MS Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 300 - no longer works

I have a laptop with Vista as my current program.  I have a Microsoft Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 since the first day Wirless.  The mouse was working very well!  I use computer a day and the wireless mouse no longer works.  Green light on the USB key is on, red light on the mouse is on.  I'm in the peripherals - mouse and it shows active.  I even remove the USB and it shows then it isn't here.  Here's my question - why the mouse will not talk to the USB port and works now?  I even went out and bought a different MS Mouse and it didn't work either.  All known manufacturing, programming, software between MS and Vista mouse problems?

Perhaps Windows does not recognize the mouse as real human interface device. If you go into Device Manager, highlight unfamiliar material, choose Update driver and then manually point it on either

C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\mouclass.sys
C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\mouhid.sys

... did allow the mouse to install?

    Hi faignard,

Thanks for the reply. It is regrettable that uninstall the existing mouse device manager drivers did not help to solve the problem.

I suggest that you go to the program and features under programs installed and check if there are any associated with IntelliPoint software or any software application related to the mouse installed. In the affirmative, please go ahead and uninstall them and then try to install the driver software IntelliPoint 8.2 in compatibility mode as stated in my previous post dated 22 December 2014. • Notebook Optical Mouse 3000

I wish the scroll key to send a double click when you press on, as did my wired mouse. I don't see this as an option. Any help?

    Hi William,.

I understand that you need the double-click feature using the mouse scroll wheel.

    Follow these methods and check.

Method 1: I suggest you to do the following to enable the feature.

    a. use of the mouse you want to configure, start IntelliPoint.
(Click Start, point to all programs, click Microsoft mouseand then click Microsoft mouse.)

    b. in the list of the button wheel , set up to use the double-click.
    Save the changes.

    Reference: http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-in/help/support/troubleshooting/mouse/mouse

Method 2: If this does not help, reinstall the software from the link, you should be able to get the required functionality.

I suggest you check out the link to uninstall the IntelliPoint software:

    Uninstall or change a program

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/uninstall-or-change-a-program

  • Wireless Microsoft notebook optical mouse does not work with g42 - 410 us laptop

Wireless Microsoft notebook optical mouse does not work with g42 - 410 us laptop

    Hi Mary,

Did you install all the necessary drivers, firmware and/or software Intellisoft of the mouse and then restart?

You have good batteries in the mouse?

Verify that the mouse is compatible with working computer and your operating system?

Have you checked the mouse icon in the control panel (after all of the above) to a setting to activate?

Contact the vendor of your computer and see if you need to update something else.  When I installed my wireless mouse, it wouldn't work until I updated the touchpad, the firmware drivers and.

    Good luck!

  • Wireless Notebook Presenter Mouse 8000

I have a Wireless Notebook Presenter Mouse 8000,
    the original USB transceiver broken.

I had a co-worker who has mouse was broken.

My mouse will pair with this "new" USB transceiver

I understand that the mice and the Transceiver are matched at the factory.

Is it possible for me to use this new transmitter/receiver?

(PS the General functions of mouse work correctly when it is used with a Belkin Bluetooth Transceiver, but certain features are not,
so I would use the MS USB Transceiver)

BTW - used with a portable Windows XP

    Hello ETuckUte32,

Thank you for using the Microsoft answers Forum.

Yes, the devices are paired at the factory and generally cannot be used with another transmitter/receiver even if it comes from the same group of models or the manufacturer. I would say that it is not possible for you to use a transmitter/receiver from another device and operate it properly or maybe even not at all.

If you can get some features with a totally different Bluetooth device, then it is perhaps the best, you'll be able to get the device. Find functions and features are reduced when you use the device with a transceiver that isn't made to go with this particular material.

Hope this helps to answer your question.

  • Use Microsoft Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 7000. Horizontal scrolling does not work

I just bought a Microsoft Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 7000 and my scrolling does not work, is their a way to implement or to solve this problem?

    Hello

    1. the problem occurs on a particular application?

I wish that you follow all the methods in this article to resolve the problem.

  • Wireless Notebook Presenter Mouse 8000 will not enter pairing mode (part 2)

I tried the fix in this issue here:

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/Windows_7-hardware/wireless-notebook-Presenter-Mouse-8000-will-not/3a0df437-759e-436D-86FC-90bebf7069ac?tab=AllReplies&TM=1320144127818

and it does not solve my problem - however the described issue is identical.
My Presenter Mouse 8000 has a permanent green light on the bottom, pressing the button on the dongle (receiver) lance the pairing wizard who tells to press me the button of the mouse for 5 seconds - I followed these instructions and the unit is not pair.  I think (I remember) which she flashed red and green when it is matching, however in my case, the Green led is permanently on and not blinking.
I changed the batteries for new ones - that has not fixed my problem
I tried on another computer matching - this does not solve my problem
I tried to install 3 different versions of the software (versions 8.0.25, the version on the CD that came with the mouse and the plus up to version 8.2 of the date), this does not solve my problem.
This mouse has worked in the past-, so I do not understand why it would stop working now after a battery change?
I'm on Windows 7 x 64 both computers, with that I tried to use the mouse.
Are there measures other that I can take to solve this problem?
Thanks in advance for your answer

    Hello

    Method 1:

I suggest that you try to do a system restore and check whether the problem is resolved.

    In Windows 7 system restore

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/products/features/system-restore

    Method 2:

I suggest you update Bluetooth drivers on the computer and check:

Updated a hardware driver that is not working properly

If it still does not work, then it may be due to a defective material.

  • Notebook optical mouse 3000 does not totally work with Windows 7

laptop optical mouse 3000 not totally work as it is in win 7 64 bit, but very well under win xp.

Hi, a problem with my laptop optical mouse 3000 with windows 7 64 bit.

the problem is that I am not able to scroll in the yahoo mail Inbox and in the Favorites of google chrome, but others such as scrolling through site Internet is fine. Makes me kind of stay away from windows 7 and stick to windows xp.
Another thing, it was that the experience with movement/pointer speed in windows 7 64 bit was totally different. experience with the speed of movement/pointer is at the time when I uninstall the driver and use the default windows HID-compliant driver.
all this problem never encounter in windows xp.
I doubt it could be the driver problem.
I tried to reinstall windows, reinstall intellipoint, reinstalling a newer version of intellipoint (7.10.344.0), but it does not help.
What should I do now? wait for a newer driver for notebook optical Mouse-mouse 3000?

  • mobile broadband stick too big causing me not able to connect my wireless receiver optical mouse

    ACER dear community,

I need your help or solutions. My problem is about my mobile broadband using stick and wireless optical mouse at the same time. I just bought a laptop Acer V13 and excited to use when I'm out and about. I have more access to public wifi and that's why I have this mobile broadband USB which I bought at my local service provider so that I can connect to the internet with it. This stick allows me to connect to the internet with a prepaid SIM in it. I'm sure you know what I describe about. I'm just explaining in detail. In any case, my stick is kinda huge. Then, when I plug in my USB port 1, I can't plug my mouse receiver into the other USB port wireless because the stick took so much space. I wish the USB ports were in separate locations, or at least a few inches on the other. Is there anyone out there who can give me suggestions or ideas on what to do? I know that this question is lame, but ideas and suggestions will really help me. Thank you very much!

As mentioned above. I discovered that I can not use several hubs extension BUT... it works when you use usb single exntension. Managed to solve the problem and I finally can I plug my mouse wireless receiver so my stick mobile broadband. See photo!
