  I have a range of numbers from B2 - B11 until the G2 - G11. For example:

  I would like to know who among these numbers have occurred and how many times. For example (just to have as an example): number 10 repetitions 5 times, number 13 repeated 3 times, 24 repetitions 9 times.

  Repeats = duplicates.

  I want to know all the repetitive number and how many times they repeat.

  Is there some kind of formula I can use to get there. It would be good to have the sorted result. For example:

  32 repeats 10 times

  24 repeat 9 times

  6 reps 8 times

  5 repeat 7 times

  22. repeat 6 times

  10 repeats 5 times and so on.

  Problem of three steps:

  1. Determine the distinct values
  2. Count the number of times each appears in the table
  3. Sort by value or frequency (or both).

  The first step is easily handled by copy separate Automator Service, a Service of Automator, written by SGIII. A link to the file in post June 21 of the SG in this thread: Re: Analyzing column (maybe not the correct wording)

  After downloading and installing the service, select the cells containing the numbers, call the service, and then select the first regular (ie. non-header) cell to a new table and the dough.

  (The following assumes the new table has a header row, no column header, and you have selected - click - cell A2 before pasting.)

  You will get a list of distinct numbers in a single column (A2 - A34, of your sample and support of note).

  To count the numbers:

  In this example, the existing table is named 'Table 1'

  Enter the following formula in B2 the new table, and then fill up to the last line of the column B:

  = COUNTIF (Table 1::B:G, A)

  Results should be as shown:

  

  Sort the results on column (value) or B (frequency)

  Two types (A, then B) will be put in order of frequency, with values appear the same number of times sorted by value within this group.

  I'm so bothered by the fact that I can't understand that.

  Cell C2 - 10:50

  (How can cell D2 - I get this cell to calculate the difference and say 02:50?)

  I know it's probably one of the most basic operations, but for the life of me I can't understand it. The cells B2 and C2 are formatted for a 24-hour clock. But if I tell the system to just subtract the two, I get "0,118. Everything I find on the forum search goes beyond what I need. Can someone help me?

  Departure and arrival of the cells are in Date and time with Date format: no and time: 24-hour clock.

  

  Formula in D2 (fill down)

  = C2−B2

  

  The results become a duration format, but under automatic (numbers automatically worth this format)

  

  If you wish, you can change the cells of lasting results.

  Hello.

  I seems to have hit a wall with a simple spreadsheet, I'm developing.

  I want to administer the spreadsheet on my mac, but I want to be able to edit the spreadsheet through my people, using ipads. I also want to synchronize the file to the cloud so all have an updated file to use. I'm testing number and Excel. Excel works fine but the numbers I think has a bug. I want to use the numbers for several reasons.

  I've attached a screenshot of a fake spreadsheet which basically highlights what I want to achieve below. The spreadsheet works fine in number for mac, but on the iPad, I have an annoying problem that it may take a more complex formula to make it work.

  Basically, this is how I want my spreadsheet to work:

  Cells C4 - C6 and D6 - D4 are the date cells through which we enter the date in and out. The column days Out (column E) subtracts basically two dates. The return last column (column F) subtracts the Date in the column (column D) with the date in H1. So, I want to be able to sort the F column in descending order (which is the most important function of the spreadsheet, numbers of thugs are so unwanted) the spreadsheet works fine on my desktop, but on my iPad numbers puts a large number of column F (usually 73000 + according to the effective date, see line 7 in the attached photo). Those big numbers seem to be the number of days since the year "0".

  

  Here are the formulas that I currently use:

  Column E: IF (OR(C6=0,D6=0), "", D6−C6)

  Column F: IF (OR (C6 = 0, D6 = 0),"", $H$ 1−D6 ")

  Column H: today()

  I used the function DateDiff but that does not work.

  Is this a bug? Or can I somehow generate a formula that will require to work?

  Fixing unfortunately it's become outside my experience base with spreadsheets.

  Can't tell what's going on, but I get the correct results, recording the same formulas in column d a new document worksheet in numbers for iPad.

  Results in column D are the same as yours. Results in column E are one day less than yours for the first two items (it's always may 20 here) and d 187 to the third point.

  What is the (real, not "scheduled") formula in the iPad version F4?

  I am very frustrated trying to write a simple formula in number. If I have 2 cells, A2 and B2, and I want to know what percentage B2 A2, I type in "= A2/b2. However, when I press the backslash key to divide, a sign more appears each time instead of the division operator and the formula does not work. What is going on?

  Are you course is not its replacement by the division symbol ÷ that may look like to?

  To get the function in a worksheet type '=' in the cell, you want the formula and type "pv", press return. Provide values for each of the arguments of the functions. Have not used the service myself so that's all I have for you. Good luck!

  I have tried to add 2 calculations of time together to get a total time rounded to the minute, but were unsuccessful.

  The 'Time2Num()' function converts a time range for the number of milliseconds of the date of the time for LiveCycle Designer.   Lookup() should do it for you. You create a lookup table and your formula refers to it. Your contribution is the score in the table 1.
