may be the source of the problems, but I don't want to do where I still need to use it.  He gave me a few alternatives, including the new preferences and a new user account with administrative access to see if Acrobat 9 will work correctly not used by Acrobat 7 on my main account.  Also I try to uninstall and reinstall the upgrade to Acrobat 9.  But frankly, I'm very disappointed at the idea of be assaulted many more hours trying to get a working product that doesn't seem to be the height of its claims - at a time where I expected to do (finally).  Someone out there has successfully created bookmarks from a Word 2008 for Mac style hierarchy?  Considering the time I've spent so far, I might as well have stuck with Acrobat 7 and just to introducing bookmarks manually.  I am reluctant to put even more time trying to use Acrobat 9 if I don't know for certain that will work, given the time that I should probably spend ion entered manually some bookmarks.  Unfortunately, after downloading Acrobat 9 I trashed all of the PDF files I had done with Acrobat 7 to avoid confusion, so I even have to go through those.  Grrrrrrrrr!  Any ideas welcome.

  Version of Acrobat Mac doesn't recognize any structure, links or any special properties in any word or an Office Document embededed. The hooks needed to do this are not included in the version of Microsoft Office for Mac. This is the only feature that Windows Office/Acrobat. I'm sorry. To do something like a desseration Ph.d. I would have recommended FrameMaker which is great for long or other technical documents. It is no longer available for the Mac :-( You will need to add bookmarks, links, etc. directly in the final document of Acrobat.

  This could happen if the floppy USB doesn t drive supports the standards of law. Some people have reported on different websites many floppy drives are not recognized.

  Try to create a new XP CD using the software called nLite!
  Then, you could include the SATA (Intel Matrix Storage Manager) driver in this new CD and then you could boot from the XP CD again.
