  I installed Windoze XP on my ThinkPad T500 but I'm missing a driver.  I have an unknown device in the device called "SM Bus controller" Manager.  After a Lenovo web page, that it's the Intel chipset, which is GM45.  However, no amount of Googling seems to be able to mount the missing driver.  All advice is appreciated.

  It turns out that install an older version of the driver chipset support did the trick.  The SM Bus controller is no longer appears as an unknown device.

  Hello! I have had my all-in-one Pavilion for almost a year now and discovered pretty quickly that it does not play the DVD or Blu - ray discs, despite saying that he should.   If it's showing a VIDEO_TS, so it is read, at least partially, a DVD.  It could be the playback software is missing or damaged, or the disc is dirty or has failed.  To try the VLC Player for free.  If you really want to check the drive to be able to read a DVD, try Imgburn.  If you can get some info of the DVD with either people, report with the results.

  The only available software that you can download is on the dv9700 support page.  The vista software should work on W7 excessively.

  Install Vista using recovery disks, and then create an inplace move to W7.

  I see no Win10 at all driver, nor same Win8/8.1 drivers. There are only Win7 drivers for the card reader, but I don't know if they will install in some form of compatibility mode.

  If I understand your post above you have Bluetooth installed correctly but your device or devices are not installed correctly. To solve the devices without doing is not correct, try the following steps.

  Step 1. Go to Device Manager

  Step 2. Right click on "Bluetooth device"

  Step 3. Select "update driver software... »

  Step 4. Choose "Browse my computer for driver software".

  Step 5. Choose "Let Me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.

  Step 6. Select "Ports (COM & LPT)"

  Step 7. Select "Microsoft" to the list of "manufacturers".

  Step 8. Finally select "Standard series over a Bluetooth link.
