Missing certificate - Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 3

Hello

I just try to install Nokia following my operating system above Windows version of the title, but it shows following message:

Missing intermediate certificate

I also try to find answer with NOKIA Customer Services , but no technical assistance received by me. I hope that Microsoft technical support has an answer on how to solve this problem.

Please answer if someone has an answer.
Thank you

On everything you can do by end Microsoft is to make sure that your root certificates are up to date.  If a root certificate is missing or has expired, the intermediate certificate cannot load.  To update your root certificates, go to the following article:

"Members of the certificate program root Windows.

Go to the section:
"Root Update Package (planned for Windows XP only)"
Then download and run the package to update root that are there.

Hope this helps,
JW

  • Essential system for the Microsoft Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1) updates

Hi, I want to know if it is applicable to sp2 as well. I don't know why there is not one for sp2. I have an hpg60 laptop and it does not appear on the page drivers.

It's just an accumulation of the Vista updates. All are included in SP2, so you can forget about it. Simply apply SP2 (as you have done) and start a full MS update and you'll be fine.

  • Windows XP Service Pack 3 help

    Hello

I know I'm late with the thing of the installation, but I tried to install the Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 3 two days ago and my computer has been running a muck. Installation is complete and asked to restart, I restarted my computer and it take me to the Windows XP start screen, flash a blue error message and continue in an infinite loop.

Now, my computer won't let me log into my account. Instead, I logged into safe mood and tried to uninstall the service pack. However, when I try to uninstall, a message tells me that the file is not found.

I also tried to use the system restore process, but when it gives me the calendar what day choose, it allows me to choose that day I'm in and the "installed Windows XP Service Pack 3" isn't even an option in the Restore Point.

Also, I tried to reinstall the service pack, but it's just not a good... (and Yes, there is enough free space on the drive in my computer)

I really don't want to restore my computer to factory settings, any comments will help!

Additional information: my computer is a 32-bit, the compaq computer that has about 7 years.

    Technical information: STOP: 0x0000007E (0xc0000005, 0xF7896756, 0xF7A91430, 0xF7A9112C)

My C: Drive: = 69.2 GB, free space = 1.77 GB disk space

Hello and welcome on Microsoft Answers.

I'm sorry to hear that you have problems even after updated to sp3. You did a great job giving details about your system and the errors you encounter.

First of all, the Stop error message 0x07E is usually associated with a corrupt driver. It is also likely in your case since you're able to boot in safe mode. When booting in SafeMode only the basic components are loaded.

Restart the computer as if go in safe mode. When the Advanced menu choose "Disable automatic reboot in case of system failure". Now reboot the computer as if to start in normal mode. You will probably get a BSOD (blue screen with the error code). I would like for you to watch and see if the name of the corrupted file is listed under the stop code. It would be something .sys

Example only > 92 D 89498 address WUSB54GCx86.sys base at 92D7c000, Datestamp 45c04cc9 (Note: you will only have to list the name of the file and not all the codes or datestamp)

If, in your case it isn't we will need to locate the specific problem using the good old fashioned of elimination process. To do this I need your to perform a clean boot following the instructions HERE. To the best of my knowledge, you will be able to use interactive help safe mode with network. If this is not the case, simply follow the instructions in the manual.

This is a known bug 'Dumb MS' and very simple to fix. It is simply that the installer wants to put a bit of a music (the standard windows sound) file in a particular place, and the directory does not exist on some copies of OEM Windows XP home.

You just need to create the folder he wants before rerunning the SP3 update. Not at the moment, I can't find a link to the exact thing, but if these directories do not exist, create them. You must be logged on as administrator user to do this.

The file beethoven.wma wants to be in the folder "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Shared Documents\Shared Music".
    OR maybe "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\My Music\Sample sounds\" on XP-Home Edition

However, the "All Users" directory down may be missing or not have NO defined permissions.
To fix it, right-click on "All Users" and click the option 'security '.

    Click on the security"" tab.

    Click on "Add..." »

    Click on 'Advanced... '. »

    Click on "search".

In the list below, to select multiple click (Ctrl-click) to select:

    Directors
    "Your username".
Click ok all the way out and try again.

Windows Update automatic updates have been lacking on my laptop since October 11 (there were 15 updates, lack of each stop). I found a thread that stated that I could download and install the updates manually and was able to do this for all the updates except for the following two:

2007 Microsoft Office Suite Service Pack (SP1)
-J' managed to download but when I go to install he left the facility shortly after its start
-no error comes when trying to install manually
-error 646 is given when it breaks down during the automatic update

Update for Windows Live Sign - In Assistant (967912 KB)
-error 646 when it breaks down during the automatic update
-Unable to locate a manual download for this update
