  Edit: windows is 64-bit windows 7.

  The solution was to install windows 8 (bought a copy of the professional edition x 64), and then install the drivers from the site. Now everything works as expected. Must have had a problem with the windows 7 x 64 and x 86 drivers... Well, now it works.

  @shauni: tried with borderlands 2, could get 11-13 fps MAX during the game with graphics maxed out regardless of the diet plan, but as soon as I switched to windows 8, the amd video card started working and I now have 40-50 fps (which for me is UBER OPTIMAL). I always get 11-13 fps if I unplug my laptop well.

  SOLUTION OF THE SHORT VERSION:
  Install windows 8 (x 64 in my case)

  NOTE: the drivers on the site are buggy for windows 7 x 64 / x 86. Date today: 8 October 2013.

  I have the same problem.  My internet connection seems fine.  I can connect to the internet on my laptop to the company, xbox 360, roku and my cell phone, but not my laptop from Sony.  When I check the connection it says its fine but when I run a diagnostic it says "the DNS server is not responding."  I checked with my cable company and that they 'refreshed' my signal, but it would not connect.  Even than your wi - fi network or directly with an ethernet cable.

  So my action more used in Firefox was using the middle mouse button to open a new tab on a link.   I installed Windows Search 4.0 installed on my machine yesterday. I added my file & Outlook to search settings, but it doesn't seem to be indexing at all. If I manually start indexing it immediately says "Index complete.", but it does not change the result of the search.

  Finally, I would also add 2 network drives to my data indexed for search, but I think this requires an add-on. Once I get Desktop Search works perfectly, I want to do this. Any suggestions are welcome.

• Scanner not working not, fax all or nothing

  I bought the HP Color laser Jet Pro MFP M177fw ago, for about 2 weeks then we are difficult to receive faxes.  It sounds and then send a message saying no fax not detected, this is problem no. 1.  And problem # 2 is that I can't get the scanner to work... it worked very well 3 days agao now I get a message indicating the failure of the connection.  Printer works perfectly fine, so I know that my connection is good... just can not get the scanner to scan!  Not finding this user friendly machine at all!

  I now have problem to run the Flash Player on my old PC exe: absolutely nothing adds during the launch, or when clicking or using the XP Start menu launch.

  OS is Win XP SP2, Firefox is ver.43xx. I had this problem with old FP versions, not now, with the other exe files that can still be started normally.

  It started with FP update ver.21. : last month, Launcher "flashplayer21_ha_install.exe" (1 166 KB) has not begun at all: no hourglass, absolutely nothing to add. However, other applications has continued to launch / run correctly.

  After reading more on the Adobe website, this was easily solved by downloading the full installation program "install_flash_player.exe" (19 475 KB), which began normally.

  Very well, I got a solution even I didn't understand everything... So what, it worked.

  But now I have the same problem using ver.22, either by using Launcher "flashplayer22_ha_install.exe" (1 166 KB) or the full installer for version 22: "install_flash_player.exe" (19 551 kb): both start at all, and at the same time to run all launchers for other applications!

• Acrobat 9 Pro (Master CS4 Suite) works not at all after installation

  Now with the own drive, I reinstalled my software including Acrobat Pro, and everything seems ok except my Acrobat Pro. I uninstalled and reinstalled just that as uninstalled and reinstalled everything and it still doesn't work.

  I can have you do now is go to "programs and features" in the control panel and see if the Media Smart software is there. for example "HP MediaSmart Webcam' size should be about 80 MB and 'HP MediaSmart SmartMenu' size about 2 MB.

  I can't believe it! I bought a PhotoSmart D110 and it worked fine for 3 months. Now, I'm very frustraded. Whenever I need to print something from any of my computers at home wireless, I need to put the printer off, wait a few minutes and turn again. Then I print 4 pages and I need to do it again. So annoying!

  I've tried everything! Reinstalled the drivers on my MacBook. Reset the factory settings on the printer control panel. Update the firmware of the printer. Update my firmware wireless (which is a Linksys EA-2700).

  I don't know what else I can do about it.

  I did research on many Foruns on the internet for some tips and there are tons of people complaing to the same problem, not only on this model, but also a whole bunch of other HP printers.

  And yuou know what... There is no response from your HP.

  Common CV, you used be better! What is going on? Not sure how to solve the problem of your customer! You sell a "disposable" printer that only works for 3 months?

  What should I do? Buy another printer? If this is your solution, do not expect that I will be your customer again!

  Rembember that 'no response' is the worst response you can give to your customers!

  I tried to do, but it did not work, however I found another way and until now my wireless works. Finnaly.

  Here's what I did on my Mac.

  (1) on my system preference, I clicked on the icon 'Print & Scan'. I remove my printer by clicking the (-) signal. Just for the record, I didn't uninstall the HP printing software, but clearly myself as I got the latest version (as you mentioned in your response);

  (3) I printed my HP printer (directly) config page on the Panel. To find the IP address of my printer.

  (2) I click on the (+) sign of the signal, and then I clicked on the option "add a printer or a scanner. On the prompt box, I chose the "Intellectual property" tab (with a globe);

  (3) on the address field, I inserted my IP address of the printer (the same that I found on the page that I printed on my printer).

  (4) HERE IS THE MAGIC: on the Protocol drop-down list there are 3 options: "IPP", "LPD" and "HP Jetdirect - taken.

  YOU MUST CHOOSE "HP Jetdirect - Socket" - it's Important for a configuration of the House, okay?

  (5) waiting-I left empty

  (6) name = name of my printer 'HP Photosmart D110' but you can add what you want

  (7) location = you can leave it blank. I added "Home".

  (8) use = assigned automatically

  (9) i clicked on 'ADD '.

  (10) may be another box will ask you to select a driver to associate with your printer. In my case, I choose "HP Photosmart D110 series.

  I have run windows 10 on a hp G2 z book. I tried to disconnect and creative cloud back in. I rebooted my machine. Did not help.

  I can get the stock very good site and I can download comps in my libraries without any problem. It; s just that I can't find in in applications.
