Monitor 'no Signal '.

Hi all

My HP Pavilion Elite HPE series desktop computer product # #ABU, model # HPE XS622EA - 590uk is no longer gives a reliable result to my monitor.

I performed a system restore and then updated to Windows 7 Ultimate from Home Premium in an effort to solve the problem without a bit of luck at each setting.

I tried two HDMI cables that both use to work between the office and the monitor, the cables still work and of fact so the monitor, I used the HDMI and the monitor cable and connected to my laptop Presario CQ61 to confirm, I also tried using DVI cables with the same results without success.

On this basis, I believe that the problem is a hardware inside my office, I'll check for any failure, loose or broken connections/electronic cards.

When the problem occurred firstly I could connect the monitor with a PC cable and pc adapter DVI, the office was more no shortcuts or a menu bar, where the reason I did a system restore, after restoring the system, I was able to use the HDMI cable but the signal on the screen is quickly become intermittent and then nothing It was the same status with the DVI cable, and it was common to the two HDMI and two DVI outputs.

Just to confirm, that I didn't have problems with the operating system feature, everything starts up fine and I can access all the user accounts, as long as I can see

Anyone had a similar experience or any idea what parts I should check for this problem.

Regards and thanks in advance for any help

Lee

The first thing that comes to mind for me is the video/smart card.  You have a card or you use an onboard video chip?  If you have a video card, check if you have a fan which may not be spinning.  This chips overheat and cause a failure.  You should also look carefully at the video card and check for capacitors that are bulged/rounded. I would also check for do not have capacitors on the motherboard as well.

  • I mess with the display option (win + p), monitor losing signal, cannot bring him back.

At first, I have a monitor, I tried something and end by pressing win + p and change the mode of display for projector only, losing the signal on my screen and can't put back T_T.

Try win + P several times, it does not work. (A DVI connect to display the map - work).

Then I stop, reboot, no signal is returned.

Then I have connected 2 monitors and signal is back, I can change all fashion perfectly. (1 DVI + 1 D - sub - work)

But, when I remove another monitor signal back to the first step. No signal to monitor. (1 DVI works again - not)

So now I have to connect Monitor 2 (even if I don't use it) and there is signal monitor, if I remove one, I lose everything.

Do you have any idea how to fix this annoying problem?

    Fixed it, by removing the cable, put the cable, remove the other insert this one delete and in about 50 times and windows blend and fix it for me * _ *;

  • NB100 - external monitor losing signal

    Dear al,

I started a few weeks ago to use my NB100 as a desktop computer, with a USB keyboard and a mouse and an external monitor. Unfortunately, I have an annoying problem: the monitor sometimes loses the signal and turn black or yellow, or whatever the color (which means it's not exactly 'lose' the signal by the way...) ...

First of all, I thought it was related to the used system, Ubuntu Jaunty (9.04), but the same problem appears with the original version of Ubuntu 8.04.

Note that this problem is apparently related to the resolution because I can switch mode text (Ctrl + Alt + F1) and the signal back.

The only way I found to get the signal on the external monitor is to restart the computer...

Everyone knows the same problem or could one of you try to connect the NB100 to an external monitor and use it for a while, check if the same problem occurs?

    Thanks in advance,

If you let it sit in the BACK or the BIOS, it loses its connection?

Are you sure this isn't a power economy option under Linux?

Try updating the BIOS with the latest version. In my view, there is a BIOS update available :) database Linux

  • HP2311X LED monitor - no signal message

Recently bought the HP 2311 x monitor and it works fine, until tonight.  Because of the duration of inactivity, the monitor goes to sleep;  usually, it doesn't take long to awaken, until tonight.  The display shows "no signal".  Check all cable connections and all are firmly intact; went ahead and unplugged and re plugged the cables, but always, the monitor says "no signal."  Finally, the only way to awaken the monitor is to unplug it from the power supply; but immediately, it displays the message "no signal" and goes to sleep.  Any assistance that you can provide is much appreciated.  Thank you very much!

    Hello

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Community!

Normally, the process of setting up and using a second monitor is transparent and automatic. However, because it's hardware and software from multiple sources, you need to maybe solve problems and make adjustments.

I suggest you to update the display, network and sound card drivers.

    Hi PaulYea,

    1. what type of Installation are you trying? It's an upgrade or clean Installtion?

    2. what happens when you connect to the system now?

If you attempt an upgrade installation, then try the update the video card drivers and check:

    Update drivers: recommended links

You can also check out the link to the manufacturer to download the drivers:

  • Monitor video Signal loss

I'm having a problem with my XPS 8500 and hope you guys can help out me.  I would like to know if my problem could be linked to the assumption of the supply of power, or if not, if you have other ideas.  I am currently waiting for Dell to call me after basically insulting me and claiming my cable DVI is not connected correctly.  I have replaced the cable and am still having the same problem:

My 8500 XPS came with the AMD Radeon HD 7870.  I had the computer for a month and have experienced a problem about 7 times now, the latest being this morning.  My monitor (new Dell 24 ") will randomly lose the video signal.  Most of the time it's the morning after the computer remained all night and the monitor in power saving mode, or when I get home from work.  The system won't mode 'sleep' because I have that turned off so that I can remote access to my computer if necessary.  I also manually told the monitor from the DVI source to make sure that the automatic selection of the source is not the issue.

What's weird (Besides he won't), it's that when I move the mouse or hit the keyboard the screen out of power save mode and acts that it will Brig up to my office.  But he's sitting there for a few seconds and then between new power saving mode. Even more strange because the carillon of PC indicating that it recognizes the monitor is connected again.  That tells me that the computer is not fixed because it sounds too when I disconnect and reconnect the cable from the DVI monitor and the monitor power cable.  I'm no expert, but it seems that my computer itself works (not crashed or frozen), the monitor also works, but the computer does not send for some reason any of the video transmission to the monitor.

It does not it whenever it's on and the monitor is in power saving for a long time, but happened about 7 times in the last month and it is very annoying because I have to do a hard reboot to get back on my computer.  He even did once while I was in the Middle using the computer.

I have a feeling that Dell will make me jump through hoops a lot before admitting or sugessting a bad video card.  Am I crazy to think that is the question?  Reading the forum made me think that it is not a question of power because my computer is not freezing or do whatever it is already asspciated with a power supply issue.

    I appreciate any ideas.

UPDATE: Eu new map video for a week or two and have not experienced the problem again.  I hope it's resolved.

  • Monitor loses signal to start Windows

Windows installed an update on my 32 bit Windows 7 PC around 03:00 on May 16. (Coincidence?)  Later the 16th when using the computer, the screen went black.  The computer that is running again.  After several restarts and repairs still more attempts to my computer refused to restart even in safe mode.  I determined that I had a video card problem so exchanged in one of another office.  Able to restart in safe mode, but no signal to monitor once Windows started.  Determined the graphics cards to be omitted if purchased and installed a new card PNY with processor Nvidia GTX-650 and 1 G of memory.  Starts fine, then loaded from disk PNY GTX drivers and restarted.  Watch the lost signal as soon as Windows has started.  Now I can boot into safe mode without problem, but in normal mode as soon as Windows starts screen loses the signal. Then I swapped the two monitors between computers and the problem remained with the computer.  The problem existed on the PC when using the video card from another machine (GEForce 8400) so it seems that the map is not the problem. I have consulted this PC with another using office to distance and attempt to reinstall the video card, reinstall the drivers from the card using windows drivers and those from the Nvidia site, reinstalled the drivers from the monitor patch, run Mr. Fixit, and other Microsoft repair facilities and searched without any positive result Microsoft Knowledge Base.  always have the BSOD.

I think I found the problem (s).  The original of the graphics card went bad at the same time as an update of Windows.  My computer's power supply was insufficient for the new graphics card I have installed.  Perhaps as a result of the graphics card bad some Windows files were apparently corrupt.
I installed a bigger PSU and reinstalled Windows, then did the updates of Windows gazillion 180 and reinstalled my applications.  Everything seems to be good now.

  • Don't boot to desktop-Boot computer ups always come with "no input signal" for monitor

Thanks for the research on this issue.  So first of all, he could start after a few attempts in the end goes to the blue screen error at approx. 5 min. I started this path several times that in "safe mode with network" to try the many suggestions of repair for two days. " At this point, it's freezing just at "windows is loading files", but probably will go to blue screen error. Boot ups always come with "no input signal" for the monitor and signal switching in the Help menu for 5 min periods I've mentioned and then fails or "monitor going to sleep" occurs.

The error messages rec'vd: corrupted image, corrupted file and header file check sum does not match the sum of computer control. The recommendations of the screen blue: disable the BIOS memory, any material current or drivers and check disk space.

Some tent to fix: memory diagnostics and it showed 'no problem', checked monitor on another computer and it works, in a session of 5 min a download to 'fix' Microsoft via a USB problem like "search of windows crashes" but was 'unable to set', a few other attempts would show the "windows installer has stopped working" preventing any action.

At the present time, am unable to start even with advanced at F8 options.  It's HP Pavilion 10/2007, with the help of HP. Its on a wireless network with a netbook, Blu - ray, occasionally a cell phone that works on windows live but none presents as a device.

    Hello

    ·        You did changes to the computer before the show?

    ·        What is the exact error message that you receive?

Method 1: Remove the external devices except the keyboard and mouse and try to restart the computer in safe mode and check if you can start inside.

If you are able to boot into safe mode then try a restore of the system it and check if it helps solve the problem:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/system-restore-frequently-asked-questions

Method 2: I suggest you do a system recovery options system restore and see if it helps:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/what-are-the-system-recovery-options-in-Windows-Vista

Method 3: If the system restore does not help then do a startup repair and check if this solves the problem.
