  One of my friends suggested that I check for keylogger/malware which could have posed to her when she was lost.

  Is this possible?

  My phone is still intact without jailbreaking. And I changed my 'lost' in an hour after iCloud mode right after that I found my missing phone.

  If you had a set up, then no access code, there is no way to install anything on this subject. If you're not convinced, you can always restore it as a new device.

  I recently had a new battery PA3533U-1B SR / regarding my age Satellite a 300 d.
  When I put the new battery in the laptop, unplugged computer, press the power button, the Red battery light blinks several times, no power.

  Was it your credit card which has been used? If this is not the case, the incident has nothing to do with you. If it is your credit card which has been used call the credit card company and they will probably issue you a new credit card.

  It probably won't work. WWAN module is qualified for the TPT are Gobi3000, F5521gw Ericsson and Huawei EM600. I assumed that, like the ThinkPad standard, all the other modules are rejected at the level of "BIOS", so even that if you find Android drivers for other cards, you wouldn't be able to get the card working.

  I called your 'Technical Support' several times. All they do, they transfer my phone from one Department to another, without solution. It seems that HP has nothing but sell unnecessary products and waste of our money.

• IS THERE A UNAUTHORIZED KEYLOGGER INSTALLED IN MY COMPUTER?

  Hello, thanks in advance for any advice.

  I am running XP PRO, the latest AVG free 9.0, run regular scans and defrags and generally watch for anything out of the ordinary. My machine (outside of tracking cookies) has escaped what to left for last two years. BUT... a few nights ago I went to one of my (protected by password) MS Office home and Student 2007, Word documents find just below my title these words"file close please, keylogger has now started..." "These words appeared as it in the light gray font and a similar size. This file contained all the details of registration of website including the passwords and user names. Until three months ago I had never made a purchase on the net, but at that time, I started using Itunes with store cards. About a week prior to this event, I started to buy music downloads from Itunes with A debit card. The only other thing I did differently on the net was also a few days before the appearance of the text, and who should register for banking online. The Bank sent me a confirmation email that I could go to the site and have access to my account (which I did not now because I spotted this wording beforehand). I also deleted all files with the type user name and password information. I tried forums and blogs and can not find an instance of simlilar. I ran half a dozen scans with the new AVG and it shows a clean computer. At the very least, I was hoping someone might know of a page listing all the built-in warning messages that may come with MS WORD 07. That would be a start. For a such important security issue, it was a grey warning rather little, light. Thanks again. 

  First, check and make sure your Windows is authentic. If your Windows is pirated or NOT genuine, no one could help you with security.

  Check your Windows Firewall and make sure you have the latest service pack and update Windows yoru.

  Just in case where run the full scan of the system with:

  And see if it detects anything or not.

  Check Windows Security Center in the control panel and to do of course, all is well.

  Then see the result and tell us.

  You probably have some browser hijacking.  You can use two specialized programs to combat this phenomenon.

   

  First, install spybot and inoculate your system.

   

  Then, install hijackthis and scan.

   

  the scan will produce a log of all distracting.  However, most of them is useful.

   

  Instead, focus on level R0 or R1 entries that refer only to the browser.

   

  in these lines, you'll probably find references to sites that you were diverted for that.  but should also see a number of them pertaining to microsoft and msn and bing or.

   

  my suggestion is to remove/repair all that do not apply to microsoft, msn and bing.

• Need to 'clean up' my Pavillion DV6500, a keylogger, impossible to find the 3rd disk restore HP said I need?

  I searched for this disc and cannot locate where to order. My laptop Pavilion DV 6500 has a keylogger on it. It was installed by a person using the master drive and it has integrated so no one can remove it. The best they can tell me he wipe the laptop and then it will be gone for sure.

  I don't mind it, but HP said that I need 3 disks to restore my laptop. I have 2 a couple years ago when the laptop computer had a problem and HP actually due to restore it to fix it.

  Aparrently, he is now a 3rd disc because there are more readers up-to-date, etc., but I can't seem to find where they are if I can order just the 3rd disc as the representative of HP to tell me to do the other day.

  Any ideas where I could find this? Bad enough I have to wipe a 7 year old device that may not start again, but now I can't find the software to restore the TI - lol.

  OK that answers my question. I think that the HP rep did not understand what I was trying to explain when I said that I already had 2 of the 3 discs recovery. I guess there are a lot of new drivers that make up the disc 3 that weren't around when it was recovered by HP 3 or 4 years.
  Looks like I'll have to go without a computer for a while longer until I can buy all 3 disks.

• Problems with Vista OS SP2 after automatic updates: using OneCare; application of integrated keylogger HP CPU "HP SDP" made by IBM in Durham, North Carolina (?); corrupted Samsung print driver downloaded from the website of the company

  1. techie OneCare WINS access - probably not unauthorized and do not believe it causes always provided a quality service, but they have had access in the past.

  2 HP technicians - have had access to my computer once - did a good job with computer crash (not sure cause), but tried to sell me more HP products when I have no money...

  3. after the technicians HP did good job with crash, started to have pop-ups keep HP application that appeared as an add-on that works without permissions on my computer. Google the name of the HP SDP application > recovered information said program is IBM in North Carolina. Called them. Nobody gives any information on the program until I got ahold of a person who gave me the phone to techie Dept. It took all day. Not have not yet contacted technology because they have closed before I could call.

  4. called HP to inquire about the search info from HP SDP. on his goal? HP said he works as a keylogger you sell stuff. But what was weird is after the system crashed and repaired, there was one day that he has opened three times in ten minutes! The behavior of the application has changed after my OS has been repaired. Then after that I indicated HP where I found information on this program, the program disappear from the list of "run without permissions" in internet options explore > manage add-ons > run without the permissions list

  5. one day, I'm working on a word document, and the printer stops abruptly, impression. No amount of turn, or by clicking 'Cancel' will get doc from the printer queue. MS literature said this could be a security issue. The printer says "printing of documents", but no printing at my end.

  This problem is compounded when I delete browsing history and try to refresh the internet Explorer. That activity seems to take pieces of the program Samsung printer with it, even if I had excellent results in the past with Samsung printers and their downloads, and I never had the damaged printer driver to exercise this activity in the past.

  Thanks a lot for your excellent advice. The Techies MS OneCare fixed the popup of HP before I read your message. (I was remiss to check my email...). I'll follow the instructions you sent me and am running the OneCare security right now, online scanner that I already know an excellent and effective tool because it has repaired my MS operating system and programs after that I accidentally deleted parts of the operating system by removing a .dll file, I need or such a thing! I also wanted to thank you for the information about the object of the HP SDP pop-up window. I saved your instructions on how to remove this case, the pop up appears again. One thing I noticed is that, after removal, some keys on my keyboard don't work, and I've read that other HP users encounter the same problem with the keys on the keyboard. The keys that seem to be affected are the keys that automatically open and close the door of the CD burner. Not a problem, because it is another way to open and close the drawer. It's one that HP must improve. In regards to your advice on the printer driver you have been 'right on' new! I reinstalled the driver using my own CD (not the latest driver, but one that works!) I think that the problem with the update of the Samsung driver that I downloaded from the Web site doesn't have some kind of problem. It is very unusual for a driver to Samsung, because I got excellent results with printers Samsung and free updates downloaded from their Web site. The first Samsung printer I had worked so well, for so long as the small rubber roller that takes the paper and it feeds through the printer wore out until the printer is, literally in a 100,000 pages printed after that I bought for about $80.00 dollars! So, I went out and bought another one, and that's what I use now. The printer works fine now, except for some reason, the icon in my taskbar notification area, allow to check the printer the status of jobs, cancel or repeat printing as before. Once. from time to time, a job stuck in the queue for the printer and will not erase unless I unplug the printer from the central unit. Nor will it print. But since I reinstalled the driver, this has happened only once. With the downloaded update, it happened all the time. It is possible that my OS is misconfigured, but I started to run the routine tune ups and analyses using OneCare and unless I used to defragment. I learned that the defragmentation of the hard disk too can cause problems also. The last thing is, I think that sometimes, tiny files needed to run my OS and files other programs can be sent to my temporary folder by accident. MS still once, All_Knowing computer, somehow recognizes the files I need and pushes me to ignore them, but perhaps it does not work for non-Microsoft like Adobe programs. I will use the link in your message to run the fix with the printer driver just to see if it works. If it is not the case, I can always reinstall the driver with my CD that came with the printer.
