Mozilla is supposed to warn me that my post has received a response?
I posted a survey here last year and realized 7 months later someone responded to my previous post. I never received an email notification that my investigation has responded, so I guess my question remained unanswered. I came here today to post a new investigation and came to check on my previous posts, which is how I discovered the answer.
All the boxes are ticked in my settings, but it is not an option to receive an e-mail notification when someone replies to a message. There is only one option to "send emails to private messages", but this isn't the same thing. It is quite a glaring omission if this support site does not notify the Member that their message has replied. Otherwise, how are we supposed to know? Having to check regularly to this site? It is not very friendly for a company that is very easy to use. Thank you.
As the creator of the thread (owner), you should automatically receive an email when someone posts a response.
You should see that an email Get updates button in the sidebar next to your question if you subscribe.
You can also check the items Watched (list of witch to manage).
He has had problems lately with the sending of notification by e-mail that require a restart of the server.
I don't know if you were touched by what I does not use these notifications and so cannot say.

Get 'error 5' try to (re) install Lightroom 5 - I noticed that this issue will receive no response from others who have already contacted Adobe (is there no solution?) - Windows 7
The first: try the solution here: setting up error 5
The second: when your license is not active for this installation. Make sure that you are connected to the account where you have your active subscription. Log out and return to: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/sign-in-out-activate-apps.html
In any case, I would try to get rid of the first message in the first place.

I have windows Vista laptop, installed IE9, service Pack 2
Hello
You cannot uninstall or reinstall Windows Defender in Vista.
It is part of the operating system that you have been explained.
As you don't say what your problem is with the Defender, this can help you:
If you use Norton, AVG, Avira, Microsoft Security Essentials, McAfee, etc. the default action is for Windows Defender must be disabled, that these AntiVirus programs have their own Antispyware Applications.
There is nothing to worry.
Using both programs at the same time can cause system conflicts, etc.
If you are using one of the above AntiVirus programs, this Information from David O - Support Engineer shows you how to manually activate new Windows (do not take into account information from uninstalling; not possible in Vista):
"Go to start, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services. Look for Windows Defender.
Right click and select Properties , ensure that Startup Type is automatic.
Once modified, click apply and OK.
Quit and restart your computer. Check the back take the same path to confirm that Windows Defender has started"
.
If you want to have additional protection against malware using the version FREE of Malwarebytes AntiMalware:
http://www.Malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free
And for now, change startup Vista programs without using Defender, use one of these methods:
"How to use MSCONFIG in Windows Vista"

Or the program Autoruns for FREE:
"V11.21 Autoruns for Windows"

What to do if you got a warning message of * onlinegmz.com
as your phone is being hacked and you need to download a program to protect the data of the phone and photos to be hacked?
This occurs whenever you try to use safari (this is what happened to a friend)
< link published by host >
It's a scam.
Go to settings - Safari - clear the history and data from the Web site.
If that doesn't work, reset your device. This will not erase your data stored on the phone.
- Press and hold the sleep/wake button
- Press and hold the Home button
- Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.
Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings
To be on the safe side, you can restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.
Take a look this Apple Support article: use iTunes to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.

Why content poster that my post has been resolved when he doesn't?
In my content / author I see this:
But the issue is NOT resolved.
In the forum of Yosemite, filtered for any unresolved question, I see this:
The forums have been pretty difficult to navigate before they have been reworked. They are even more difficult to use now, and those of us with eyes > 40 years may not be happy with the extra-light melting and metadata of 50% gray.
You as the owner of the thread being the only one that can mark the mail address you must have done it.

Received a call claiming that Microsoft Corporation has received my laptop error messages
The call came out of an unknown number and they asked me to execute commands on my laptop and that reciting my CLSID it checked they were Microsoft. I didn't feel that this call was legitimate, so I hung up but I am worried, because they actually recite the correct CLSID but my virus, malware can't find anything suspicious on my laptop.
All suggestions, advice.
Thank you.
This is a phishing scam. Never give out information on, or allow access to your machine.

AVG warned me that the memory usage is very high and I have to restart.
Worms using Win XP. 3 and your suggestion, I've updated Firefox to worms. 7.0.1 and I still get this message that firefox uses too much memory, 300 MB or more.
Since I upgraded to 8.0, I started to receive the warning of the AVG. The matter of fact is that my FF has been the 7.0.1 high CPU consumption first, I was monitoring the use of memory and I don't see much of a difference in usage between my 7.0.1 and 8.0. That's why I ignore these warning because it is probably a new notification of AVG that was not available for FF 7.0.1. But each user is different and will have different results.

I recently had to have my rebuilt computer caused by a virus. Now I have Mozilla Firefox with ABP and see that Firefox has a program's built-in phishing and viruses. Do I need a program additional anti-malware? If so, the one that works best with Firefox? Seems put more you on these things the you have more trouble.
The anti-phishing protection and malware that Firefox uses checks against a list of websites that have been reported to contain a form of malware and then alerts you. Firefox itself does not scan files to see if they contain viruses/malware. You still need a form any anti-virus and anti-malware protection. You must also use a firewall.
As for which is better, you are likely to get many different answers, it's a topic that generates a lot of discussion. A product one person loves will be hated by someone else. I use Microsoft Security Essentials as well as Windows Firewall.

The all-in-one printer is only a month after the warranty and has suddenly stopped working. It can print but when trying to now the scanner displays a message warning saying that it cannot scan copies or faxes. Can anyone help? I don't want to pay the amount of $25 per phone call to hp asking them to help in case they cannot correct by phone.

Hey carlya,
Wanted to check on how was the question. I also recommend a tool of diagnosis provided by HP, called HP print and Scan doctor. If you have not done so, then I suggest you download and run this tool.
This tool can be found by clicking here.
I would like to know how this happens.

Original title: scam?
Recently had a phone call from an origin of the State of New York - the person identified as a Microsoft employee, and she warned me that my system was constantly sending through Microsoft error messages - asked me to press on "Control - Windows - R ' and other tasks... natch - I refused.
Anyone know of this type of scam?
What is and what is final potential?
Fake phone calls to technical support
Such unsolicited telephone calls are almost always a common scam. Do not let them give any info, do not give access to your PC, not give them all the money and do not go to all the websites that they suggest. One moment.
Please see:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/security/online-privacy/msname.aspx .
Microsoft does ever not requested for telephone calls of support or security.
(such persons may use names other than Microsoft as well)

I want to remove an annoying message when connecting. I disabled the fingerprint reader, because it makes my games to the tab down whenever I accidentally touch the reader. And it is placed "below" on the left side of the keyboard (keys WASD, if you understand me) who thought that might be a good idea.
Now I get these messages of connection warning me that the fingerprint is not enabled, every time I started the computer, make me when entering my password to start over from the first letter, so that my password is messy (if I had the password: 'password' that would make me write pass) , and then the popup would come, that I have to click down, and then if I write "word" it originally make my password 'wordpass' test, if you understand. So it's a manufacturer 'fault' I'm trying to fix. Any tips? Is the way to activate only the reader of fingerprints to be active during the connection and not when already connected. Or how to remove these popups WARNING when connecting.

Today, I received a phone call supposedly from Microsoft saying you receive many messages from my computer problem and they gave me the address of the site above to verify the call. They said that my computer has a virus, and they wanted to remove the virus. I'm really uncomfortable about this supposed Microsoft contact. They are part of Microsoft, it is a legal company of Microsoft, it is a society of Ammyy
Hello
of course, it's a SCAM
they want or money on your part for programs without value or make an identity theft on you to get even more money and get your internet banking passwords and credit card information, you get allows you to download the software to 'fix' or 'test' for your computer
read this:
http://www.Microsoft.com/security/online-privacy/msName.aspx
Microsoft has none of the unsolicited telephone calls to help you fix your computer
In this type of scam cybercriminals are calling you and claim to be of Support technique Microsoft. They offer help with your computer problems. Once scammers have earned your trust, they try to steal and damage your computer with malicious software, including viruses and spyware.
Although the law enforcement can trace phone numbers, often authors use pay telephones, disposable cell phones or stolen cellular phone numbers. Better avoid fooling themselves rather than try to repair the damage afterwards.
Treat all unsolicited sceptically telephone calls. Don't provide personal information.
If you receive an unsolicited call from someone who claims to be from Technical Support Microsoft, hang up. We do not have such calls.
If you think you might be a victim of fraud, you can report it. For more information, see: what to do if you think you have been scammed.
