Have you tried to change the battery?
Is this a new system? If so, call HP and tell them your problem. It should still be under warranty.

  • USB mouse and keyboard stop working after I have install Windows Update KB2913431

After installation automatic Windows Update KB2913431 (Win 7 Enterprise), the computer seems to work very well, but my mouse and keyboard stop working.  The option of automatic repair after that start with F8 does not work.  He said that the error is "unspecified".

The fool is that it has created a constellation of intermittent problems when I try other options to get these devices to function after the update.  The questions I will of unpowered USB ports, grateful Windows and install the drivers for USB devices, but then do not recognize their (and are not), random BSOD, restore points invalid system, random boot failure, which causes discs to randomly stop working properly, closed randomly , à... I think you get the idea.

I think it must be a driver problem.  I passed through the Device Manager and uninstall all hidden devices.  I have updated the drivers for everything that has an update available.  I tried to disable all, but Microsoft services at startup and in the list of "services".  I've always been unsuccessful; However, when I can get it to successfully restore to a point before the update (none of the automatic restore points work correctly) it seems ok.  It will sometimes seem to work after I applied the update, but then go haywire shortly after.  I am convinced that it is not a hardware problem, given that the prior update restores (when they actually cross without failure) work very well.

I went through countless articles in the knowledge base and tried all the suggestions I've seen, other than registry cleaners because I had a bad experience with this earlier.  I tried so many things that I lost count and the memory of some of them.

I reached point is never install the update (an option that I prefer not to use) or creating a clean Windows install on another drive (an option that I prefer not to use, but I'm a little more friendly to).  I already started to back up files to prepare a clean install, but I reach out one last time before I pull the trigger.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions you have!

The keyboard and mouse bluetooth suddenly stops working.

Given that this only happens when I'm online I make this question to the FireFox support.
I have the latest version of FF:

I installed the new BIOS and Shipset, but that does not change.

Suddenly, the keyboard and the mouse do not respond and I have to restart manually.

  • Re: Equium A200-15i: Wireless stops working, so wireless adpater visible

My netwrok A200-15i wireless stopped working by itself during the download.

Internet works via ethernet. Wireless physical switch is on, but the indicator does not turn on. No wireless adapter appears in the "network adapters" in the system (only the Ethernet card is visible).

During the installation of the Atheros driver, receive a message that the hardware is not connected.

    Help, please.

Looks like the wireless card is dead the light that lights up with the switch is wired and not software driven.
Even if it's very weird for the light to malfunction so there maybe a small chance of the card somehow has detached itself internally.
I'm not familiar with the A200 I know that some earlier Toshiba models allow you access to the wifi cards since they are optional.
For less hassle, buy a USB dongle or cardbus, but check online first that some brands good markets suffer from range and a poor performance.

  • MS Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 300 - no longer works

I have a laptop with Vista as my current program.  I have a Microsoft Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 since the first day Wirless.  The mouse was working very well!  I use computer a day and the wireless mouse no longer works.  Green light on the USB key is on, red light on the mouse is on.  I'm in the peripherals - mouse and it shows active.  I even remove the USB and it shows then it isn't here.  Here's my question - why the mouse will not talk to the USB port and works now?  I even went out and bought a different MS Mouse and it didn't work either.  All known manufacturing, programming, software between MS and Vista mouse problems?

Perhaps Windows does not recognize the mouse as real human interface device. If you go into Device Manager, highlight unfamiliar material, choose Update driver and then manually point it on either

    C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\mouclass.sys
    C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\mouhid.sys

... did allow the mouse to install?
