My Satellite L750 just won't turn on

My laptop (Toshiba Satellite L750) comes from the usual turn on, I tried removing the battery and the charger then hold the power button, remove the battery and the charger, keeping the battery but no charger, but all without success.

Ideas?

EH... it is not easy to say what the problem is, but probably power electronic is a troublemaker.
When you connect power AC is one of the power LEDs ON?
Is something that has happened these days with your laptop? I mean we don t know what you did with your laptop.

  • Re: Satellite C660-1F1 won't turn on even with the AC adapter is plugged

    Hello

    I need help.
I have a portable c660-1F1. It will come with the charger plugged.
Trying to hook up without the battery and it will not turn on. I don't know what the problem is.

I took the battery and took out the charger and you press the button power for 30 seconds and nothing.

Did a CMOS reset and nothing.
Took one on the memory and replaced it, but nothing.

I don't know what the problem is. I even took the internal battery and see if that makes a difference.
    Nothing happened. Still won't turn.
I think it may be the internal fuse if there is?
Or if could be the port if the laptop? The charger works fine.

The battery life is very good and I think I'm out of options and I'm afraid that it might be the motherboard and if yes, then I guess I can replace the card mother, but don't know if it works.

    Can someone help me?

    > The battery is fine and I think I'm out of options and I'm afraid that it might be the motherboard and if yes, then I guess I can replace the card mother, but don't know if it works.

    It looks like the motherboard.
It would be the worst case, because the new motherboard is really expensive: about 300

Do you think that its worth a try? I have not... in that case I would ask a technician to check the hardware.

What would you do if you buy a mobo and finally you will discover that it is not question of mobo?

    Hello

Have you used the device display change utility?
With the FN + F5 key combination, you can change the display options.
Try to use it and check if this will solve your problem.

  • Satellite Pro P200 won't start

I have an old 1 week per Satellite Pro P200, it turns off when I was just in the start menu, so I was not doing something out of the norm (power cable is plugged). Since then it just won't turn.

With the connected power cable I have an electric blue, power battery and light (although attempts to restart about 2 the battery light was red, but now blue). The drive light flashes for about 3 seconds each time I try to start and I can hear something happening inside the machine, but after only 3 seconds... nothing, completely dead.

I tried to remove the battery, wait 20 minutes or more and none of it worked. Anyone have any ideas?

Seems to be definitely a hardware problem... very bad :(
Why you visit your dealer for new laptop and ask for Exchange.
Maybe the dealer will exchange the laptop with a new.

If this isn't the case, then you must contact the service provider authorized in your country for assistance.
If you have purchased an extra service on the spot then the technician you will visit at home and will try to solve this problem.

    Good luck

I have a Satellite A215 who just won't turn on. I have the blue light flash on the power cable and battery. I tried to take out the battery and memory.
I tried to use only the power cord power, but with no luck please please help got all my pics on laptop and it won't just turn

Have you tried a different memory location? On some PCs, you must have a Module of memory in the first place. Otherwise, it does not start.

If this does not work, then the motherboard or video card might be faulty. Take it to a Service Center for repair.

  • On Satellite L750 battery problem

    Hello

I just bought a laptop Toshiba Satellite L750. The first turn on the indicator of battery said "plugged in, not support." So after reading the forums, I found that I had to update the BIOS I did and now charges the battery. BUT I get about 1 1/2 hours before battery time it goes up to 10% and tells me to plug into the a/c power.

Is this normal? Can I do to solve this problem?

For me these or not questions I should have on a 2 day old machine.

    Thank you.

    > BUT I don't have that about 1 1/2 hours before battery time it goes up to 10% and tells me to plug into the a/c power.

It is normal that if you don t use the battery optimized settings.
Battery working time depends on the use of the laptop.
If the battery needed to dump much faster racing game or a another high-performance application.

You can extend the battery work by reducing the brightness of the display, CPU, GPU and module cooling performance.

  • Satellite L750 - stuck on the Realtek card reader

    Hello

I just got a Toshiba Satellite L750 / 00K and I turned it on for the first time. He asked about the recovery and I chose 64-bit, and then on the settings in the box. It restarted once then I left it to charge. I came back and he was stuck on the Realtek card reader. It has been like this for maybe 2 hours, I can move the mouse but nothing has changed. He said that commissioning could take some time but I don't know if something is wrong. Help, please!

    Thank you

    Hey Buddy,

Installation of recovery can take a very long time. In your case I'd wait a bit more.

If it helps doesn t you should try to start installing recovery again. You can do this if you access Windows Advanced Boot menu and select Repair my computer.

    Hello

If the LED flashes then a serious hardware problem has been detected on the motherboard.
I think that the guarantee must be valid because L750 model isn't very old so don t time in bulk and get in touch with the Toshiba ASP in your country.
Guys should help you for free if the warranty is valid.

For me it doesn't look like a main part (motherboard) need a replacement.

  • Satellite L750 turns on and turns off by itself using Linux

Today, I had some strange behavior on my laptop. It closes unexpectedly, after showing a dialog box saying "your computer will stop in 60 seconds". And then when I turn it back on, it stops just before the start and it turns on by itself after a few seconds.

It not too much heat, the CPU temperature is normally between 50 - 60 c (I constantly monitored using Conky). In addition, someone told me to upgrade the BIOS, so I did it, but the problem persists. I also tried to replace the RAM and run a memcheck, but everything looks good on the side of the memory.

I use linux and had a look on ' / var/log/syslog ", but I'm not sure that I know exactly what to look for. Messages saved before you stop do not seem to describe something suspicious.

I use Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, but it seems that the problem is more hardware related and I would like to study what are the causes stop randomly. The same thing on Windows, but there is no warning before stopping.
My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite L750-11w.

    Clues would be greatly appreciated.

    > I use Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, but it seems that the problem is more hardware related and I would like to study what are the causes stop randomly. The same thing on Windows, but there is no warning before stopping.

You have verified the functionality of the laptop using the Windows system, but have you used the Toshiba recovery disc and have you tested with factory settings?

I m wondering about the message: your computer will shut down in 60 seconds

If this would be a hardware problem, then the laptop would be closed without any warning messages.
So I guess there must be a software problem, I guess that some triggers for setting this automatic valve downwards.
But to be honest, I have no idea of what parameters can be

If you think that its hardware problem, I guess only a laptop computer technician would be able to help you.

  • Satellite C650 won't turn on / boot (black screen only)

I am having trouble with my year old Satellite C650. In fact, when I go to turn it on it just won't. The power led on the front of the laptop turns on and the fan starts whirring (only to stop a few seconds later), but there is no change to the screen. I tried to take out the battery, restart, connect, disconnect - basically everything I can think of, but nothing made a difference.

Can anyone think a possible solution? I really hope this isn't a hardware problem, but I have a horrible feeling that it looks like this...

    Thank you!

I'm scared of m its hardware problem.
My advice would not apply to a Toshiba service provider in your country that would check the parts.
Your laptop doesn't seem to be old so maybe the warranty is still valid and the fix could be done free of charge.

Are you sure that your laptop model is equipped with the keyboard backlight?
