Microsoft Lifecam has stopped working

So I bought myself a new Lifecam yesterday, and it worked very well, no drama at all.

However, this morning when I booted the computer, I ran an update to it, and it has not worked since. It may work on messenger and Skype, but whenever I try to open the file, it comes up as "Lifecam.exe has stopped working". He then tells me to restart my computer, like this should solve the problem. However, it doesn't.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but I always get the same question.

Help is very appreciated.

Hello
Step 1: Uninstall Lifecam driver and software and install them in the clean boot state.
Put your boot system helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.
Try the procedure described in step 1 in the section below to put your computer in clean boot mode.

Step 2: Also, look for error messages in the event viewer. If you find error messages after return the exact error message so that we can help you better.

Measures to check the application event log:
a. Click Start.
(b) in the search box type eventvwr.msc, and then on enter.
c. now, click Application in the event viewer (local).
d. now, looking for event log on the right side of the event viewer window.

    Hello

IE and Explorer are closely related, so things that affect one affect both.

Try these and it can also be a good idea to update your main drivers later. The General corruption can also play a

What antivirus/antispyware/security products do you have on the machine? Be one you ALREADY had on this

November 11, 2015, my desktop, operating system Windows 7, installed about 28 updates to Windows. When I then put running the computer and open Microsoft Outlook 2010, Outlook closed almost immediately and this message appeared: "Microsoft Outlook has stopped working. A problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. "(I don't check other office software).

After the problem with Outlook 2010, I rebooted the computer several times and each time has experienced the same problem with Outlook 2010.

I used system restore to restore the system to before the updates of Windows, which included a critical update. Outlook, then worked correctly. I changed the settings for Windows Update to "Never check updates" so that Outlook is not yet damaged.

Was it something wrong with the Windows updates?

The problem was solved when Microsoft released a revised version of the KB3097877 update. Maxwell Joseph, moderator of the Forum Microsoft, announced this in the post, he created at 23:22:03 on November 12, 2015, on the thread titled "update KB3097877 crash.

He said ' Microsoft has released a revised update, so we suggest you go ahead and uninstall Windows updates KB3097877 > installed updates. Restart the system and run the updates check and reinstall it back. »
