My computer has no validation after a power failure

I had a power failure while my computer was on when power is relit, the computer starts normally, except I now get a black screen and the message "you may be victim of software counterfeiting.  This copy of windows has failed the genuine Windows validation"when I click on the GET valid, he returns with"enter a genuine Windows product key. The product key used to activate Windows on your PC is a volume license key that has been blocked by Microsoft. "I want to know is how they came up with that, when I have a license key individual stuck on the side of my computer with hologram, both on the sticker on the drive.  When I click on fix it, the only options I get are to buy windows 7.  My XP Pro system worked very well during the five years I've owned what he and I did not intend to upgrade to windows 7, Vista that came on my laptop left a bitter taste in my mouth.

  • Slow start, "Frozen Desktop", MS C++ Runtime Library - all after a power failure fast

    Our House had a short cut (2 seconds), and immediately after that the computer has restarted, the computer was a moment very unusually long to restart. When its many programs spinning if clicked on, and in some cases, the computer would freeze (for example, I need to click on "start" and it would freeze on the screen) or get the runtime error above (device trying to open firefox). And 'My Computer' is simply not open. I tried to restart in 'safe mode' but that did not work or the other. The computer is managed by a surge protector and have us get out before without any problem, so I hope it didn't fry the computer completely. Firefox and Norton won't work (they turn). "Freezes" the taskbar and the start menu opens, but with no icons (view through the desktop). 'My computer' opens but then charge (green bar through the movements of the top of the page), but then will 'freeze '. I don't seem to be able to start in "Safe Mode", but it will try again.

    Thank you for your help. Unfortunately, the problem was not resolved. The computer still load at a snails pace (close to 40 minutes) and programs spin when I try to open at least 60 seconds, or that they no longer answer. Now, I hear a real hard drive clicking sound, so I guess that some how the hard drive is physically damaged (if I have a surge protector - so I don't know how it happened). I plan to completely reload Vista (wipe everything) as a last ditch effort, but I'm guessing that won't matter either, like her that perhaps the HD is made.

    Hi Bjarn

    Have you tried to create a new site, and see if it crashes too when opening. If it works fine, your file may be damaged .muse.  In addition, where was located, as the network drive or local file drive?

    Please share your with us .muse file to study? Please send it to [email protected]. If your file is larger than 20 MB, you can use something like Adobe SendNow SendThisFile or Dropbox. Don't forget to mention the link to this forum thread in your email so that we can identify the file.

    In the Apple Menu, select "restart." A window will appear as shown below. Clear to re - open the windows when you log in. You can now cancel the reboot, unless you want to check that the system works as you would when you restart.

  • How to check remotely that a computer has been restarted after Labview LIFE 2011 has been installed on it?

    Hello

    I'm deploying an application Labview 2011 on 150 XP machines in various plants worldwide. Currently, all the machines still have an old 8.21 Labview runtime (+ old DAQmx). I sent a procedure to my colleagues in the plants so that they fit the new runtime environment (+ new DAQmx). For my part, I built a code to check my PC if a certain registry key is present on the PC 150 who told me that the new run installer or not.

    The key I found is:

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\1C5E801AE54C4AE43A59FC169F95CA28]
    "ProductName"="NOR-DAQmx Configuration 9.3.5 Support MAX"
    "PackageCode"="61EEAEC207A28A842B3341ED6809453D."
    'Language' = dword:00000009
    "Version" = dword:0923 c 001
    "Transfer" = DWORD: 00000001
    "AdvertiseFlags" = dword:00000184
    "InstanceType" = DWORD: 00000000
    "AuthorizedLUAApp" = DWORD: 00000000
    "Clients" = hex (7): 3A, 00, 00, 00, 00, 00

    It works well but it does not say that the PC has restarted after the Setup has been run. If I do not have to restart the PC and try to run my Labview 2011 executable I get a long error message (NIDAQmx not registered,...).

    As it seems difficult to get the properties of a key to know when it was installed I was leaning rather to check whether or not a certain DLL (?) was recorded. But it's just a vague idea, and I don't know how to set it up.

    I enclose the code that I have and that works well, but cannot differentiate between Labview 2011 installed runtime and PC restarted or not.

    Thanks for the help

    Christophe

    You could look for a file that would be created as part of the installation to determine date/time Setup (ini or another file created as part of the runtime support installed)

    Combine that with a request of availability of the station and you can calculate if the station was longer than the time since the installation. Not perfect, but should be possible...
