LINES VERTICAL

Mac OS X 10.8

HP Laserjet 1536

I keep getting a vertical black line when I use the CHARGER OF DOCUMENTS (not the glass) for scanning or copying.

Suggestions?

Hello Pstoll,

Thanks for the post.  From what you describe, I suspect there's something deposited in the rolls of the ADF, or they are dirty.  Do you have a recent paper get stuck in the ADF?  I have included a link below for a document with some great not in t - shooting for that to be resolved.  Good luck!

  • Re: Tecra S5 - 15 q - monitor display lines vertical and error 43 for GPU

After about 5 years my Tecra S5 is experiencing problems with its graphics.
Most of the time the (internal and connected an external via VGA) monitor displays vertical lines, and windows gives an error 43 on the map.

I was wondering if there is a way to solve this problem, and if this problem could be solved under warranty (although the protohistory of the warranty expired 3 years ago.) .

In my opinion, it is bad material work and as far as I know only way to fix it is motherboard Exchange. I n t have this model of laptop, but I can presume that the GPU is fixed on the motherboard and cannot be traded separately.

    Fixed under warranty? Of course.

  • Satellite P105-S6114 - gray line vertically on the screen

    Hello

I'm new to the forum so please excuse me if I look like a novice (because I am).
I have a Toshiba P105-S6114 that suddenly developed a gray vertical line about 1 inch wide and about 3 inches from the right side of the screen. It seems that if it is washed out. You can not see on white screens but is very sensitive to all other colors. It appears when you start the laptop to search on the net, I think while it is on the screen. What is the screen? or something escapes me?

Please correct me for false assumptions in my post.

I started pricing new screens. Locally for installing I got a quote of less than $500.00. I saw on ebay (new) about $280.00 aus replacement screens. Installation I expect about $100.00. If someone knows a cheaper solution, I would be very happy to hear it.

I saw a screen for a P105-s6062 that appears from the PDF file to be identical to the S6114. It is second hand, but sounds like a viable option. Does anyone know if the screens are identical, including the connections?

Someone at - it any other suggestions? I'd be happy to hear from someone as the laptop itself is large and I don't really want to get rid of it.

    > It appears when starting the laptop to search on the net, I think while it is on the screen. What is the screen? or something escapes me?
It might be the screen of laptops, but it could also be a malfunction of the graphics card.
If you first need to know what's exactly wrong.

In your case, I recommend you to connect a second external monitor to the laptop.
Then check if the same vertical lines appears also on external monitor.

If the same could not be visible on the other display, the chances are high that a graphics card is malfunctioning.

In this case a replacement of the motherboard would be necessary and this would be a costly affair!

Anyway, in both cases, I would recommend contacting the ASP in your country.

    Good bye

  • Single line vertical when using the ADF to Scan or copy on HP Officejet Pro 8600

Printer HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium (CN577A)

    OS: MS 7 64-bit

When you use the ADF for my printer HP CN577A Officejet Pro 8600 Premium, I get a single vertical line on the document which is produced. This occurs when copying or scanning, both black and white and in color. If I scan or copy using the glass, I do not get the vertical line.

I already tried troubleshooting.  I unplugged the printer, left without electricity for several minutes; that didn't fix the problem.  Then, I cleaned the rollers and glass; I always get the vertical line, but only when using the ADF.

My firmware version is up to date (CLP1CN1150CR).

    What should I check next?

The only difference between the ADF and scanning flat, from a point of view of the scanner is there on the glass, it happens.  I suggest you get a bright flashlight and examine the corresponsing area hence is the line, it's almost certainly a spot on the strip of thin glass which is being just in the right place.

I've seen some people suggest that put a flashlight almost parallel to the Strip, it shines from the bottom can highlight the area problem.

  • Spectrum XT: Spectrum XT Lines vertical pulse on the screen: the possible inverter failure?

In recent days my screen started showing gray vertical lines for about 2 seconds then return to normal and repeat indefinitely. If I gently bend the Center at the bottom of the screen towards me that it stops for a few moments then again.

I think about a hardware problem: perhaps of the inverter?

Any opinions? Out of warranty BTW.

    Update:

Well, I finally found some time to disassemble the thing. I had the broken hinge on Christmas thing and HP replaced the back cover and this problem started a few weeks later, so I thought it was an unrelated hardware problem or a loose connection problem related.

I took apart today, removed the batteries and then removed from the screen. There was obviously nothing. I reinstalled the display connector and re-installed the batteries and turned back on it. The lines are still there. I made a few adjustments more gently pushing everything back in place and the pulsating lines disappeared. I put everything together back and his works always fine half an hour later.

I guess it was just a loose connector to the previous repair.

  • Over Pro 8600 black line vertically when printing from charger only

One year old Officejet Pro 8600 Plus on iMac running OSX Maverick works very well.  For the last week, all the copies show clean, black, original vertical when line is loaded from the top of the charger page. This line does not appear when they are copied from the glass.  The line stops about 1/8 "from top and bottom of the copy.  It is exactly 6 "between the left edge of the copy, 2-1/2" from the right edge.  I had a paper jam tray - but months before this line started to show.  Nothing else recently that I'm aware of that could be the cause.

How can I get rid of him?  Thanks for your suggestions.

    Hello again Boxcarjim,

I see that we still have a problem with the veins.  If you have tried all the troubleshooting steps on the document I have provided and you have cleaned the paper rolls, the next course of action would be to contact HP Total care.

  • I have a red line vertically down the middle of the screen during playback of movies with media player on windows 7. How can I fix it?

This happens with Windows media and windows media player classic player.  Can't we vlc and I don't get the red vertical line running down the screen.  No matter what movie I play the line is there.  But it does not appear the tile view deleted I push actually play.  When I initially opened the player, I get a blank black screen.  But once I press on play the movie starts and the red line is there.  Fast forward, rewind and pause, the line remains.  How can I solve this problem?

Have you installed a software codec pack or video? Maybe it's the cause.

Did you install W7 as an upgrade to Vista?

Another source of trouble (unlikely) is an incompatible video card driver. Gruss/greetings G. Born - Articles: http://blog.borncity.com

  • Tie line vertices to other centers of objects?

Is it possible to attach the vertices of a line to the centres of various objects, so when I move objects the vertex of the line attached to the center of this object will move with him?

And what is called a Summit in Illustrator? It seems that I am using the fake name of summits.

The feature you describe is generically called a connector line function. Most graphics programs have that. Illustrator never has. It can be done with AI scripts, because a script is a single run routine, not something that can combine new behaviors to objects which continue after that the script is run. If you need lines of connection frequently (decision arborescent diagrams, flow charts, etc, etc) you must use a different program.

  • Inspiron 9400/E1705 - lines vertical and the seeds, and then black screen on startup of the computer

I have an Inspiron 9400/E1705 with a nVidia Geforce Go 7900 GS. A few months as the computer started showing the seeds while I was game (textures does not, massive downturn, etc.) and then finally horizontal began to appear on the screen, from start-up. I was unable to get into Windows with the exception of Safe Mode. I thought that the problem was the graphics card, and some users on this forum have confirmed this suspicion. Although in May 2007, when I was still under warranty, I got the card replaced, I don't was more under warranty at the time so I started shopping around for a replacement.

Before that I bought a replacement, however, the computer just stopped starting upwards. Previously, at least I could get Safe Mode and check my e-mail or Word process; now the screen stays empty (the LCD and an external monitor) and seems not even to try to start. The power and it occupied lights turn green, however, and remain like that until I turn off the power. I tried to boot with a RAM chip, thanks to the optical drive removed, with the hard drive, removed, and combinations of these, just to see if anything would change (anything).

My question is if this can also be a symptom of the graphics card does not, or I have a bigger problem on my hands?

    Thank you.

Edit: I forgot to mention that I ran the diagnosis before the white screen began to arrive, and only errors have been associated with the video.  I can't run any diagnostic now, though, to see if there are new mistakes, which is why I want to confirm a dead card can do that until I get a new.

  • Re: Satellite P300-156 - grainy display and vertical lines on it

    Hello

whenever I have 1st start of the machine, the screen looks grainy and with 1 green line vertically down the right side of the LCD screen.

When Vista is finished startup (with my white screen), there are a lot of pink coluring on the icon, when I press "start" and it displays programs, etc., the abckground is all pink! Also the web cam settings/opener popup displays the same.

To get rid off this, I restarted the machine and everything if fine. It is the only way to rectify.

Last week, I tried again to look into the problem...

I changed the LCD, drive hard (updated to 320 GB) and updated the BIOS with the latest version of this site. Now it wil has always do the same thing, but after 30 seconds (or almost) it is automatically sorts.

I really think this sort want someone at - it ideas?

    Thanks in advance!

Maybe the BIOS update solved the problem. ;)
Anyway watch carefully what happens in the future.
