Hi my name is Jack and I get an authentication problem when setting up my Android smartphone version 5.1 Lollipop printing to Office Jet Pro 8600 with the last service Plugin from Google HP play printing store

    Hi Banhien

After two days of frustrating trying to get my Motorola Smartphone connect and print on my HP Officejet Pro 8600, I finally saw the light. He seems to think I didn't need to change my home network (SSID) as suggested by the consumer cell phone support to overcome the problem of authentication. Thinking as the phone OS was ANDROID 5.1, it is the necessary IP to it see the printer. My problem was that I kept entering my IP Phones ANDROID for it to see the printer instead of the IP to printers for the phone to connect to the printer. Once I realized that and I replaced the printer IP in the phone, Bingo, it worked 'awesome' with the print service plugin. I want to thank you for the suggestion to use HP Eprint app that I don't know who would have functioned as if I got the IP address in the configuration without the telephone.

to install the ink & transport of ink would not come to the Center.
SO... I stopped the printer to start again... and now, the
screen has a spinning wheel indicating "cartridges controls."
It lasts for more than half an hour.
HELP... This is a new printer & I can't open.
    Thank you kindly.

    Hi @paulallah,

Thanks for joining the Forums of HP Support for a solution to your printer problem.

I understand that you have a printer of HP all-in-one OfficeJet Pro 8720 which took a long time to initialize and is now stuck in a mode 'check' cartridges after the reboot it because transport would not move to the Center. I would like to help with that.

I would start by doing a Reset of the power on the printer.

If that fails to solve the problem, you might want to speak with HP Technical Support as there may be a hardware problem.

You mentioned that you are using a Mac running OS X 10.5 Leopard or more. The HP all-in-one OfficeJet Pro 8720 printer is only compatible with Mac OS X 10.7 Lion or later.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

  • Print duplex does not not with Office Jet Pro L7780 (L7700-network) with Snow Leopard

Current driver is 3.0.1 - implemented 2-sided in the page layout option, network printer prints two separate pages. Saved as a PDF, created two separate pdf files. Any resolution of this bug?

Solved! This was the case of a bad Document in Word 2004. If the title of the Word document a # it will damage the paper somehow. In my case, the document does not open by double clicking it, then I went to file > open and saved as something else. This document would not have double side printing, however when I went back to the original, changed the # in the title of a dash (-), I was able to open that document and double-sided print.

If I come back and re - print pages, it comes out ok.  Sometimes, several pages are ok and then the text will be jumbled up.

What is a printer problem, or something in the text document upset the printer?

  • Office Jet pro 8610: Office Jet pro 8610 for windows server 2008 R2

I got the new Office Jet pro 8610 prither but does not have the driver for "Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise" 64-Bit.

What to do now. Can you please provide?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

The same driver as expected for any operating system like Windows 7 or 8 must be used, however, the installation should be launched via the command line and not as a standard installation.

Follow these steps to install the software of the printer on a server:

  • Office jet pro 8500 software for os 10.8

    I have a week I have Mac OS X 10.8 running.

My not so new Office jet Pro 8500 910 a has a disk for OS 10.6.

When you try to install the printer an error message is displayed.

The help of HP suggests using the Mac update, but I guess as have not yet had time to do an update to the 8500.

It doesn't seem to be a download again on the HP site.

Any ideas on what I can do, and before anyone suggests, I don't want to buy a new printer!

Well Yes, I recommend a few levels:

    1. the base drivers from Apple (at HP, in fact): http://support.apple.com/kb/DL907

    2. restart your Mac.

    3. download and install the full setting: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=mp-108394-1&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&os=219&product=4083969&sw_lang=

  • Office Jet Pro 8600: office jet pro 8600 clear the display

I have an Office Jet Pro 8600 and need to know if there is a way to fix the screen faded. You don't see the options like print, scan, fax, tools...  It isn't that I know where they are and who's who for the most part.

In addition, scanning is not clear.  Everything is faded.  However, it still prints and faxes by a fine.  I hope I don't have to buy a new All In One Printer.  I finally got most of the glitches and tricks when I have a problem with it.  Is it possible that there is a light bulb needs to be changed or something?  I appreciate your help & feed back as soon as possible.  I use in an office on a daily basis.

    Kind regards

    Meredith

    Hey @mere4340,

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support.

I see that you have some problems with the copy and see the display on your Officejet 8600 e-all-in-one printer. I can help you with that.

To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Once it is, while the printer is on, remove the power cable at the back of the printer for one minute.

If after the above, that you can't always see the screen or copy clear, the printer needs to be replaced because it has no replaceable bulbs in the scanner or the display. You can contact the HP Support by clicking here and filling out the form below to see what options are available.

Please let me know if that solves your problems. If so, please click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

  • Trouble installing the software and the driver for Office Jet Pro 8600

I get error that "additional software is necessary to continue' when I try to install the software and drivers for my wireless printer Office Jet Pro 8600. I just got a new laptop and had at first no parameter problem the printer and it prints fine, but now for some reason it is not print at all. I tried to restart my laptop and printer several times, but it keeps saying printer offline even if it is connected to my wireless. I followed the recommendation of an assignment that suggests to abolish the printer and reinstall, which is where I am now. Now, I can not install this printer at all by the above error message. Help, please!

    Thank you!

    Hi HSchulz,

When you try to install with the CD, try installing the latest Windows 7 driver from the HP website. Restart the computer, turn off the printer, then reboot your router and then launch the installation. Here is a direct link to the driver file:

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL40120/bi-108858-4/OJ8600_1315-1.exe

Select the connection Wireless option during installation to get the printer on the network and associated with the laptop. Let me know if this helped at all...

  • Printing Office Jet Pro x 476-extreme slowness

From one day to the other, one of our Office Jet Pro x 476 begins to print EXTREMELY slow. There are no recent changes on the computers involved, I just noticed that all 4 cartridges are close to being empty (black to 25%, rest about 20%). There is no other problems with this printer and it still prints high quality without another problem (smear,...), but it takes more than a minute to print 4 pages (no matter if I print a letter in black and white or a photo in high resolution with all the colors).

You have a new printer, the problem is solved.
