[MSD] High CPU load of Java

Hello

One of my colleagues has a problem with the CPU load high caused by the process of java under the wrapper, it uses the latest version of TMS 13.2.2 with TMSPE, the server running Server 2008 R2 Enterprise, 4 GB RAM, 64-bit java (9) was last updated was applied, to no avail.

The process of java on my TMS system runs at 0.54% avg, the only difference I see is the amount of RAM, its user base is tiny (80 users).

Any suggestions on what he can try to diagnose the problem?

Hi you use findme?

You can check if the address of the video template is the same as the address of device model?

In the diagnostics of tmspe can also see if the importation of the aircraft has a work «»
Circle on it as his performs a constant import?

If you do not use findme, disable it on tms tmspe settings and restart the tmspe service. The cpu is now stable?

  • 100% high CPU load and memory usage

    Hi all

My company bought a new appliance IPS 4510 and after initial installation, I see that the CPU load and memory is 100%. The device is not in a production network. Is this normal or there is a hardware problem? Enjoy a Counselor about it.

    Concerning

    Christine

    Hi Damien,.

It is actually normal behavior for an IPS sensor.

To measure the actual load of an IPS sensor, you will want to monitor the "percentage load treatment" of the analytical engine that processes all inspection processing for the sensor.

You can view these statistics by using the command 'display the scan statistics-engine '.

Also, the sensor running version 7.0000 E4 5,0000 E4 (or later version), you can check the load percentage value Inspection displayed by the command "Display inspection-load" in its place.

    Hope that answers your query.

  • Network - high CPU load problem

    Hello

I've updated the 2.6.24 kernel 2.6.26 (under Debian Lenny 64 bit) on the host computer. And I have a problem with the network communication.

I have 2 Virtual PC (Windows) on the host Linux (Debian 64 bit). Each virtual PC to fill only one network adapter.

I have VMware Server 2 for 64-bit, my PC has Intel Quad Core and ethernet card 4 on the card mother Gigabyte EP45-DQ6.

When virtual PC start communicate via network - load cpu in virtual card pc go to 40-50 percent, after the stop communicates on the NIC - cpu load to go from 1 to 4%.

CPU host increase load when virtual pc communicate too.

My linux use r8169 for ehernet adapter.

    What is the problem?

    Thank you for your response.

    Soory for my English.

Reduce the numer vCPU one per guest. If you have a multiprocessor/kernel HAL, you will need to change this, but give it a try without changing that, first of all.

  • High CPU load of FSX

I have a FSX Acceleration. Whenever I run the FSX, the CPU always hit at least 60% (sometimes even at full load) on all 4 cores (I changed to use the 4 hearts somewhere in the config). For this reason, my CPU temp is around 70-95°C during my GPU temp is not 55°C. My question is, is there a way to reduce the CPU usage to 50% or less for the entire game? Is it possible to move the CPU to the GPU still load?

  • High CPU load on Oracle when executing select on TT

Hello. I have grid cache: 2 instances of global TT + Oracle with async dynamic writing group of cache on a single table with 1 million entries. Each instance of grid cache is located on its own host. I start the execution performance test only on instances of TT SELECT queries. Now, I see that the process Oracle starts consuming a lot of time CPU. According to the documentation (if I understand correctly) all db readings are performed between instances of TT. That fact Oracle when I run select TT? In case that we to scale horizontally by adding instances TT Oracle doesn't become a bottleneck?

    A few points:

1 data movement between grid mnodes requires that we update some informaiton in oracle (via the replication agent). Thi is probably what is causimng load you see you on Oracle.

    2. a load of work that creates a lot of data movement will not run and will not well. This isn't a good way to use the grid of the cache. You should 'soft partition' workload
so that the connections on a member of the grid work preferentially on a (mostly) disjoint subset of data compoared connctions to members of grid President.

    3. If you plan to work intensively with grid you hould reallly use the latest major version (11.2.2) not old enough now 11.2.1. There has been many improvements,
    bug fixes etc since 11.2.1.8.0.

  • BT stack file TosBTMng.Exe generates 100% of CPU load

I am also facing the problem that the Toshiba Bluetooth Manager (TosBtMng.exe) very often starts a loop and causes a 100% CPU load.

This has happened with older versions of the Toshiba Bluetooth stack and the current version (5.1.0.12).

The affected system is a Tecra S1, BT-Modul and Windows XP SP2.

BT battery installation went well and the laptop starts succesfull while BT is enabled. I also checked for hidden COM-Ports and other tips in this forum, without success.

Blocking seems to occur at different times. Sometimes just after are restarted, by clicking on the tray icon of BT with the right button of the mouse. Then the context menu is shown all too the white box, no entries. He can also try to connect to a device already associated. If I kill the process with the Task Manager, I can restart and he continues to work for a while.

As found in another thread here, I enabled the registration of the API of the Bluetooth Manager and found the following when connecting with the Nokia PC Suite for my mobile phone:

    Call the 00042519 21:55:05 [7208] (TosBtAPI / PCCSTBTP) BtCreateCOMM()-> BtCreateCOMM2()

    00042532 21:56:17 [7208] [TosBtAPI (PCCSTBTP)] call BtGetRemoteDeviceList2()

A new COM port is created successfully (COM23) and a few seconds later the CPU of TosBtMng load goes up to 100%, but no API calls are made. And if you wait long enough the phone are connected and data can be transferred. However, very slowly.

Probably because of the high CPU load a next port COM (COM24) will be created some time later and this process is then repeated once again:

    00042740 21:56:47 [7208] [TosBtAPI (PCCSTBTP)] receive WM_COPYDATA / fCloseAPI (BOOL) = 0

  • VI causes CPU load after several days of running

    Hello

I have a strange problem. I have craeted a control test VI bench and it runs on five computers, five test of control systems. All PCs have almost the same hardware, same card mother, same processor, etc.

Normally the CPU load is around 50% when I run the VI, but to a PC, CPU load goes up to 85% after several days (maybe a week) market continues and the PC is almost tied up - VI execution becomes very slow (10 times slower) and the mouse moves only very slowly.

I have first thought that the PC has a problem, but the problem disappears as soon as I stop and restart the VI!

I don't even have to put an end to LabVIEW - only my VI and then all is well again.

The problem does not occur in the other four PC, but I can't say for sure.

The Task Manager indicates that LabVIEW causes CPU - use swap file load is small.

Is it possible to analyse the causes of high CPU load?

    I use LabVIEW 7.1 Professional

Operating system: Win XP (SP 2 or 3 that I can't remember)

    P.S. I have no loops without waiting-functions.

  • Strong DCNM Server CPU load

    Hi all

Recently we have installed some DCNM (.exe) worm 7.1.1 on the client VM and DCNM monitors the status of devices 6 N5K etc. However the customer found that CPU DCNM vm server load is high and always 100%. And there are 16 vcpu and 8G memory live allocated to the vm. It's still slow and 100%.

The windows task, we can find a java processor is always more synergy of CPU and RAM. We tried to restart the virtual machine and the value of virtual memory.

Any suggestion? Try to upgrade to 7.1.2 or open a tase of tac?

    Kind regards

    Drew

    Hi drew,

This link is for postgres aspiration which is a necessary maintenance activity that must be performed every 2 weeks, even if the performance is good.

    • Is this VM DCNM shares resources with other virtual machines?  VIEW release notes, a VM DCNM should have dedicated/no shared resources on the host.
    • VIEW control the 5ks as LAN or SAN devices?  If SAN only, then you can clear the DSL service from the services window windows without affecting the control of SAN devices.  Sometimes of high CPU usage is bound only to the service LAN or SAN.

Also, an upgrade likely will not help.  Poor performance will be through after the upgrade.

    Thank you

  • Tecra M2 - stop hard on high CPU (turns off with no BSOD)

Experienced stops consistent when the CPU is running at full during a little while.
-J' mean 'stops' complete power cut with no blue screen of death where all is lost and the computer must be restarted manually.
-by "high CPU", I mean when the processor locks to full use such that when you insert a column in a big Excel sheet with errors or if you want a large number of files and you open a video from the network or when you run a registry scan and antivirus analysis at the same time.

The problem took place regularly for a few months and I can now make a case with greater predictability. Using the hardware monitor suite 'Everest', it seems that the problem occurs when the temperature of the CPU is located at 99 for more than a minute or more.

This happens with some, but never when batteries run - then attempts to force the error, it will not be stopped if the power cable is released just before the drop point.

In the cases of the problem, it seems to be a small error message appearing only a fraction of a second before the death of the computer.

Each reference forum and help that I read would suggest the problem is related material and that the chip or the motherboard is overheating and need replacement. While the laptop is almost 18 months old, I bought a new ' everything except the screen and HDD "earlier this year, and was not prepared to accept the explanation without more tests.

Kantonix Linux works very well and the CD starts seems to tax the processor as much as the same events that kill for me under XP.

A few weeks back, I installed Windows XP on a second HARD drive in the Bay of hotswappable and noted the installation seems to work pretty hot computer and he died during the process. It has experienced no difficulties for while but, a few days after moving the HARD drive reinstalled in the primary position and after you have reinstalled a lot a lot of applications, the error started happening again.

Last night I caught a few fractions of a second before the death, the pulling power and stop the process and allow me to see the error message (as mentioned above):

-first message came from "TOSHIBA Power Saver" saying "a fatal error occurred at x 06" (not sure about the last bit) ".

-second message was "THotkey.exe' saying 'could not load powrprof.dll.

-monitoring of several hundred cases of the second message.

Because of the error messages, I was not able to get a print screen.

Solutions or even on ideas that would be very appreciated!

    Hello

According to your explanations and the information in your ad, I think that the problem is related to the software.
You wrote something about energy saving. This Toshiba utility controls the speed of the CPU and the use of cooling modules.
I think that this request could be responsible by the judgments. Try reinstalling this utility.
In addition, check the configuration of the unique power plans. If you work only with battery energy saver using another mode of power supply as working on AC.
I think you could check these consumption patterns and configure it.

Verification of the cooling module is also not a bad idea. Maybe fans cannot work properly because of the dust and debris inside the books.
I use the vacuum cleaner to clean the fans. CA? s an easy way to make it free of dust.
But if you get it, you must be careful.

  • Is short boot fail reason (error 1000-0146) Office of glitter and high cpu?

Dell inspiron 6000. Windows xp professional sp 3. Three weeks ago, my computer started loud beep on startup and sparkle of the desktop icons. The touchpad has stopped working for a while, but most of the time which is fixed. I installed malwarebytes' eliminating about four Trojan horses and tried to update all the drivers. I did a restore of the system about 3 times. When I ran a test drive, there was a failed test short boot 1000-0146 error. When my app icons start to Flash my cpu jumps to 100%. Pressing any key usually stopped for a bit. Is this a compatibility issue with my software or the failure of short boot is the cause. Help!

    Hi Nutmeg30,

    • Did you the latest changes on the computer?
    • You have security software installed on the computer?

Learn more about the test of startup failures see link below on the Dell site and check if it helps.

Pre Boot System Assessment (PSA) Diagnostics and Error Codes for Dell computers

    http://support.Dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/KCS/document?docid=DSN_300428&isLegacy=true

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the flickering and high CPU utilization issue.

I suggest that you configure the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

See section to learn more about how to clean boot.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

  • Flag 23: Dealing with "high CPU usage." How can I reduce this?

Hi, I have a HP Pavailion 23 which has been given to me as a gift. Therefore, I don't know. All I know is I'm a player who likes to play games based on Java and possibly watch the videos at the same time, when I try to do the lagg is important. I get notifications saying that Chrome has high CPU usage. I read something about changing my BIOS settings? I'm not sure.

I would appreciate help on this. I have dealt with the hand of single task Forcers and I find it quite annoying.
    Thank you!!

  • HP mini5102 interruption using high CPU after sleep / resume

I have the same problem described recently (without solution) on the Forum of Support HP Business. After resume from sleep, 5102 HPmini consumes constantly about 30% of the capacity of the CPU even with the system at idle. Sunny (0-3% CPU use at idle) before going to sleep. As Roderick Laird (copied below) I've already got rid of wireless assistant that caused a different problem of high CPU usage (100% CPU use even before you sleep / resume, now fixed by an update of the version unless served for those who want to keep the wireless assistant).

Consumption of futile processor by 30% after standby/sleep is due to material interruptions (revealed by Sysinternals Process Explorer). I understand that may be due to problems such as several drivers attempting to control a device (for example, after a faulty update). But I have no idea how find the offending device or drivers.

My guess is that many owners of this model simply did not notice the problem and they areassuming the poor performance is due to the atom processor netbook. You must use Task Manager or performance monitor to view CPU usage high, and process Explorer to find it hardware interrupts.

If anyone has found the cause / solution?

HP, help to resolve this issue please--nobody wants netbooks HP fall into the category "do not buy" due to persistent problems with the futile CPU usage. The HP mini 5102 is the flagship model!

    Ref:

"Author subject: HP mini5102 interruption high CPU usage after standby Roderick Laird 24 March 2010 04:03:03 GMT - I see of other HP5102 users having problems with high use of the processor of the Wireless Wizard operation amok; I avoided this by disabling the corresponding services. But one problem remains. The system works beautifully/effectively from a cold start. However, if I go back I think that interruptions are consumes about 35% of the cycles CPU. Not something that I want to pass battery on. I made sure that all the drivers are the latest versions according to the HP support site. I also tried disabling the obvious drivers that might be wrong (wireless, ethernet, audio, non-touchpad mouse)... »

Update the Intel AHCI 9.6.4.1002 driver (iastor.sys) removes the futile CPU usage after sleep from 30% to 20%. This is not in the drivers of HP, but is available at Intel. Subsequently the chipset driver updates might solve the problem. In the meantime:

Disabling in BIOS Drivelock completely eliminates the problem!

Apparently users who want a computer that is useful after sleep / summary to know somehow ignore the advice of stern of HP in the BIOS that Drivelock is recommended for safety.

It cost a lot of time to resolve, with no whatesover help to be published by HP. My consolation is that by systematically eliminating all the bloatware and other services-waste of unused resources, pilots and scheduled tasks automatically loaded on the system (while trying to find the cause of the CPU / interrupt use) I now have a mini 5102 (SSD) that:

    * Cold boots Win 7 Pro 32 in less than 30 seconds (including wireless access)

    * Stops in less than 8 seconds

    * Beds / back in 1-2 seconds

    * Consumes less than 600 MB of RAM at idle

  • Windows 7 update - slow download, svchost high CPU usage

I have a problem downloading by using the Windows Update application. This problem started after January 2016.  In the past, the request of update seems to work without the use of the svchost high CPU and with a reasonable download time.  There is usually a delay until the download has started, but then they ended quickly.

I have 4 computers: 3 running Windows 7 Pro (CPU - Intel dual, i5 & i7) and 1 running Windows 7 Home (Intel i3).  If the problem is not related to the CPU hardware as best I can tell.

My update setting is 'check for updates but let me download and install ".

The Windows Update process includes 3 steps:
    1. identify the important and recommended updates for your computer.
    2. the selection and download updates.
    3. the creation of the restore point and of the installation, the selected updates.

My problem is step 2, download the selected updates.  This happens on all 4 systems, and I do not expect a download to be this CPU load.  The download time is too long on all systems 4.

My online search for answers has been frustrating, but several posts said search for viruses, malware and Trojans.  I ran Malwarebytes (free), Windows Defender, Norton Security and ESET (online) on systems and no objects are found.

My most recent experience involved my Lenovo 7847 system (Intel dual core). Monday, May 23, I checked the updates and there were 15 updates important and 3 optional updates listed.

After reviewing the updates, I chose the 15 updates and started the download process.  The svchost.exe that is associated with the update happened to 45-60% CPU usage, update status showed no size or % finished and the task manager - network or explore the process did not show any activity download for a long time.

Finally, after about an hour, the update showed the download size and the % downloaded.  Svchost usage remains high during the time of whole download.  Once the download is complete, the restore point was created and updates have been installed, who also took some time (but it would be I/O CPU & Drive dependent).

The download status has not changed during most of the time that the download process is running.  The Task Manager and process explore both show very little network activity up to that very near the end of the download procedure. There is therefore no real indication that the process is blocked or just turn very slowly.   It almost seems that the Microsoft servers are overloaded, they delay the download for some reason, or the process svchost and sub-process fail to create good handshake with the server for download.

    My Questions:

    1. Why is svchost usage so high when nothing seems to happen?
    2. Why does take an hour or more to download the updates?  These aren't the huge file sizes, and this attempt to update was almost 2 weeks after Patch Tuesday, then Microsoft servers should not be overloaded.
    3. Why is the situation unchanged for so long during the download process?
    4. most important, what can I do to change this situation?

Thanks in advance for your help.

My 'update problem' seems to have changed.  Checking updates takes a lot of CPU resources and a lot of time.

We will leave well enough alone for now. [It took 3-4 hours for MU download/install updates of June on my Win7 boxes].

But please bookmark this thread. If the behavior persists in July - and especially in August, respond to this thread instead of starting a new. Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones battery drain with High CPU (v6.0 Bundle 3049) because of the net.rim.io.impl module

    Hello

    .

I have improved my Torch (9800) a week ago and have been noticiing battery drain issues.  The problem is NOT persistent, but is most of the time that goes well.  I am currently on OS v6.0 bundle 3049 (v6.0.0.706, Devils 6.6.0.246).  My Wifi and Bluetooth are always TURNED off.  Only by using the Bell network, for which I have all 5 bars available.

    .

I investigated further and found that the Blackberry system software was running with more than the processor - usually in the 1970s high, 90 same high.  And this corresponded over the hours until the battery was dead.  I have since deleted all the apps I have suspecpected - such as the Office of Nice and LinkedIn.  But the problem persists.

    .

Battery pull was made several times, as I checked and there is no update of the OS.

    .

Now, currently, only the Basic apps are loaded (Alt-Back): home, BBM, phone, Messages, Borwser.  All other applications are closed or exit.

    .

Further study in the modules of the system software of BB, I found that the net_rim_io_impl, is her consuming ALL the CPU.  I don't know where/what this module does - so I'm not clear on this service within the BB I can disable (OFF) to get rid of the issue.

    .

Please see the following screenshots, the CPU for the system a little, drops as Options use a part, otherwise it goes back 90 years, if left alone: -.

And in the system software of BB: -.

    .

Please help and guide, with either a fix to the module, or via a workaround solution, in which some service can be stopped or a setting can be changed to avoid this battery drain.

    .

    Thank you!

I think it could have been resolved in a second thread.
