Hello

  • Have you received an error message?
  • How long you have been faced with the question?
  • What were the changes made before the problem occurred?

I recommend you perform the clean boot.

Put your boot system helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.

See the following article in the Microsoft KB for more information on how to solve a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:

  • PE 3 freezes and crashes computer

I did several short films with PE3 and have never had and the difficulties that I could not overcome--until now.  Everything has been the same for this project as before, i.e. a video captured of my camera MiniDV, no problem. Now when I edit, PE3 freezing - sometimes 15 minutes in a project, sometimes just after I restart and begin to make another edit.  Above all, it seems to happen when I click on a clip and read in the small popup window. It freezes and the audio is on a loop of 2 seconds. The entire computer crashes at that time here - even not a Ctrl-Alt-Del will have an effect.

I tried to load the DVD PE3 and me by clicking the repair files option. Twice, in vain, in fact.

If I have to completely remove the program PE3 and reinstall, I lose all the clips and what I edited so far on this project?

Thanks in advance for help on this frustrating problem.

Audio loop looks like a driver problem. I agree with Paul on the updating of those first.

  • ENVY 750: Computer crashes

My computer crashes after a short period of time while browsing on the internet.  I use internet explore as my browser.   I get an error message saying that page Web does not.    My mouse works, but I can no longer access the internet.  I have to restart my computer.    The same thing happens if it goes into sleep mode or if I close all Web pages.    I have to restart in order to access the internet, regardless of what I do.

It is an old computer a month with 10 pre-installed windows.    It was working fine & I'm pretty sure, he started doing this once I got an automatic update.     I tried to use HP support & it detects no problem and everything is updated.

Hello Jam200: what's new? It isn't there something wrong with your computer. Only Microsoft Internet Explorer and Microsoft keeps changing their websites and adding so many ads that Internet Explorer freezes when trying to load in all those ads. Time for switching browsers. I myself have four installed browser. Google Chrome is very fast and download very quickly. This is configured by default. https://www.Google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/desktop/index.html Fire Fox is reliable, a bit more difficult for the lower load things however don't be used. https://www.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/new/ My favorite and least trouble is Safri does not attack at all by adware or malware and I like him because he has options to view your Web sites as windows 10 computers screen see with the Alps. I don't know if it works well on Windows 10. Oh it is said that it can be installed on Windows 10. The low Safri load is a third party now so be careful of the software of the attachment. Apple.com used to provide load down they withdrew their support section down to make room for their upgrades of computers the software load. http://en.softonic.com/s/Safari-10 http://browserwin.com/Safari/ My Internet Explorer did the same thing even when Add ons are off and the browser history was deleted and I have only the software minim naked running in the background and no virus and malware is present on the computer. But you think that they were. All started when Microsoft came out with 10 windows and when they started the upgrade of Internet web sites. So now you can choose your favorite browser and surf the web with freezing no more. Enjoy your new computer. Microsoft will eventually fix their bugs in their websites and Internet Explorer. You're welcome frrw.

  • Random OS freeze or crash after the Upgrade of the Sierra

Since the upgrade to Sierra, I started experiencing random freezes or crashes, the operating system.

In general, I keep the mouse control (connected via trackpad), for at least a certain period of time. However, only the movement is possible - applications cannot be selected, there is no reaction to the clicks, etc. Attempts to pass via cmd + tab don't produce no result.

I tried waiting for the system to respond. She finally slept, then crashed with a wake on the lack of sleep.

The other answer is a hard reset by holding down the power until button a restart is forced.

I ran disk in rescue mode utility, and he reported no problems with the disk. I've yet to try some of the more esoteric answers as reset NVRAM and so on... which is probably intended. I saw a report that said this problem was happening with El Capitan, and there is no resolution. I don't know if it's the same problem carried over, or a new.

I got exactly the same problem you describe, on an iMac of retina of 2014. I've updated all non - App Store applications I have thought (and removed dozens of them), disabled launch points, unplugged my USB hub, downloaded EtreCheck (very useful application, incidentally) and road to combing through reports in the Library/Logs folder. On a Reddit thread on the problems with the Macs wake from sleep after installation of Sierra, someone suggested using the following command in a Terminal: kextstat | grep - v com.apple

The command shows you what non-Apple kernel extensions are running in the background. Extensions of core apps such as Airparrot, strap, and duo caused problems with macOS Sierra. In my case, officer was running a kernel extension - then I deleted this app and went through my library/LaunchAgents and records of the library/LaunchDaemon, remove all items launch left by home and others deleted apps.

EtreCheck reports said that so-called SIMBL caused several accidents. So I got rid of this, by following the instructions on the site SIMBL.

Here's the problem: even after all these efforts (and each variant reset, I could think of) troubleshooting, nothing has changed. My Mac always has exactly the symptoms you describe, upon awakening from sleep. Every time.

In the end I just gave up and restored my iMac to its State, 4 days ago in a backup using Time Machine. (It took 12 hours). With Dropbox, I didn't lose all of the work I've done in the meantime. So, I am now running a stable El Capitan, with an understanding to why people wait a few months before installing the latest OS updates.

Sorry I can't offer more useful troubleshooting options - but perhaps some things that did not help me could help you anyway? Thanks for posting: it seems that the Sierra has been a pretty smooth update for most people, so I guess we're just out of luck?

  • Keyboard and mouse freeze on Satellite L355

Occasionally, immediately after startup or the awakening of the day before, the keyboard and the mouse freezes as soon as the keyboard is used.
The mouse works before the Frost, but will stop as soon as the keyboard is used. For example, the computer works fine and I can launch a program, download email etc, but as soon as I use the keyboard then it freezes.

A USB or wireless mouse works in this mode, but not the mouse computer. On-screen keyboard also works with the external mouse. Unfortunately, I don't have a USB keyboard to see if it will work also.

    Any ideas?

In my view, this problem could be linked to the question in your other thread:
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums//message.jspa?MessageID=172295

Maybe all these laptop strange behaviors are related to the question of the motherboard
Therefore, as suggested in the other thread:
Get back in touch with the guys from the ASP. They replaced the mobo twice
Maybe it was not good enough.

  • Satellite A100-225 keeps freezing and crashing with the new HARD drive

    Hi all

I have a Satellite A100-225 with a 100 GB SATA Hitachi drive I int it that recently started showing bad sectors. Then I bought a Hitachi 320 GB SATA II drive to replace it. I tried the drive and it was recognized right away, so I didn't need to change the SATA speed. I ran the restore a disk installed newest. The problem I have is that the computer keeps freezing and crashing with the new drive. It takes a lot of time to load up when turned on and there is a noticeable to untermittant delay when you drag the cards around solo.

I tried to run the Hitachi drive test and it comes back fine. I also tried to turn the SATA speed of the drive down from 300 to 150 via the firmware, and although I saw a slight improvement, it is still not right.

I talked to Hitachi and they say that he could not be 100% compatible, so the problems. Someone at - it else sucessfully set up a replacement for this notebook drive and if so what make and model. Has anyone else had simular problems?

    Thank you

Years ago, I've updated yet more former Satellite M70 with SATA HDD (270 GB if I m remembering well) and everything was fine.
In my view upgrade with SATA HDD normal shouldn't be a problem. Do not SATA II because it will not work faster.

I can't say for sure, but there must be a compatibility problem.

Let's see if someone else had better luck with the upgrade of the disk on the Satellite A100.

Have you checked this forum with advanced search option? Maybe you can find some old NET on upgrade the HDD on A100.

  • The mouse freezes at startup properly off. Mouse only thaws and works correctly when I hold the power button to stop and turn back.

I just got a new Inspiron 1545 computer 2 weeks ago and it works fine but I got a problem for the last two days where my mouse will freeze after that I stopped it using the stop option. When my computer starts you can move the mouse, but after a few seconds, it freezes, and you can't move the mouse but the keyboard works. I try to restart the computer with the option to reboot from the start menu and when it starts up to the top of the mouse freezes still. No matter how many times I try to stop or restart properly mouse unlock not. It only works if I stopped it by pressing the power and then switch on again. Any ideas as to what I could do to fix this?

The sad truth is that the mouse freeze problem is back. I searched the forum for other solutions, but so far without success.

I am currently using MS Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500 and just to make sure that the problem is with the mouse, I inverted this mouse on my other laptop which works also on Windows 7. Mouse freeze problem is replicated, which never happened before for my other laptop.
Conclusion, until Microsoft is able to solve this problem, I opted for Logitech. I bought a Logitech M235 wireless mouse last night and keep your fingers crossed that the mouse freeze problem will disappear.
Life is too short to be stressed more mouse freeze problem.

This is the result of not not more likely USB ports. You can try to update the drivers of usb device, but if the problem there is not a lot you can do otherwise than to buy an expansion usb card. You can disable usb error reports to stop seeing the error.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/329632

    1. open Device Manager

2 expand the Bus USB controllers section. Are looking for, then
Double-click a host controller that has either the word "Universal" or
    'Open' in the title.

    3. in the Properties dialog box, click the Advanced tab, and then select the checkbox 'don't tell me about USB errors ".
Note: If you deselect this option, all other USB error messages will also die.
