No dialog "approve this computer."

Since the 10 update on my 5s iPhone iOS, I have the opposite problem of the loop of 'trust' that many have, in my case, whenever I want to import photos in the Photos app, it says, please press the dialog box "approve this computer" on the iPhone, but there is no dialog box. Without it, I can't unlock the phone, but then I don't have the ability to remove photos when importing...

Greetings jsegel,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I understand that after updating to iOS 10, no longer you receive the alert of confidence on your iPhone when it connects to your computer. I know that it is an important alert, because it allows you to import photos from your iPhone to your computer. I have something I want you to try.

Please see about the alert "to trust this computer" on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, more precisely, this section:

Get help

If you type Trust or don't trust, but iOS do not accept your answer, or if the alert of the trust does not appear, follow these steps. Try again after each:

  1. On your computer, especially with 10 Windows, make sure you have the latest version of iTunes.
  2. Disconnect, then reconnect your iOS device.
  3. Restart your iOS device and your computer.
  4. Reset the settings for your confidence.
  5. On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, go to settings > general > reset > reset Network Settings.*

For more information, contact Apple Support.

See you soon.

  • XP hangs at startup and the dialog box provides the following: a problem has prevented Windows to check exactly the State of this computer

I am rebuilding a system that has been attacked by several viruses and had to rebuild XP using the Windows installation disc.  After completing the repair, I was greeted by the XP logon screen and I tried to log in as administrator. The standard screen grass-hill appears followed by a Windows dialog box to activate product indicating "a problem has prevented windows to check exactly the State of this computer.  To keep your copy of windows must be activated with Microsoft. You want to activate Windows now? "If I choose 'No', then Windows drives me back to the login screen.  If I choose "Yes" then Windows does nothing - activation does not occur and XP does not start... the system just hangs.   I also tried to open a session without failure, but he said that I could not activate safe mode and started back me to the login screen.  I am able to get to a command prompt, if I select Mode safe mode with prompt at startup.  FYI, I am able to view the structure of this version XP Directory when I configure the HARD disk as a slave on another system drive.  Any help to resolve this matter will be highly appreciated.

I have exactly the same problem and after 2 days of searching and trying stuff found on the internet, I have solved this problem.

At my computer configuration: Windows XP sp3 with IExplorer 8, but had to go back to the repair facility after that some system files have been corrupted, do not know why.
My repair CD installation was: Windows XP sp2

In my view, the main problem is that after the installation of repair, the system obtained in conflict of existing versions of IExplorer 7 and 8. IE 7 & 8A prevented the application of activation of MS (OOBE) of working after the installation of repair, the OOBE application silently chrashed and prevented the logon process.

I couldn't connect even in safe mode, BUT with failure + command prompt, safe mode I managed to log on! So, choose the mode without failure + command promt in the trunk. Then open a session with success. Then close the command prompt and press CTRL + ALT + DEL to Task Manager. In task manager launches the new application "c:" and answer 'No' to the following question, and after an error message you c: drive open and you'll have office. You can close the System Restore Wizard who opened. Then go to c:\windows\ie7\spuninst and run spuninst.exe. Do the same to c:\windows\ie8\spuninst. After you have uninstalled both, restart windows, and after the first issue of activation, you should get the big activation dialog box.

I have spent a lot more time, because I was told that uninstall IE7 and IE8 is possible to do this via the command prompt. I did, but it has not fixed my problem. Then I tried a thousand other tricks at the same time.

Please let us now if this helped you.

  • HP ENVY 700-059c: 10 Windows cannot set up a homegroup on this computer

The message I get when I try to put in place a homegroup on this computer is "Windows cannot configure a homegroup on this computer". I tried everything that was suggested on troubleshooting of the forums that I searched the web on this problem but without success. I am trying to create a network with your computer and a Dell 64 bit of Windws 10 laptop.
Two computers on the same workgroup and I can set up a homegroup on the Dell, but when I try to join the homegroup on the HP I get the same error message. It has been suggested that I have delete the Group residential Dell and put in place a new homegroup on the HP, but HP won't let me set up a new group of residential. Where am I wrong?

As I said in my last post, I had no chance to get all of my network to the top, but after going through the fixes proposed by WAWood I realized that fixation on the establishment of a group residential wasn't getting me anywhere. I decided to search the web forums for a solution for the operation of "Peer Networking Grouping" of service, something I had not been able to do (strangely enough by clicking on the button 'Start' a billion times has absolutely nothing) since this mess began. Here are the procedures that seemed most likely to have success. First test was to change the registry using a suggestion of:

    http://www.tenforums.com/network-sharing/9691-computer-can-not-join-create-HomeGroup.html

Modify the key to register IPv6 to enable IPV6
    ==========================
    a. Click Start, type regedit in the search bar and then click regedit in the list programs.
Note: If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.
    b. look for, and then click the following registry subkey:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\TCPIP6\Parameters
    c. check whether the "DisabledComponents" registry key exists. If so, move on the next steps.
    d. double-click "DisabledComponents" registry key and change the value to 0.
(If the key does not exist, please create the above key and assign a value of 0)
    e. exit the registry editor and then restart the computer.

So far no change. On the next dose of:

    http://blogs.technet.com/b/Win7/archive/2011/02/16/quot-peer-name-resolution-protocol-quot-service-could-not-be-started-and-HomeGroup-is-not-working.aspx

    1. from the high CMD prompt, type the following command:

    net stop p2pimsvc /y

    2 delete the following file:

    'C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Roaming\PeerNetworking\idstore.sst '.

    3. restart the computer.

These two patches, apparently has not changed anything, but when I went back to Services and double clicked on grouping network of peers, and then clicked on the 'Connect' tab I found that the "Local System account" is selected and the box "Allow service to interact with desktop" was checked. Since I knew my many visits in this tab that it wasn't the way it was configured initially, I checked the properties of the service directly under it (Peer Networking Identity Manager) the tab 'Connect' showed that this account has been selected, and the term "Local Service" was in the right text box to the right of this account. In the two boxes just below this text box were two boxes labeled password and confirm password boxes contained 14 points. I decided it looked a lot like what I remember that the log on tab of the properties of "Peer Networking Grouping" dialog box has been initially configured. I returned to the journal of Peer Networking Grouping tab and made properties the following steps.

Chose "This account" and deselect "Local System account".

"Local Service" text typed into the text box next to "this account".

Delete all the points in the 'Password' and 'Confirm password' boxes

    Clicked on apply

Clicked on the tab general and click the button start (Yay he actually started)

    Restarted the computer

From there on, I was able to set up a homegroup, and then I was able to reach him this homegroup on my laptop connected wireless and viola, I have a network.

Thanks to WAWood for set me on the path to try to get the 'Peer Networking Grouping' service running as my ultimate goal.

  • Windows wireless service is not running on this computer

I have a Gateway laptop running 32-bit Vista SP2 I can't connect to wireless networks. One day, I had no problems and the next, I am unable to find all the networks.  When I try to connect to a network, I get a message that Windows cannot find any network.  When diagnosing why link is clicked I get an error dialog box "Windows Wireless Service is not running on this computer. When the Windows network diagnostics dialogue box I click on 'Start Windows Wireless Service' and then told me that Windows cannot resolve the problem and ask contact me my network administrator or ISP.

    Hello

1 have you checked the State of the wireless autoconfiguration WLAN service in the services window?
    2. do you have any security software installed on the computer?
    3. have you made changes on the computer recently?

We will first try to manually start the wireless service, i.e. the WLAN AutoConfig service. To do this, connect to the computer as an administrator.
    1. Click Start, type services.msc and press to enter.
    2. Locate the autoconfiguration WLAN service, double-click to open its properties window.
    3. on the general tab, change the startup type to automatic and click on the Start button.
    4. click on apply, then ok.

Try to connect to the wireless connection and check the result.

If the service still does not start, run the System File Checker tool to scan the computer for the corrupt system files and automatically correct. To run a sfc scan, try the steps mentioned in this link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833

For more information on the wireless settings, see this link: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb878035.aspx

  • Problem connecting Dlink - the connection with this computer still only shows "Local".

My Dlink wifi can connect to all of my other computers, with the exception of a laptop Fujitsu running Vista. Only the connection to this computer always shows "Local".

Dlink and Fujitsu point to another, and Microsoft has no viable solution. Help!

    Hi AlLohUX,

Thanks for posting your query in the Microsoft Community Forums.

According to the description of the problem provided, I understand that you are unable to connect to the network on the Windows vista computer. Wifi connection Dlink says local only.

You can follow the steps below and check if that helps you solve the problem.

    Method 1

Try to power cycle the router and the computer and check if it helps.

    On the PC:

Save your work and restart the machine.

On the router or the modem:

    1. Unplug the router and the modem.
    2. Wait 30 seconds.
    3. Plug in the modem and wait for it to come to the ready state.
    4. Plug in the router.

After you put cycle check the connection between the router and the computer.

    Method 2

If the steps above do not help, you can reset the TCP/IP stack. To reset access the link below and either click on "Fix it for me" or follow the instructions to fix it yourself: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/299357

    (a) disable the IP helpdesk:

    (b) hold Windows key and type R, type "services.msc" (without the quotes) and press enter

    (c) scroll down to the IP assistance service, right-click on it and select Properties
In the drop-down list box that says "Automatic" or "Manual", set it to disabled and then click 'apply'.

    (d) then click on 'Stop' to stop the service from running in the current session
Click OK to exit the dialog box

Also, check out the help articles and check.

  • autologin Windows 7 without box "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer"

My dialog box user accounts does not the box "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" and how do I turn it on?

    Hello Russ,

You can continue with the following steps to support.  However, if your computer is on a domain, unfortunately, there's nothing we can do.  You will need to contact the system/network administrator.  TechNet forums can be beneficial for a resolution on your http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-us/category/w7itproinquiry.  Please create a Restore Point and backup of the registry before proceeding.

    1. click on start, run, type regedit, and then click OK.
    2. look for the following registry key:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
    3. with the help of your account name and password, double-click the DefaultUserName entry, type your user name, and then click OK.
    4. double-click the DefaultPassword entry, type your password in the value data box, and then click OK.

If there is no DefaultPassword value, create the value. To do this, follow these steps: a. in the registry editor, click on edit, click New, and then click String value.
    b. Type DefaultPassword as the value name, and press ENTER.
    c. double-click the newly created key, and then type your password in the value data box.
If no DefaultPassword string is specified, Windows XP automatically changes the value of the AutoAdminLogon registry key by replacing 1 (true) to 0 (false) to turn off the AutoAdminLogon feature.
5 double-click the AutoAdminLogon entry, type 1 in the value data box, and then click OK.

If there is no AutoAdminLogon entry, create the entry. To do this, follow these steps: a. in the registry editor, click on edit, click New, and then click String value.
    b. type AutoAdminLogon as the value name, and press ENTER.
    c. double-click the newly created key, and then type 1 in the value data box.

    6. exit the registry editor.
    7. click on start, click on restart and then click OK.
