  Monitor screen darkens without warning.  Desktop agents is the control screen to turn black or is the Dell Trinitron monitor at the end of its service life.  The screen stays black for odd times.  Black screen time duration varies from five minutes to 45 minutes.  The display returns to its normal brightness after that which precedes, noted the dark period.  The black sessions initiate the display shows normal after black periods without any warnings.  I'm puzzeled and would appreciate your comments.  Thank you.

  • What version of Windows are you using?
  You can refer to the following steps:
  Step A.
  a. restart your computer.
  b. when the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information tap the F8 on your keyboard key repeatedly until you are presented with the screen Windows 7 Advanced Startup Options.
  c. using the arrow keys, select the desired option of Mode without failure.
  d. press the Enter key on your keyboard to start in safe mode of Windows 7.
  e. when Windows starts, you will be at a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Windows 7 goes into safe mode.
  f. do whatever tasks you need and when you are done, reboot to return to normal mode.
   
  Step B.
  If it works fine in safe mode try performing a clean boot in order to find the cause root.

• Monitor dims on Satellite M50

  Not long after that I turn on my laptop the backligts turn off them selfs, if I close the lid and open it some times they come back on for a random time (usually a pretty short amount)

  The other day I had the same problem but some how I managed to the do stay on. My laptop is a Satellite M50-161, of suggestions, how to fix?

  This is probably a case of the amount of time you have set for the computer, before it goes off the screen (i.e. short time = 1 minute). As you have a Satellite M50, if you are running Windows XP can change these settings in Toshiba Power Saver, if you are running Windows Vista, then change the settings in the Power Options.

• Stop seems to not work properly

  Looks like you see the screen of your iPad Sun just before they would go to sleep, and then he'll light again so it will not go to sleep. I want to quit all applications running on the iPad:

• Constant activity with L7780 wireless

  I have an Officejet Pro L7780 all-in-One connected to my Linksys router wireless WPA2. My computer runs Windows XP Pro SP3 and is wired to the router.

  I can print, etc. very well, but it seems to be almost constant activity communication between my computer and the printer - even when I'm not feeling. I can see the flashing lights on my router which tell me that my PC is in talks with the printer every few seconds. I can see corresponding activity on my PC Ethernet connection as well.

  I have the HP Digital Imaging Monitor running in my region notofication.

  My question is: is this activity of almost constant communication between my PC and the normal printer? I've never seen anything like this with any other printer or printers cable I can get through the router as a network printer shared. If the activity is not normal, how can I get it settled and only communicate when I print something?

  I just bought two new monitors U2415 off Newegg. Looks decent monitors unless they keep dimming themselves. It's terrible! I don't want my monitors gradation by themselves when I try to use my computer! Please tell me there is a way to disable this option. I already went through the Windows settings and disabled 'adaptive brightness. That make me think that there is a problem with the monitors.

  I've never touched the brightness and contrast settings. When you set the it warns you that "change contrast will disable dynamic contrast.

  What a waste.

  I can see my desktop if I shine a screen have screen LCD flashlight and if I plug an external monitor everything works fine.
  Programs and everything works I just can not see the screen on the LCD screen.

• My monitor is dim when undocked but nice and light when it is docked.

  I have a laptop HP ENVY m6 and I've recently updated to windows 8.1 and noticed a problem. My laptop screen fades to himself and becomes a sortof bright / not so beautiful in color. The window border becomes more bright and gross to research as well. When I open the notebook in a maximized window, the colors of the window border and everything becomes more enjoyable and better color quality until I have play it down and go to the desktop or another program. It is really annoying and makes the game of games on my pc not so pleasant.

  Reality: I didn't belive it's a graphics card problem. I have a second monitor hooked up to the color and the laptop runs very well on it.

  Its not noticeable to screenshots of office or records. Just my opinion on the outside.

  I recently updated my computer to windows 8 on new XPS 15 laptop and I experienced a problem where I can not adjust the brightness of the screen. I am running the computer in UEIF mode with start secure active which seems to be part of the problem. Can I adjust the brightness when the dell logo appears, but once the circles appear under the unchangeable brightness dell logo. Nothing else on the system seems to work fine.

  After installing 10.11.5 one of my two Cinema Display 30 '' continues to go dim.   I can force them to get more light but it always just continues to go to the side Sun its own.

  As it has a mind of its own!

• Tecra A9 - LCD display very Dim

  Hi all!

  My Tecra A9 age of 4 years has recently developed a problem with the screen. While using it, I heard a zap and the cut screen. He has not worked since. I was able to plug it into an external to continue monitor to use it even if.

  But I found that the screen is not actually dead, its just very dim. If I look closely and shine a torch above, I can see what is on the screen. Which leads to believe me its something to do with the backlight of the LCD screen.

  Also, I checked, and this isn't a problem with the sensor thinks the lid is closed.

  In any case, I would like to know if anyone has an idea on what the problem is specifically? If so, is the kind of problem that I can fix myself or do I need someone from Toshiba to do for me?

  I agree with Akuma. If an external monitor works, it looks like that the FL inverter is faulty. This inverter controls the backlight of the internal display and even it would be defective you can see the picture but very very dark.

  If think the best would contact an authorized service provider. Guys can order a FL original inverter which is compatible and replaces it for you because the screen itself must be dismantled, and that's not easy.

  If your laptop isn't under warranty gift more worry because FL inverter is not so expensive. :)

• DIMS SCREEN ON TOSHIBA A60

  IF I PLUG A VODAPHONE MOBILE CONNECT THE CARD TO THE PC SLOT CARD THEN BOOT UPWARD, AFTER A FEW SECONDS THE SCREEN DIMS. IF I HAVE A CONNECTED EXTERNAL MONITOR, I CAN VIEW THE BOOT UP ON THIS SCREEN, WHICH NORMALLY TAKES PLACE. I CAN THEN GO AND USE THE MAP OF CONNECTION WITHOUT PROBLEM, BUT THE REMAINS OF DIM LAPTOP SCREEN ALL THE TIME. IF I ALLOW HIM TO GO HIBERNATE MODE AND THEN RESUME, THE SCREEN LIGHTS UP NORMALLY BUT THEN IS FADING. WITHOUT THE CARD IS THE DISPLAY TO THE NORMAL LOGIN SCREEN. I TRIED MODES OF POWER/BATTERY,
  USING KEYS F7 UNSUCCESSFULLY ETC. ANY SUGGESTIONS?
