  Ask for help with the license transfer rules retail Win 7 in my laptop to a desktop computer. I stopped to use the laptop after a failure of a major component which made useless machine.   Just make sure that the license is no longer in use on the old computer. Go to install on the new computer and reactivate it by phone:
