  As I see in the paper manuals for your Tecra s user I can see two optical disk drives are listed as compatible:
  MATSU * A UJDA765
  MATSU * A UJ-832

  Reference numbers are not known to me, but I recommend you to use only compatible devices.

  Remove the drive from Device Manager CD/DVD, and then restart the laptop.

• 5530 Evvy replaced printer - need to replace the driver and software?

  Recently, I had to feel my 5530 all-in-One printer replaced while it was still under warranty. The replacement came with new driver software and everything, but since it is the same model that I decided not to install it and use the existing driver installed on computers instead. (Replacement not be come with directions for uninstall, said by the way.)

  The new printer is connected to the wireless network (using touch screen) and is recognized by computers on the network, but I can't get anything to print, since the existing driver HP software does not seem to 'find' the printer. Do I still need to uninstall the driver and reinstall? And what about the other programs installed with HP printer?

  The computers are all Windows 7 64 bit.  I'm not very technical, so it makes me a little nervous.

  The hard drive has begun to fail on my brand-new T500 with WIn7 Pro pre-installed. I don't have time to create discs of RnR. Support of Lenovo said they are ready to ship a new hard drive, but there is a problem getting the RnR disks set up with the drive for me.   Ok. I took another look and I think I've found that I have to create the rescue disks... I don't know how I missed the first time around.  I'll give it a shot.

  I went for a Toshiba MQ01ABD050.

  Change the disks in place was simple: I followed the video of PartsPeople (?) on YouTube.

  Recover the disk image was simple using Macrium Reflect.

  The whole process takes less than an hour and I was good to go.

  I put SSDS in both my latops and have no issues.  An SSD was in need of a firmware update but otherwise no problem.
