Nervous cursor

Nervous cursor: when I type, the cursor will jump around like a blue * fly cause me to decode the message and re - write. I changed my mouse, slowed down the movement of the cursor on the computer program... has not changed... is there a recommended fix?

Most of the time when I hear symptoms such as these, the computer is proving to be a laptop and the cause of the cursor jump around because when you type on your laptop, your wrists or hollow of the hand ends up brushing near the touchpad, causing the cursor jump around the screen.  If you have a laptop but to use a mouse, try disabling the touchpad.  On some laptop models, cela by double-clicking a small LED in the upper left corner of the keyboard.  If not, check your panel Manager or control device.

  • Blank Screen + cursor At Startup / Pavilion g4-2149se Notebook

    Hello!

As stated, I have a HP Pavilion laptop g4-2149se running Windows 7.

For the last 2 weeks almost whenever I start my computer, before getting the Windows Welcome screen, I get a blank screen, persistent with a slider. Then, he'll finally get to the Welcome screen, but before it loads my office, I'll take another white screen persistent with a slider. Honestly, I am grateful that my computer is always start at all... But is it possible to fix the persistent blank screens? It makes me nervous.

I looked on the web a solution for days and everything I could find, I tried, but nothing has worked. I uninstalled all the Windows updates recent, hoping that one of them had gone bad, but it did not help the situation. I scanned for viruses and malware and found nothing. I just downloaded a program because I noticed the problem started (4 K Video Downloader), although the program does not seem to be a problem for someone else.

Anyone have an idea how I could possibly fix this or maybe I missed something? Any help is appreciated!

  • insensitive cursor or jumpy on a touchpad

I use a Toshiba laptop with Windows seven. I had to use a radio app free to listen to music for a work project. Since my cursor has become nervous or inadmissible several times a day. I can stop for temp fix but it returns. I ran several AV, spyware, malicious programs, but they are. Ideas?

    Hello

Welcome to Microsoft Community and we are happy to help you.

From your description, I understand your cursor jump Dungeon after installing a radio application.

It could have happened due to problem in the touchpad drivers.

I suggest you follow these methods and check.

    Method 1:

I suggest you to check the sensitivity of the touchpad. Reduce the sensitivity and check if that helps.

    Method 2:

I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the drivers for the touchpad.

If you use an external mouse and that you are not using the touchpad on the laptop, you can disable the touchpad in order to not accidentally tab that moves the cursor. If you use the touchpad, you can always disable tapping when typing, that solved the problem for many people.

  • Problem of different cursor in CS4 and x 64 Ultimate Window7...

My first post, I'm frustrated and looking for help. I see three ghostly sliders (pointing to the hands or fists), when I mouse over some choice in PS4 (11.01, the most recent version); as the selections at the bottom of the channels or when "transform" is active.

I have built a few PCs and computers have made since the beginning of the 1980s. It's making me nervous! I tried everything and did a lot of research.
I have Windows7 64-bit Ultimate, with the latest updates. I have an almost brand new MSI (Nvidia), 9800 GT graphics card and fancies two monitors. Photoshop PS4 (version 11.01), and... what else? A PC that didn't give me no questions (in Photoshop), until what I loaded Windows7!

I tried to install the latest Nvidia driver 196.21, several times.  The last time that I have saved files in the nvidia folder in the program files area.  The last time it took more time and my screen flashed and he said: it has been installed (but it still says that it is installed) and after that no change in the characteristics of driver Windows. He said that I have the old driver Nvidia, "8.17.11.9621" hell what number is that?

I can not get the 196.21 driver to install. Windows says I have later.
Now, I read on people with partial cursor problems in PS, but anyone with my problem. Such a piss you don't know if it is Nvidia, Windows7, or Photoshop.

Finally, I tried to turn off 'Enable OpenGL drawing'.

3 cursor problem could this Council provided recently by dec9.  "You have your computer display settings set higher then 100 dpi.". Change it at or below 100 percent. "It worked for the other poster.

I've seen posts that said user was to go and "rub" on the old drivers as an update was simply not overwriting the old completely.  Not a geek so hope this helps.

  • cursor jump after update of the Sierra

After update of last week to Sierra of MacOS, I noticed many times randomly my cursor will jump erratically. I noticed several times why in an application like Photoshop Adobe or Illustrator but today it happened so that in Safari. Its very rare that gives me trouble with troubleshooting myself. Maybe one, two times a day.

Before Sierra, I have not noticed any issues with the trackpad when his flat on a desk. In the past maybe noticed a little problem here and there if on my lap or on an angle, but this small current problem seems to have started with Sierra.

  • Problem of cursor or mouse

Since the upgrade to Sierra, the cursor or the mouse does not work properly with Lightroom CC 2015.7, version "safe Sierra. It could be a problem for Adobe but Lightroom and Photoshop have been updated for Sierra and only Lightroom has the problem. Oddly enough, Photoshop works OK. In addition, the Sierra of Lightroom, 2015.7 security update, worked perfectly with El Capitan, without any problem of cursor or mouse. So I guess it might be problem Sierra or Lightroom allowing customers to loss. The Magic Mouse and the Mighty Mouse mice are problematic.

The main problem for me is that the cursor has become limited in controlling sliders and tone curve points.

    Someone else?

Yes, the same problems here. With the help of Macbook Pro 13 '' end 2014 on macOS Sierra & Lightroom 2015.7. Strange behavior when using the sliders and the points of the curve.

Do not forget that what was already a problem once after a LR update - so I guess it's at the end of the Adobes.

  • Touchpad cursor gets hard to control "woozy"

Recently, I went back to using my Mac Pro 2009 after using a Macbook to the past two years for most. I upgraded to El Capitan first, and I decided to start a new account because I've been migrating the same account for 20 years. So all is cool enough for most.

I had used a magic with the MacBook Pro touchpad because I hated the portable computers clean touchpad. Having become accustomed to the use of the touch pad, that I decided to use it with the Mac Pro. I use the touchpad, even for the last two years.

Here's the problem: I have not yet identified which triggers it but what is happening is that the slider will frequently and suddenly become what I can only describe as 'under the weather', and I hope it makes sense. It becomes slow and its response and tends to overcompensate sometimes I have to be very careful and precise and slow in my movements when it's like that because if I use my hands the way I would normally be the cursor will overshoot.

It does not have it for long periods of time, but he does not often. And it makes me a little nuts. Any ideas?

Really?  No one has an answer here?  I'm going crazy... and now my stylus is dead, so I am forced to use the touchpad! (I can't use a mouse because of repetitive stress injury)
