LJ 1022 keeps jobs in the queue 45 seconds after printing

SL 10.6.4 using more removed the HP printers and reinstalled the latest HP drivers from Apple on a 2008 MacBook. The problem is that after printing of the print queue does not release the job for 45 seconds. Each job will print, but the time between jobs is very frustrating. I have not seen this question on these forums. Is there something other wrong here? I tried reinstalling the drivers, checking and unchecking the share network printer option in the control without effect Panel.

The OS X 10.6.5 update solved the problem. The printer now publishes the former print job after only a few seconds.

  • M127fw MFP: How to delete the print jobs in the queue?

When I get an error message when trying to print, I keep trying to print.  This means that I can hit 'print' five times for the same document, because I hit 'print' whenever I think I might finally have something fixed.

The problem is that HP never forget any of these applications - when it finally starts printing - it always prints every single job - meaning that I get multiple copies of jobs for which I got an error message.

Where is the interface to view and delete these jobs? I can't find it on the printer itself.  Is there an interface where I can delete jobs in the queue?

Go to devices and printers and double click on the printer icon. Now click on something like seeing what is printing a list of documents should appear and you can pass by and remove whatever ones you want.

  • There is a print job in the queue who didn't Cancel.

    • There is a print job in the queue who didn't Cancel.  It does not allow the printer to print other jobs.  I tried to delete the print job, but it does not cancel.

Try this procedure (Note: you must be an administrator to do so):

    1. click on the Start button.

    2. right click "My computer" on the left side, then select 'manage '.

    3. click on "Continue" to popup security message that appears.

    4. in the middle pane of the window that opens, double click on "Services and Applications".

    5. double-click on 'Services '.

6 scroll to find "print spooler".

    7. right click and select 'Restart' (Note: make sure that you have not opened during this operation the printer print queue window).

You should now be able to delete the print job (or he amy have been removed automatically).

    Hope this helps,

  • deleting print jobs in the queue of the hp officejet pro x 64

I can't print anything because there are 5 jobs in the queue - how to remove these 5 jobs?

    Hello

From the desktop, hold down the Windows key and press R.  In the run window, type services.msc and press to enter.  Scroll down to the print spooler service, right click and select Properties, then click the Stop button.  Now, go to C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS and delete jobs inside this folder - you may need to click a command prompt to get the authority to open the PRINTERS folder.

Restart the computer and you should find that the documents have been deleted.

I suggest the following: disconnect the cable USB, then download the full driver recommended from HP here.  Once the download is complete, run the Setup program.  Do not connect the USB cable until the installation program invites you to do.

  • All printing errors in the queue for a shared printer

I have a HP6110 connected to an XP machine.  It is shared and the printer is installed on a computer vista laptop.  I could print however now each job is in the queue and then goes into an error state.  The only way I can remove the task from the queue is to restart the print spooler.

How can I fix once and for all?

Well, I never aspired to be certified MCSE on NT than a few computers existing except in places like Bletchley Park to crack the enigma code messages .

Deleting the files in the folder is at the heart of the fixing of the problem if my hypothesis about your problem is correct. The problem is one of the frequently reported printer problems.

Hi @sallyUK and thanks for getting back to me!

I appreciate you providing this info!

First of all, I would recommend restarting the print spooler, the instructions which I've included below:

    Solve printer problems

If this does not resolve the issue, I would recommend the following:

First of all, I would say uninstalling the software of the printer.

Once it is uninstalled, I suggest you put your system in clean boot mode in the configuration of Microsoft.  You can do this by following this document: How to perform a clean boot in Windows.

Once the computer is in clean boot mode, I would suggest to reinstall the HP printer install wizard for Windows.

Please let me know how it goes!
