new battery 0% after 10 hours of "load".

Hey guys,.

After coming back from vacation, I found my laptop x201i 3 weeks totally discharged. I have pluged it overnight adapter (ntbk turned off) and found in the same condition in the morning.

Know it: "battery was completely discharged and must be charged. "Do take 10 hours or more.

If, it does not load completely after 10 hours, so you may need to get the battery exchanged under warranty.

P.S. as a note of caution do not completely draining your battery, you must set the laptop to turn off automatically at the level of 5% battery. A deep discharge could kill the battery (which may be what is happening in your battery, in which case an externalb battery charger is necessary to revive the battery).

  • Battery dying after 50 hours standby

Bought a new KRZR on Amazon in July. Have not used much at all yet, but use it very very soon. I am concerned about the battery life because when I charge the battery loses charge very quickly (after about 50 hours) not used at all. It seems therefore that I should get a new battery before moving to California and you will need to use the phone a LOT.

But, looking at the pages of Motorola, it seems that they don't offer a replacement for the KRZR K1 batteries. Where, then, should I buy a new battery I can depend on?

I found it on their Web site. I just clicked on accessories (Batteries and doors) and then clicked on refinement: "by the phone model", then choose KRZR.

I meant old phone in two ways. First of all that the phone was initially introduced earlier. Maybe in 2006 or 2007. Secondly the phone may have been made many years ago and then it's in their inventory. Who knows, they might even do the phone.

What about the battery life. You have an active SIM card in the phone now, or is this a unregistered SIM card?  I think that it to be he would look to a tower. If the signal is poor the phone research, research and research of a signal. This will deplete the battery life faster. In the same way. With Bluetooth being active it will seek recently paired devices. Or if you're actively using Bluetooth it will expend energy during communication.  With regard to the citations for the 'specifications' most companies do care laboratory. Which means that conditions are ideal. Very few people live in a laboratory. I have to start somewhere right? Basically, I guess as it's the best I can get. Point raised.

    Hello

Why would it not normal? I presume that you very well now that Vista uses more resources than Windows XP Home edition and it is logical that energy consumption is also higher than on Windows XP Home edition.

To be honest the 2 hours is OK for this model of laptop. I have the Satellite A200-1CR and battery is also about 2 hours. Less than 2 hours, but sometimes it depends on notebook use.

I have a new battery that the other was under warranty.

When I stop and turn off the power to the computer, the battery seems to be running in the back ground as when I turn on the pc there are only about 3 percent of power in the battery.

    Hey,.

Really shut down you the computer, or it is in standby mode? No battery power is necessary if you turn off the computer or switch to hibernation mode. Standby battery power is required.

In addition, you wrote that you have a new battery. How many times you load the already? A new battery must be charged at least 5 times to reach full capacity.

If you have loaded the battery is battery LED color change?

  • New battery for Satellite A40-S270 loads but does not work

My Satellite A40-S270 battery (PA3287U-1BRS) is 4 years old and doesn't work for 2 hours, so I bought a new.
From 2 different companies, they provide a PS2522U, 11.1V 8800 mAH, which is supposed to be compatible 100%.

Fees from the battery to 100%, then when I pull the AC it closes... becomes black.
It does NOT start on battery only. The green light flashes when I push the Start button, but that's all.

I can put the old battery to charge fully, then it will unload fully (2 hours) then load and shoot HQ at any time and it continues to run.

    > My Satellite A40-S270 (PA3287U-1BRS) battery is 4 years old and works only 2 hrs
The laptop can run with old battery 2 hours?
Hey Buddy my laptop only tracks 1.50hours by using the battery power and the battery is not old and doesn't malfunction. There is nothing wrong with your old battery in my eyes.

In addition, you should know that battery life depends on the use of the laptop battery would not last long if the laptop would be used with a maximum performance (using accuracy in car, CPU and CD/DVD display at 100%, etc.)

Back to your question; I think that your batteries are not entirely compatible.
You must take the same battery recommended by Toshiba.

  • New battery problem - does not load.

My first battery died after 3 years.  I bought a new one and it does not load.  Any ideas?

Yes, the power button on the laptop.

Is it a leader in the battery... it turns the laptop?

If you hover over the battery icon it signals any charge?

You can also try (including some report success with) a similar procedure to turn the PC off, remove the battery and power supply and then now button / stop for 20 to 30 seconds as before.

Now, plug in current first and then insert the batteries.

It's something I've never tried and for me is almost the same as "hot swapping" a battery although many report it resets a battery no load. Maybe research all first if your laptop supports 'Exchange hot' batteries.

  • charge battery after installing the new battery does not exist

I use Windows 7 Ultimate Spk1 32 bit on my laptop (big mistake)
I recently installed a new battery & put it through the cycles of preparation 3 times following the instructions.
The next time he went down to the alarm of low level newly together and I added the power adapter, nothing happened, the battery wouldn't charge.
After many attempts to do nothing improved load, especially my temper.
They advised me to install another battery which I just did, and this SECOND new battery just sits there & will not charge either.
When he arrived he had 10% fresh rate showing so I removed the AC adapter and let him draw 8%, but when I replaced the adapter he had served on 8% & does not load.
What is going on? How a simple thing like recharging simply disappears. ?
Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

    See you soon
    Geoff

The charging circuit inside the laptop and recharges the battery while the laptop is plugged into the mains. If the load circuit does not have the laptop is running on a charged battery or the power cable, but won't charge the battery.  The fact that the machine failed to load two new and old battery suggests the charging circuit has failed.

  • PC Pavilion laptop: no sound on Pavilion g6 after installing the new battery CMOS

I have a Pavilion g6z - 1 d 00 CTO Notebook PC, model A2F43AV number.  It came with Windows 7 Home Premium, and I upgraded the operating system to Windows 7 Pro (64 bit).

The problem is that I did not sound, either through headphones or the speakers even if the Volume is set at 55. I first noticed the audio problem after replacing the CMOS battery, as the laptop is 4 years old and he gave me intermittent wireless connectivity problems.  After installing the new battery CMOS, I noticed the wireless driver was missing and downloaded/installed.  Everything was fine except the audio.  Then I reset the BIOS but nothing there as the BIOS version is v.49, and it is the most recent.

I have also downloaded/installed the driver audio and rebooted the PC.  Still, there is no noise.

Finally, I have checked the audio drivers and the reporting system they work without any problem.

    What should I do next?

    Thanks for the reply,

I was under the impression that these links would take you to guide step by step, however, it seems that they do not work,

However, I have provided details below:

To perform a hard reset on a computer equipped with a removable battery, follow these steps:

    1. Turn off the computer.

    2. Remove the computer from the docking station or port replicator.

    3. Disconnect all external devices from devices such as USB, external displays storage devices and printers.

    4. Disconnect the power adapter from the computer.

    5. Remove the battery from the compartment to batteries.

    6. Press and hold button power for about 15 seconds, remove any residual electric charge capacitors that protect memory.

    7. Insert the battery and plug the power adapter into the laptop, but do not connect peripheral devices.

    8. Press the power button to turn on the computer.

    9. If a boot menu appears, use the arrow keys to select start Windows normally and then press the Enter key.

    10. After you have reconnected each peripheral device, run Windows Update and HP Support Assistant to update all device drivers.

To perform a hard reset on a computer equipped with a sealed or non-removable battery, follow these steps:

    1. Turn off the computer.

    2. Remove the computer from the docking station or port replicator.

    3. Disconnect all external devices from devices such as USB, external displays storage devices and printers.

    4. Disconnect the power adapter from the computer.

To perform a system recovery, this link should work: click here
