Multiple gateways by node

Is it possible to add a node to two or more gateways in the MAX software, as to enable the node to go the best route (or both) to avoid interference that may occur only at certain times?

It is correct.  MAX can control several targets of network OR. The 9791 appears like any other goal of network OR.

    Hello

I have intractive activities inside the circuit split/join multiple gateways. Some intractive activities are required to be triggered in parallel with other activities intractive.

Sometimes I need to created 100 copies, but sometimes only 20 copies, and some of them must be parallel.

Is there anyway to dynamically set the value. If this isn't how to determine the values for the maximum number of concurrent copies.

You're right about the setting of "Maximum" property... "put you inside the Studio. This is the value at design time.

  • Several VLANs with multiple gateways

    Hello.

Got a SF500 in Layer 3 mode, 5 VLANS air conditioned and have their own subnet.

    VLAN 10 = 192.168.10.0/24

    VLAN 100 = 192.168.100.0/24

    VLAN 200 = 192.168.200.0/24

    VLAN 201 = 192.168.201.0/24

    VLAN 202 = 192.168.202.0/24

We have a gateway on Vlan 10 (192.168.10.1), which all VLANS can see & access (because of intervlan routing), and this currently allows for vlan 10 for access to the internet.

I want to vlan 100 to be able to access the internet through this gateway, although other VLAN (200,201,202), uses a different gateway located on the vlan 200 subnet.

Of course, the gateway must be in the subnet.  I can't assign the default gateway of a machine on vlan 100, the gateway ip address on vlan 10.

If I point the virtual interface default gateway in its subnet (for example, 192.168.100.254), he also does not know how to get to the internet, even if she can see the entry door (I can access a web page it hosts).

    So the question is this:

Traffic 100 VLANs can be routed on the SF500 to use the gateway on the vlan 10? (outside the default gateway of the switch).

If this is not possible with the SF500, what do I need to make it work?

    Thank you very much.

    Hi André,.

I understand what you want to achieve, so in your case, we need a switch with PBR (policy based routing) capacity that allow to match the IP source address and action hope then the IP address of the gateway.

This feature is not implemented in SMB product, but for devices of the company, we have this feature as Catalyst 3750

  • Adding nodes to a bridge outside NOR-MAX

I am currently invovled in a project that involves the use several gateways and nodes to monitor temperature, condition of equipment, etc.  The system will be implemented by people experienced in LabVIEW, but end users are not.  Is there a way to program the LabVIEW software or use other other than the NOT-MAX means by which end users can add a node themselves through the interface developed for them?

    Thank you!

    Hey, Garrett,.

Without the 9792 or LV 2010, there is no programmatic way to work.

I did go ahead and establish a project that I put together showing how to proceed in 2010 with NOR-WSN 1.2 and a 9792.

Recently, I had buy new HP desktop Core i3 with 4 GB of memory & installed windows 7 32-bit Professional on this PC operating system. I have set up the two LAN cards on this PC with a different static IP & gateway to connect to internet and my Local network.

    Hello

When multiple default gateways are used in TCP/IP configuration on a Windows computer options, connectivity to computers on remote networks may be lost. On multihomed connected to disjoint networks computers, static routes can be added to the routing table to get connectivity to remote networks.

Windows computers can be configured with multiple default gateways. When an inactive gateway is detected by TCP, he can direct IP for default gateways to the next gateway in the backup list. This switch can occur when there are multiple gateways configured for the same network card or when different default gateway addresses are given on multiple NICs on a multihomed computer. A switch is triggered when TCP has tried half of the time to send a packet through the current default gateway TcpMaxDataRetransmissions.

After the passage, all IP traffic from any network adapter on this computer to remote networks will be sent to the gateway currently selected. On disjoint networks, this can lead to the loss of connectivity and subsequent termination of active sessions with computers on remote networks connected through the first gateway. This is because the selected gateway may not be aware of the other routes managed by the first gateway if routers Exchange routing information to each other.

If the dial-up gateway is unreachable or inactive on the network, it loses connectivity to all remote sites. At this point, this computer from a remote network ping fails to get a positive response. Similarly, no ping to a remote host from this computer will give a request error. This behavior is normal and in line with the specifications of the TCP/IP.

  • Several payment gateways - anyway it would be Possible?

So, I realize that the payment gateway is integrated in the admin of BC. However I have a customer who would like to host multiple websites under the same account (for the display of the content on each site). The problem here is that they have different catalogs in their store of e-commerce that are filtered through different companies.

Other than hosting site e-commerce elsewhere, one of you gurus possibly have an overview of how this could be achieved?

And if this cannot be achieved with BC, can anyone recomment an ecommerce solution external although I could integrate with the rest of sites hosted on BC?

It is not possible to use multiple gateways for payment within the same site of BC. Skin the site designs the same and what you can do is to create a new site for every payment gateway. This would give the end user the impression of being on the same site, but there is no way to deal with the multiple payment gateway transactions in a single payment transaction. I don't know this for a fact, but I'm confident enough, it would violate the terms of credit card companies and is not complaint PCI. I bet that you won't find this feature in the one off to reserve solutions ecommerce for this reason alone.

Most home networks should not have two "default gateways', and in particular a single NETWORK card should not have two of them.  Did you do that deliberately?  The second default gateway is connected to your virtual machine?

Are you connected to the server or if you are on a domain network?

I suggest you follow the instructions in the link to the configuration of a default gateway on a network:

  • NIC Vista 2 goes to 2 networks

Hello. I have a Vista PC that needs to go to two different networks at the same time. I tried assigning the base10 IP to a network card and it took, but later, that a single network is visible. I think that putting two network adapters in the machine might work, but can not anyth8ing on site (!) of Microsoft web who responds to this idea. Any thoughts?

You need multiple gateways for several connections.  Check out the following:http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Configuring-multiple-gateways-on-a-network.  If you want both on the internet, see below.

    Compliments of Jack, MVP http://www.eggheadcafe.com/software/aspnet/33498231/windows-vista-with-2-nic.aspx:

You can configure two network adapters on a computer to be on two different networks. However, if you want them both to go to the Internet you need two independent Internet connections. An Internet connection with a single IP address cannot feed two.  When I mentioned two independent Internet connections, this means two modems and two routers (Firewalls). If you have only two cables going to the same router may not work.

    ============================================================================================================================

Since you don't explain the internet aspects of both networks, I don't know if the link will help you or not.  But you don't mention having two modems or routers so I suspect you are trying to do in using a single, and as Jack said, it's just not possible.  It can be done, but you need additional hardware and a different internet connection.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

And NO, Microsoft does not Vista DVD for you to work with.

Microsoft is no longer sell Vista.

    Try online: Newegg, Amazon, etc.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.

Read all the info on the website on how to create and use:

It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.

And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.

Borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.

I tried a vcs as a gateway to lync

Finally, I have some errors in the VCS status page

VCS is alive but LYNC gives errors for me which is unknown failure.

    Any thoughts?

    Kind regards

    Hello

According to the VCS-Lync deployment guide:

Be careful when you design your deployment that you do not have multiple gateways by field of Lync, is more than a field of Lync by gateway. There is a walkway VCS (or cluster) in one area of Lync. It is possible to configure several areas Lync, as long as you have an independent gateway serving each. You cannot configure several Lync areas with only one gateway Lync VCS serving all the. You should avoid to configure multiple gateways to serve a single domain of Lync. With this deployment, calls for a video endpoint to a different video endpoint that is called through its area of Lync will get routed via Lync, rather than directly through the collaboration infrastructure. Duo video, end camera control and possibly encryption and the video quality, users could lose.

  • How to query Oracle, MySQL and MSSQL data?

For an environment with Oracle 11 g/12 c Enterprise edition, MySQL community edition and MSSQL 2008/2012 5.7 stanard/enterprise edition, is there any problem using DG4ODBC to query the data for all 3 platforms?

    There are other free alternatives?

If the queried data are mainly contained in MySQL or MSSQL, it will be more efficient to query MySQL or MSSQL?

If so, any suggestion of how to do it in these platforms? I know that MSSQL can use linked server, but it is quite slow.

    Hi Ed,

Ok!   I still think a bridge 'instance' as a partner to ainit .ora file but still useful to be aware how others see these things.

Your installation is that we have our test systems - multiple gateways - dg4odbc, the dg4msql, the dg4drda etc. - in an ORACLE_HOME.

    Kind regards

  • ESXi 5.1 separating SAN traffic w / VLAN

So I learned this week that vSphere 5.1 VmKernels no longer support multiple gateways.  This causes me some confusion with how to properly configure my for my SAN.  I thought it was best practice to separate traffic, so I created VLANS separated for management and for data traffic (SAN).  Since they are in different subnets, they have their own front door.  When you try to configure it I started having a few problems before I realized that the gateway that must remain the same.  I contacted VMware and initially they said gateways may be changed before finally stating that they were incorrect and that there may be 1 door entry.  The answer I got on their part at this time there is that I don't in fact want to split the VLAN and leave the front door on my vmkernel for only san traffic they stated that both that my VLAN was correctly setup that vmware if you just know where to send data and it wouldn't matter.  When this 'magic' was not they told me I must have a problem of vlan and they couldn't help me.

Could someone give me an idea as to what the best method is to do this?  I found an article that says you can manually add a second gateway via the CLI, but when I tried I received an error message indicating that the route existed.

    VLAN 18 (172.27.18.x/24 w/gw 172.27.18.1) - management

    VLAN 40 (172.27.40.x/24 w/gw 172.27.40.1) - data/SAN

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Greg,.

    Here is an example of configuration using VSS;

-vSwitch0 = management is on VLAN130 (port, no VLAN ID configured access)

-vMotion = vSwitch1 is on VLAN131 (port, no VLAN ID configured access)

-vSwitch2 = IPStorage is on VLAN132 (access port, no configured VLAN ID) - L2 subnet gateway disabled

-vSwitch3 = comments Networking (ports of junction, tagging VLAN)

In this example, management and IPStorage be separated on different VLAN and for more security VLAN IPStorage has the gateway disabled (so traffic can be routed elsewhere).

From the storage point of view, simply presented in your storage space (NFS exports for example) on the same VLAN as your port IPStorage kernel VM (or VLAN132 in this example).

    See you soon,.
