MX40 and LAN - card cannot browse the internet

My name is Gbenga Ajayi of Nigeria. My problem is that I just bought a new Toshiba MX40 series and I ve have problem with him any time when I try to use to navigate. I was able to ping on the local host that is ping 127.0.0.1 and is sponsor and it can also ping another system in the same network, but based on an IP address, it can send packets, but does not receive any package, to the initial, it receives little I am stopped immediately.

But what I did the last time I gave the system an IP address, ping he and lunch the emote gateway i.e. I ping 10.0.0.1 and two packs of package and send the receiver was fine .but now my question is that what really the system but the people around me told me to throw the disc of recovery on it.
Please can one tell me what to do in others to use the system to navigate?

Dear Gbenga

Y at - it in my opinion, it is very important to identify any problems with the functionality of the network card. In my opinion, you should try to connect your device to the internet and check if the card works fine.

On the strength of your explanation, I guess the problem is configuration LAN. Please try to check the firewall settings and properties of LAN connection. If you reinstall the recovery DVDs unit the device will be installed clean. If you have only one partition data because all the data saved on the HARD drive will be lost.

Good luck!

I recently found myself working with ASA 5505 and implementation so that remote users can connect through the VPN. In this part, I managed to cope. Users can connect and authenticate you. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

I reinstalled the operating system on a friends computer laptop A100, installation of WINXP pro.

After I installed, I noticed that a lot of missing drivers so I scoured internet and downloaded most of them. The problem I have is that the ethernet connection seems to not work properly. I installed the driver on the toshiba site and hooked it up to a test network to my polytec.

On this network to test an internet connection is available, but the laptop cannot browse the internet! I can ping other PC networking on mobile Internet sites and ping but cannot browse their IE. Other network PC cannot ping the laptop automatically obtained IP address.

    Any ideas what's happening?

    Hello!

Have you tried another browser like Firefox? I don t use IE because Firefox is much faster and I can't get a large number of modules.

In addition, you should try to disable the firewall on the laptop. Maybe it s blocks the internet connection or the internet browser.

Last but not least try to use a static IP address. You can change this in the TCP/IP settings.

    > access inside permit tcp host XXXX list any eq www

    > access inside tcp list deny any any eq www

    > ip-list access to the Interior for a whole

.. now configure the ACL inside with a statement of the Group of access interface that is

(NOTE. IN THE FIRST ACL ABOVE XXXX IS YOUR IP OF ISA)

In addition, after you set up the ACL make sure to a wr m (write to memory)

  • Vista Home Premium gives the message "linked to limited accessibility" and I cannot access the internet.

I have Vista Home Premium and trying to connect to a WiFi spot, I get the message "linked to limited accessibility" and I cannot access the internet. I understand this is common for Vista and there is a fix for this problem, but want to make sure that I get the right one and can't seem to find anything referring to this issue on the Microsoft site

    Hello

This problem happens only when connecting to a particular place for the WiFi?

You can follow the suggestions and check out them.

    Method 1

    You can read the article.

Message when a device on a Windows Vista-based computer uses a network bridge to access the network: "connected with limited access".

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/930517

    Method 2

    Disable IPv6.

Try to uninstall IPv6 on all interfaces, the removal of virtual cards of IPv6 and reset the TCP/IP stack. To remove the IPv6, go to the properties for each network adapter, and deselect the check box next to the Protocol "Internet Protocol version 6 (TCP/IPv6), which will turn off, or select it and click on uninstall, which withdraw power off the computer.» Then go into Device Manager and remove any 4to6 adapters, adapters miniport WUN or tunnel adapters.

NOTE: You should do this for each network connection.

    Method 3

    Temporary disable your security software.

    Disable the antivirus software

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/disable-antivirus-software

    Enable or disable Windows Firewall

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/turn-Windows-Firewall-on-or-off

Note: Software antivirus and firewall can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attack.

    Method 4

I understand that you are having a problem with your WiFi and wanted to help you!

You are trying to access WiFi through router?  If you are connected to your wireless network, but cannot access the internet, then the problem may be with the router.  Check that the router is connected to the internet.  If you have more than one router, then you can ensure that you are connected to the correct router.  You can also try unplugging the router for about 30 seconds, and then reconnecting it.  Please consult the following document, as it can help solve the problem for you:

My computer keeps restarting, against all odds, while I browse the internet, I have advised me to try to change the memory card, but I do not know how to determine the type of card, I need. I have a Mirus counter top, and I'm running Windows XP SP3.

    Hi paulipaul,

You can take any memory card (RAM-Random Access Memory), but make sure that it should be less than 4 GB. For the shoring of RAM to the motherboard you are using, refer to the manual of the computer.

Hi all, Im currently new on Toshiba laptops, just got my first one. But this question is for my brother. There an A120 laptop with windows xp. His laptop is generally very well outside of slow down after browsing the internet for 5 minutes of the ish. Initially he sails very well, but then all of a sudden slowing down, but it's not just the internet, the laptop everything slows down, turning off takes a lot of time just like any other process. The internet works fine on all other devices, IE. other computers laptops, xbox, mobile phones etc. His ISP has confirmed that there is no problem with the internet.

Anyone have any ideas? He has already reinstalled XP

Who knows what's wrong there. Install CCleaner and clean OS every time before you turn off laptop.

Might be time for a clean installation of the new OS if your brother use it for years.
You know, we don t know what is preinstalled on it, which is running in the background and what personal configuration on this machine.
