  Check your network connections.
  Also, make sure that the values for server and port are correct

  Have you checked essbase is definitely running, if yes try and connect via Maxl and check essbase.log and SharedServices_Security_Client.log

• recurring problem of missing page file

  Hello

  Please help me with my problem. I bought a new HARD drive and installed windows 7 64 bit on it, but whenever I start, it must create the file of the page again. This is what happened:
  (1) old HDD (drive C :) connected for virgins letter new HARD drive, then it has been formatted using "Disk management"
  (2) new format disk HARD drive letter "B:" receipt
  (3) windows 7 64 bit ultimate installed on drive B: but does not start (on its own)
  (4) old HDD reconnected, then "Disk management" used to make new small 200 MB partition with the letter "s": the new HARD drive
  (5) bcdboot.exe used to make bootable S:
  (6) white new HDD now boots but the page is missing every time windows started and Windows Experience Index cannot take place due to "missing file". "Disk management" always shows the swap file in the partition of S.
  I tried to delete the letter S without success (using the old drive connected HARD and 'Disk Management') and 'disable' the pagefile on S: and creating a to B: but nothing doesn't work or is permanent.
  Please advise me. Thank you

  Windows does not swap files on removable media (such as a USB flash drive). Anything under the drive A: or B: letters is deemed be removable media. It is a vestige of the era of MS-DOS when floppy disk drives came in first!

  Therefore, if a fixed hard drive is labeled in this way, Windows does not create a pagefile on this subject. The solution is to change the respective in C: or higher drive letter.

  Hello I would wait until you try to do the repair first

  Make sure that the hd is just a notebook size hd
  Make sure that the speed is the same thing that you already size is really for you
  before you start to have a complete set of installation discs for the mfgr
  If you only use the os disk you will not load the microsoft embedded key encode any additional programs the mfgr installed or modified specially for your computer model and the party in the form of hard disk, you will need to do it yourself the format should be identical to the new factory
  uninstall all the equipment installed after you bought the computer (you must add once installation is complete)

Since then, we were not able to to connect/start of any application, including the WebLogic Server. In the oracle database, I found a papper «logic of starting web» about me They said that the security file is damaged and I followed the steps to recreate the security file (cwallet.sso) and then all the started application works well except the easconsole. When I try to connect it shows the message "failed to connect".
  
  I would like to say that until the drive became fully all my application worked well. It comes to my development environment. My EAS Server works well because I am able to connect using the easconsole of my production environment.

• FDM 11.1.2.1 cannot connect to Essbase

  I use FDM for awhile but I'm new to version 11.1.2.1.
  When I put my connection to the Workbench, that I am not able to connect to the essbase server.
  
  I get a connection failed target set in the dimension.
  I used the name of the server and the (new?) NOMCLUSTER in the machine target.
  I use the admin account so Hungarian is not in the user rights.
  
  Anyone know what is different in 11.1.2.1 and could cause this problem?

  I had a problem with the administration of BI tool import a cube Essbase on a Win7 PC. I had to manually set the environment variables and everything seems to work:

  ARBORPATH = C:\Oracle\EssbaseClient
  ESSBASEPATH = C:\Oracle\EssbaseClient
  ESSLANG=English_UnitedStates.latin1@binary
  LD_LIBRARY_PATH = C:\Oracle\EssbaseClient\bin

  I also added C:\Oracle\EssbaseClient and C:\Oracle\EssbaseClient\bin in my WAY as well.

  Note that it was deffo the 32-bit client.

  I create the interface to load data from the file to my target table in Oracle. But my file that is located in the Unix server, I created Physycal schema for files technology and everything in creatind the data source in the data model, it is not recognizing my path of the server.

  I would say to copy this file to the local server and develop the interface. Once this done change the file path in dataserver to point the location of the server. Now launch the interface using the agnt running on the unix server.

  I don't understand this error with any other rule. I checked the solution provided in this link

  The rule that I run is

  The functions in the above rule will not be replaced as below

  If I hard code and run, I do not get this error. Help, please.

  The reason why it works when you hard code and why it does not use when the UDA is simply that you should never have a multiple responses in a dimensional cross. Function @UDA returns multiple responses. Although in your case he brings only one I think it fires the calculation. Worse if you are actually bring multiple responses for @UDA that certainly isn't going to work.

  I understand all your corrections above the calcultion to recommend the best possible solution. But at least you understand why you get the error and you have difficulty

  Is it possible that your function @MEMBER returns never really what anyone. You assumed that it works, but maybe it never works and it is only when you add the cross-dimensional operator, the question becomes obvious.

  for example if this does not work:

  Without cross Sun: 'Medium' = @MEMBER () * (("Sales"->"Month1+"Sales"->"Month2"+"Sales"->"Month3")/3);
  I'm not sure but maybe above returns something like #missing * (("Sales"->"Month1+"Sales"->"Month2"+"Sales"->"Month3")/3)

  With Lacrosse dim:
  "Medium '= @MEMBER ()->' Variable ' * (("Sales"->"Month1+"Sales"->"Month2"+"Sales"->"Month3")/3);
  Which I suppose would fail.

  You know what I mean? You could test this theory quite easy.

• HP6510: Connection to Server error-1

  I see that you are unable to use printable cards via the front panel of your HP Photosmart 6510 e-All-in-One printer. I want to help you with this.

  Front panel inserts have been abandoned on a number of models of printers of this year of release. This means that you will not be able to access this content directly from the printer (without troubleshooting can change that). That said, you can always log on http://www.hpconnected.com/ add your printer to the devices tab and then click on Services and printable to access the same content as before. While this is a different interface, you should still be able to plan the print jobs with the same apps that you liked before.
