My mouse stops Microsoft 3500 work/Black before batteries run out?

When I got my mouse (Microsoft 3500) I noticed a weird problem after like 2 or 3 days. I took out the batteries at night and when I went to insert in the morning, the blue laser flashing down once and they immediately black. After the light turns off, the pointer of my computer would not move. I continued to take the battery in and out until I saw the blue light and several times she went out immediately after his arrival. To get the blue light, I had to play with the position of the battery a lot, sometimes it will not appear if I push the battery completely into the socket, I have to get out a bit. I understood that once the blue light came I could move the pointer on my computer but once it has darkened, my pointer would freeze. So after that I noticed that, I found that if the blue light was, and I moved my finger on the blue light, sometimes if I could get a constant activity on the pointer for about 10 seconds, the light would stay and I could use my mouse normally.

Its been several months that I bought Microsoft mouse and I learned to use the trick of moving the mouse around every time I had the blackout. There, I noticed that the problem seems to occur more often when the batteries are low and if I inserted a new battery, the mouse is good. Today, I couldn't get the mouse works no matter how many times I tried a constant activity on this subject. What has happened a few times and I guess it was because of the battery is almost dead now (there is still a light blue fast however). But since I ran out of batteries, I took an old Logitech mouse and put the batteries. And guess what? The Logitech mouse works very well with the old battery flat!
So now I wonder... My mouse is defective? This started happening shortly after my purchase, so perhaps my mouse has a type of bad contact with the batteries. Or it is common on the Microsoft mouse and there just problems with low battery? If someone has a Microsoft wireless mouse and their mouse out blacks, try reseating the battery and running your finger on the blue light if there is place. Thank you.

  • Microsoft 3500 mouse not working not properly on Windows 7 and Windows 8.1

    Original title: Microsoft 3500 mouse

    Hello!

I just bought a Microsoft 3500 mouse and I've met some problems.
I tried to use it on two different computers (a currently running Windows 7 and another one running Windows 8.1) and I get the same result. I plug the receiver, turn the unit on and the green light appears. It stays like this for no more than 2 seconds and it fades. The mouse continues to work as for a minute another and she doesn't move off the coast (not going into the energy saving mode since the blue light goes out and the pointer freezes) so I have to turn on/off the unit.

What can be the problem? May be a driver problem or it's just defective?

    Hello

To answer the question, it could be. As you have tried on two different computers, it seems to be a problem with the hardware which indicates a defective hardware. However, you can also test whether it is a problem with the software by following the steps below.

Try installing the latest drivers for the Microsoft 3500 mouse from the link provided below.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/hardware/en-CA/p/wireless-mobile-mouse-3500#support

If you download and install the latest drivers does not solve the problem, you can try the troubleshooting provided in the link below steps.

  • The Microsoft 3500 wireless mobile mouse settings do not work.

Original title: the mouse settings do not work.

I had a mouse Microsoft Optical Wheel for several years and several computers.  I got the wheel button double-click on the value.  The mouse does not so I had to buy a replacement.  I found a Microsoft 3500 wireless mobile mouse, I couldn't find a wired mouse anywhere.  I downloaded the center of control of the mouse and adjust wheel double-click button.  It is not double-click.  The setting is in the program, the rest of the mouse buttons work ok, but he won't just double-click even if the program says it is how it is defined.  Windows 7 Edition home premium, door of entry DX4860.

I guess Microsoft has known there was a problem after all, the last batch of automatic updates seems to have fixed.

  • The mouse freezes at startup properly off. Mouse only thaws and works correctly when I hold the power button to stop and turn back.

I just got a new Inspiron 1545 computer 2 weeks ago and it works fine but I got a problem for the last two days where my mouse will freeze after that I stopped it using the stop option. When my computer starts you can move the mouse, but after a few seconds, it freezes, and you can't move the mouse but the keyboard works. I try to restart the computer with the option to reboot from the start menu and when it starts up to the top of the mouse freezes still. No matter how many times I try to stop or restart properly mouse unlock not. It only works if I stopped it by pressing the power and then switch on again. Any ideas as to what I could do to fix this?

The sad truth is that the mouse freeze problem is back. I searched the forum for other solutions, but so far without success.

I am currently using MS Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500 and just to make sure that the problem is with the mouse, I inverted this mouse on my other laptop which works also on Windows 7. Mouse freeze problem is replicated, which never happened before for my other laptop.
Conclusion, until Microsoft is able to solve this problem, I opted for Logitech. I bought a Logitech M235 wireless mouse last night and keep your fingers crossed that the mouse freeze problem will disappear.
Life is too short to be stressed more mouse freeze problem.

1 update you tried to install?

You can check the updates that are installed recently.

    a. Click Start, click all programs and then click Windows Update or Microsoft Update.

    b. on the Windows Update Web site or on the Microsoft Update Web site, click on view update history. A window opens that displays the updates that have been installed or that have failed to install on the computer.

You can try to perform a restore of the system to a restore point before you have been affected by the problem or the update has been installed and check.

Note: When you perform the system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

  • Microsoft 3500 wireless mouse causes the computer crashes?

I recently bought the microsoft 3500 mouse - I used the 4000 before on this computer, and it worked well and was a good mouse, so I decided to buy it. I installed it last night (Windows had some difficulties to recognize the software), and it worked fine. I left the USB plugged when I turned off the computer.

I tried to start this morning and my computer froze and did not go beyond the screen initial screen/first of the motherboard - it wouldn't even go to BIOS. It started off fine, however, when I disconnected mouse USB and tried to start without him. Anyone has an explanation as to why this is happening?

Check in the BIOS as to ensure that the BOOT sequence does not list USB before the floppy drive / CD / hard drive.

  • My wireless mouse stop working

My wireless mouse stop working... any suggestions? I put a new battery in it and it still does not work?

    Hi Glenna,

Try a classic USB mouse to confirm that this isn't your system programs related to the mouse.

Try using different USB ports in order to check that it is not a problem with that specific port.

Try the mouse wireless on another computer to see if she's working.  That should help tell if the problem is with the mouse or with the computer.

If it came with the software, firmware and drivers, try to reboot to see if that solves the problem.

If she just started recently, try a system restore to a point in time before that the problem started.  If you use Windows 7, see:http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/700-system-restore.html. If you are using Vista, see:http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/. If you are using XP, see:http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial56.html.

If the mouse doesn't work no matter what you try (on any computer), then chances are it is defective and must be replaced.  If it works on other computers, but not on this computer, then further efforts will be necessary to try to track down the problem.  If the above does not resolve the problem, after return with the results of what you have tried and what version of Windows are you using and the manufacturer, brand and model number accurate and complete of the wireless mouse.  Then this thread will probably be moved to where it should be (this is for feeback on the forums, the issues not techniques on mouse problems) and the people in this forum will also offer assistance.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Mouse stopped working, to error '(32 Rudll) windows host process has stopped working ".

My intelli mouse stopped working and what I get is "(32 Rudll) windows host process has stopped working" what's happened?

    Hi Stevan I am,

    1. for how long have you been faced with this problem?

    2. did you of recent changes on the computer?
3 do you mean the computer crashes when you get the error?

    Method 1:

You can perform a scan of the SFC (System File Checker). It lists all the issues and will also retrieve all files if necessary. Follow the steps below to perform a Scan SFC -

    a. click Start, click programs, on Accessoriesprincipally made, right click guestand then click run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow
    b. type the following command and press ENTER:
    sfc/scannow
A message appears indicating that "the system scan will start. Be patient because the scan can take some time.
    c. If all files require a SFC replace will replace them. You may be asked to insert your Win7 DVD for this process to continue.
    d. If everything is correct you should, after the scan, see the following message "resource protection Windows not found any breach of integrity".
    e. once the scan is finished, close the command prompt window, restart the computer and check.

Check the link below for further guidance on scan SFC - mentioned
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

    Method 2:

You can perform a clean boot and check if you are facing the same question to the clean boot. To perform the clean boot follow step 1 mentioned in the article below, and then try again check in the clean boot state -

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

If the problem is resolved check which service is causing the problem; referring to article and following the other steps.
When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    a. Click Start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.

    b. on the general tab, click the Normal startup option and then click OK.

    c. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

    I hope this helps.

  • PS/2 mouse stops working on Vista home Premium.

OK, so I bought a computer, an HP with Vista Home Premium, and (despite all the horror stories, I got friends who use Vista) it worked like a charm. Things were a lot until one evening when my mouse (a three buttons not optical with scroll) has stopped working. It was as if he was not yet connected. I rebooted the computer and the mouse worked fine for a minute or two, then it dies again. I tried to check my computer to find errors and he found, and I have never recived any other error that the fact that I have automatic updates turned off, because I'm on the internet by satellite and I am limited to a certain amount of bandwidth. But back to my problem: I tried a USB mouse and it worked, but it made me even more problems. You see, I have set up wireless network, and I use a wireless USB adapter. However, when I started using the USB mouse, it has messed up my network connection. The computer wouldn't connect to the network, even if I wasgiving it the password correct and everything. I tried another card, and same problem, it always says that the password is wrong, and it would not attempt to open a session on the network, comes immediately coming with the error message. Well, after some time of dinking autour with her, I did finally find the mouse by lightning to work. However, now it is down again. I'm sick and tired of having to borrow the mouse USB of my friend, WTF I do? And please don't tell me to buy something, because I'm here to solve a problem, for not giving Microsoft (or someone else) more of my hard earned money.

    Hi Roadkill1992,

    Thank you for your message.

You may want to refrain from downloading pirated software.

Any number of bad things can happen to this activity.

If it does not work on other computers, but not yours, I think you're right about the driver.

You can also try a different PS/2 mouse into this port on your computer to see if it is a failure.

The problem is that my mouse usb (USB Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0), has stopped working, the light is on but the cursor does not move it works when I restart my computer. I tried the other mice and after some time (can be 2 min, 1 h its random) the mouse stops working. The only thing I found that worked the first time, every time (so far) is simply stop and UNPLUG your computer (for laptops... Disconnect the battery as well a few moments).

With the machine on, the motherboard may still have activity.   This is what needs to be reset.

Remove power, reboot and see if the mouse started working as you go through the screen "windows".

Once logged on, it should pass the routine "found new hardware". This will solve the problem of "Unknown USB device" which is related to the mouse works do not.
