Unfortunately, only 2 models I see that use touchscreen optics are the T230, T231. You are right, that these products are no longer on the Acer store. I recommend searching online to see if you can offer someone selling these products.

  • Building Firefox MSI with certificate authorities roots parameters ntlm and Add-ons disabled

I have to build a Firefox MSI with CA root installed automatically, some NTLM configured parameters, and modules disabled by default with users unable to make it back on.

I know that Add-ons can be disabled with Firefox running in safe mode. I know how to add the Root CAs and I believe I can change the NTLM settings while monitoring with EMCO (an MSI builder) without issue. Otherwise I know that I can create a config file for the NTLM settings.

However, I am very confused with how I should configure the certification authority root to be a trusted root automatically. I will try to follow up while I add these settings, but I fear that the package that I build is not complete.

I'm completely stumped on how to disable the modules. If it's a subject: config parameter, is possible to lock on: config?

  • Monitor only works in safe mode now.

    Hello!

I got my self in a bit of a mess, trying to change my screen after I broke my tv, I had to dig my old vision pro 700 p. Now I have to change the settings for that monitor and now it says on the monitor "Display Mode not compatale! I suggest to remove the video card temporarily. Connect one screen to video output to uninstall MSI overdrive.

While you're there, you should try to connect two displays to the output video DVI - I and VGA) with cables and converters without the card installed.

  • Fixing additional monitor

I want to fix my HP 2709 monitor to my HPTouchsmart 600.   The monitor has only vga not cables not a usb key, so how can I do?   Thank you

Looks like you will need to get a USB-to-Video feature.

Here is a decent one for about $40 on amazon:

    http://www.Amazon.com/Generic-USB-2-0-multi-display-adapter/DP/B001NG8H9G/ref=sr_1_sc_2?s=electronics & ie = UTF8 & qid = 1334974913 & SR = 1-2 - Spell

When you plug into a USB port on your Touchsmart computer it will basically turn it into a connection to your second monitor.

Some people have commented that plug a USB-to-Video device can cause your tactile feature Act up.  If so, disconnect the USB-to-Video device should stop.

Since you already have a VGA cable, you don't need to buy additional cables, but you will need to use the adapter DVI / VGA provided with this unit I linked to the top above.

    I hope this info helps!

  • Acer G246HL monitor (UM. FG6EE. B01) - screen Type

Just installed acer G246HL monitor and cannot work my way through the display settings, I can get the menu but that's it, how to choose different settings?

There should be buttons on the left of the switch (if not tactile, possibly sensitive to touch). It is without a doubt between a "right", "left", "menu", "entry", perhaps a few others. Menu course should open the menu (that you've probably discovered), while others (especially the left and right) can be used to navigate in the menu. It may take some experimenting (as all monitors seems slightly different), but it shouldn't be too hard. If all else fails, check the manual you should have received with the monitor - which should list the keys; where they are and what they do. And, just to make sure you know, you can use regular peripheral of entry (mouse, keyboard, etc.) to control the menu on screen.

  • Reliablity and performance monitor is empty

I was just playing on Vista, now that I finally got and decided to launch the performance and reliability monitor to see why my computer was using up to 1.6 GB of RAM at idle. Not that she really bothers me or hurts my performance of the computer (after x 64 windows and 6 GB of RAM), but after opening it, I was a little confused because nothing was actually happening. I went to the monitor tab, you press start, but who have done nothing. I also tried to pass through the computer management program, but the same exact results. The work of monitors of reliability and performance, but the main screen, which shows the performance used by individual programs won't give me empty graphs, of the options and outcomes - although lack of. Any help would be great.

This is just a screenshot of what happens:

Well, I did everything what should have made the monitor, at least, I don't think that I did... the only thing that I changed the activation cool no silent mode for my CPU on my motherboard options, so I would not use too be able to leave my computer on all night. The monitor now works... If it stops working again, I'll post, but that seems to have been the cause. (?) It seems weird to have solved anything, but w/e... I do not know... I don't understand. I'll leave it is open for a day to make sure that it is the question. If this is the problem my motherboard is a version of Platinum bios msi k9a2 1.4, so others know how to solve this problem.

  • Monitor HP updates fail with the error code 80070005

I get a message that not load my updates of the screen.  This has been a problem going on since

the purchase of this pc and installation of the monitor.

In addition, I can't run my Bernina on Vista software.  Do I need to buy special software to do this?

    Hello Sharon sews,

The error that you are experiencing with your monitor is an update of the HP driver for the monitor. It is not a Microsoft Update.
See the post on the HP support forum: follow the cutting edge of technology and should help with your problem.
    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/monitors-and-video/update-error-code-80070005/m-p/11754

Regarding the issue with your Bernina problem, it is probably not compatible with Windows Vista.
    You can try the following:

If the program is not compatible, then you try to install and run the program in compatibility mode.

    Use the following steps:

    (1) right click on the program

    2) click Properties

    3) click on the Compatibility tab

    (4) select run this program in compatibility mode and select Windows Vista or other operating system, the program has been run successfully.

You can also try to do a right-click on the setup.exe or .msi file and choose "run as administrator.

    I hope this helps.

Out of curiosity, having the incorrect driver of display problems?
You can try this to force a different driver:

    1. click on START
    2. right click "Computer" and select "Properties".
"3 click on Device Manager", top left
4 expand the category of "monitors".
5 right-click the monitor shown and select "Update Driver"... »
    6. choose "Browse my computer...". »
7 choose "Let Me pick from a list...". »
    8. click on 'Next' and then 'Have Disk... '. »
    9. click 'Browse' and navigate to the location of the driver. If the pilot is only an installer .exe or .msi file let me know.

  • Double U2412m installation on an edition of founders of MSI GeForceGTX 1080

    Hello!

Is it possible to connect two monitors u2412m to the graphics card MSI 1080 FE with two DisplayPort cables. The monitor has a DP, but I don't know how it works. The video card has the following products: x 3 (Version 1.4) of DisplayPort / HDMI (Version 2.0) / DL-DVI-D

How this configuration? What kind of cables/adapters are to be provided?

    Thank you!

    Hi softerthansteel,

You can just use normal cables DisplayPort for touch screens, so one cable for each monitor to the graphics card. Another option would be to HDMI/DVI (for one of the cables because the card is 2.0 and the other DisplayPort, but I recommend you stick with the DisplayPort cables). The card will have no problem to drive the two U2412M for etc. Extended desktop.

    I hope this helps.

  • S2240T monitor with touchscreen and 8.1 Windows

I bought a monitor S2240T to use as a touch screen with an R2 of Alienware X 51 (Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 Ti 2 GB graphics card,), running Windows 8.1. It works, roughly. I can tap furiously several times before it will respond, and it often just not responding at all. I use a HDMI cable, everything is properly connected, and Device Manager shows the monitor as a tactile device compatible HDMI. It's just that this monitor is not really compatible Windows 8.1? This is not intended as a criticism of Dell or Microsoft, the monitor is actually a large screen, I just want to know if I bought the wrong type of monitor for Windows 8 touchscreen, 1, or it is supposed to work better than this?

Quick update: I recalibrate the touch controls and adjusted the settings for a shorter, lighter touch. Now, it works much better on the half left of my screen only. The right hand of the screen is totally inadmissible to the touch. Is - this Windows 8.1 compatibility not or it's just a defective screen? It is very strange, because touch now works fine on half of the screen!

    Sounds defective.

  • Dell S2340l 2 on a graphics card MSI R9 290 Twin Frozr

    Greetings!

As indicated in the title, I have 2 x Dell S2340l and I am trying to understand the best way to connect them to my GPU MSI R9 290 Twin Frozr. The GPU itself accepts the following: HDMI, DP, 2 x DVI - D.

First monitor is simple; I just used HDMI to HDMI. Now the 2nd is a little confusing.

I currently have a spare HDMI cable. What would be the best way to connect my GPU?

I don't care Audio transmission. As long as I don't have full HD @ 60 Hz, which would be excellent.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

The AMD 5450 in PC graphics card will support multiple monitors (VGA, HDMI and DVI).  The 5450 also supports AMD EyeFinity which allows bear monitors of odd size (different resolutions).

You will get best results by using digital connections to the monitors.  It would be DVI HDMI for w2207 HP and Viewsonic.

If you have specific questions about AMD EyeFinity, please consult the ATI/AMD forums.

Good luck and thanks for posting on the HP Forum.
