Network not being installed controller

I recently installed Windows XP on a HP Mini 110-3627TU and have found that used to install network controller.

I think that the controller of Broadcom 802.11 b/g/n Associate.

Download sp46171.exe on the site of HP for HP Mini model above doesn't seem to work.

Any help on this issue would be appreciated.

Paul,

The driver downloaded from your link has worked well and installed without any problems.

Therefore, the Wi - Fi works now.

There must be something wrong with the other latest drivers.

But in any case thank you very much for help you and it's much appreciated.

Kind regards

AlexanderN

Sorry, you have problems getting your patches installed. I have a number of things for you to look at.  First of all, your Background Intelligent Transfer Services set to Automaticand started and Windows Update ? You can check these settings by typing services.msc in the search box of the start menu.

Sometimes in order to get patches to install correctly, you must perform these tasks manually. Here are the direct links for Microsoft; Click on each link and then download and run:

    KB981726

    KB976321

If this does not work, try to run the Microsoft OneCare safety scanner.  Sometimes it will solve problems of hidden registry, or can clear the virus that can prevent the installation of the patches: http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/center/whatsnew.htm. Click full service scan, and then Quick scan (full scan takes a long time to complete). Try the patches.

  • HP software detects the printer, but then "the printer could not be installed on the network.

I tried looking for a similar problem, but have had no success yet.  I doubt I'm the first to this problem!

The computer is XP SP3, is printer Deskjet 3050 has, and it's a WiFi WPA - PSK.

The printer confirms that it is connected to WiFi.

When I run the tool on the computer, to the point of network configuration check, the installation software detects the printer with the correct IP address.  It's the only thing he discovered.

I click Next, and after a minute or two, I get the error "the printer could not be installed on the wireless network" click Retry to try reinstall the printer on the network, or click Cancel to return to connection options.

This just cycles with no progress.  I have disabled the Windows Firewall and also disabled the AV.  No change.

I can access the interface web printer - but still cannot install the printer.  It is listed in the printers and faxes as being offline.

I'll try removing it again and add new-but-that someone has encountered this problem before, please?

Well, my problem is almost solved. I uninstalled the software and then downloaded the software of the printer on the HP site where it is more recent than what was on the CD... and it's fixed!

    I can print wireless!

Cannot scan, the printer gives an error, but that's OK for now.

I tried to go to the main web site... But nothing will do it. 0: Yes... And I even tried updating the driver but he just said that he does on windows update...

Theres 4 here wireless LAN drivers . Select Notepad / sucks / 5442G.

But you will need to know if its Atheros QMI or Foxconn.

If this is the wireless on board. If its got one? in Device Manager, double click on it go to the Details tab / change hardware ID's for one of the entries, copy and paste it here.

  • I'm looking for a link to XP SP1 does not require a network connection to install

I'm looking for a link to XP SP1 does not require a network connection to install

Were you recently doing a Clean Install? I ask because you are implying in your installation of Windows XP is in 'gold' or SP0 (i.e., pre - SP1) level. Well sure, automatic updates will not work!
You can use this path to level – says in passing:
Gold XP to XP SP2 to XP SP3.
Note that installing SP1a is TOTALLY USELESS!
    Here are the detailed instructions:

    1. download the installation of SP2, SP3 and IE8 files. I prefer to keep these on a USB key, but this is optional. Here are the links to all the installation of three files:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?ID=28 (for SP2)

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?ID=24 (for SP3)

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&ID=43 (for IE8)

And if you wish, download the Setup file of a good anti-virus program. I recommend Avira free Antivirus:

    http://www.Avira.com/en/Avira-free-antivirus

    2. disconnect Internet.

    3. temporarily disable the automatic updates.

    4. install SP2. Restart twice.

5 install the SP3. Restart twice.

6 switch to IE8. Restart twice.

    7 install an Antivirus software.

(What happens very often is that someone has their software antivirus running as they try to install SP3, which often translates into chaos! "This is why it must be done after installing SP3 and IE).

8 make sure that firewall Windows is activated (it should be).

(Now you can physically reconnect to the Internet.)

9 visit Windows Update to download and install only the critical security updates.

10 re - enable automatic updates.

After the back if you need guidance.

  • FOJ 8500 909 g will not fully install, not accessible from the computers in home wireless network

I bought an Officejet Pro 8500 909 g which worked well on our home network for 18 months.  Desktop is 32-bit Windows 7 with a USB cable.  Two wireless devices are 64-bit Windows 7.  Printer suddenly has not recognized the cartridges and frozen with the message "problem with the ink cartridge.  Called HP (unassisted) and tech support of holders of the contract of service - without help.  They sent a refurbished (even) model which I can't install on USB or wireless connection completely.  Yesterday, I was able to print at least one 3 machines on the network (not every machine wireless).  Today, I can not print even the USB device.  5 days lost uninstall then reinstall the printer software, router, etc.  Connected wireless network.  Printer says it is on the wireless network.  HP Solution center is not accessible because the "printer is not completely installed. Help?

    Hi EWQuince,

The information you have given it seems that the printer is not on the same network as the computer. If the printer was on the same network as the computer, the IP address would be 192.168.1 instead of 192.168.33. You must run the printer Wireless Setup Wizard and make sure that you connect it to a network, the computers are connected. Once you have the printer connected to the same network all your problems should be solved.

    Hi Krrusso,

You can try the following steps and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

You can try to start the Fixit from the following link and check if it helps.

Diagnose and solve the program installation and uninstallation problems automatically

    Method 2:

You can perform a clean start and check if it helps.

A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.

You can read the following article to put the computer in a clean boot:
