  Is it smart to upgrade to the maximum ram and what type of memory should I update? In addition, my computer can even support 16gbs of ram? I have receieved conflicting information about it and I need to check the info I got is correct. I will include a picture of my computer listing of Speccy.

  There are a few suggestions on crucial, such as the Crucial Ballistix Sport 8 GB Kit (4GBx2) DDR3-1600 UDIMM LP or the Crucial Ballistix Sport 8 GB Kit UDIMM DDR3-1600 (4GBx2) or 8 GB Crucial Kit UDIMM DDR3-1600 (4GBx2) and so on. (I don't know if you can see the recommended memory when you view my scan. I guess you can, but might as well include some of them that I'm interested in.)

  The funny thing is, I was about to buy this one right before I posted this, but I just wanted to see what others thought and if I'm right that my pc supports this amount of RAM. Thanks for the suggestion and response

• Pavilion P6610f Desktop Tower a ticking noise, can turn back be opened while still running?

  HP Pavilion p6610f desktop win 8 64 bit since my hard drive has failed and a friend of a friend installed another hard drive and insisted on the fact that I install Win 8 instead of 7, (I hate Win 8), there is a click inside the tower and I also hear something that seems to hold the bike to the top then then down every few seconds, the ticking is almost every second. I checked the power that I knew how. Configuration and System Device Manager and it says disk hard does not work properly and is no need for an updated driver. But everything is so slow and things don't work a lot of the time, the internet will not load or merely far sometimes but convenience store network says it is connected and functional. I sometimes can't features to not work the control panel.  I tried the diagnosis of memory in the administration settings, but it wouldn't work. Before I could get my Win 7 backup files on Win 8, PC showed that I had 220 GB of 232 GB memory left possible on the replacement hard drive. I have 4 GB of Ram on a 16 possible and I thought shoud get more. I was just wondering can I have the back off the coast of the Tower during its execution so that I can see that actually the sounds before investing in another hard drive and memory cards? I'm so unhappy with my computer that I love even more to use it and I used to stay on 10 to 16 hours a day.  I don't have microsoft nhave word more and I miss the fonts that he used and for a reason that these fonts are missing off the coast of my e-mail program when they were there before the failure and the loss of MS Word IE fonts.   I bought a new HP Pavilion p6813w refurbished (with a card mother Foxconn N-Alvorix-RS880-Μatx) and am disappointed by the performance of the stock processor, the best 95w I can find is a Phenom II x 4 960 t, but it is not listed as a taken processor supported, it will not work in my PC?

  The kernel is not a Deneb, but I read that it is based on the x 6 Thuban core (which is supported by the mobo)

  This is the original factory specifications for your desktop HP Pavilion p6813w. Based on this information, it seems that your HP p6813w uses the same card mother-N-Alvorix-RS880-formfat (Alvorix) which is in my desktop HP Pavilion p7-1026. My HP p7-1026 uses an HP AMD Phenom II X 4 840 T CPU factory installed and so your computer should support an AMD Phenom II x 4 960 t CPU since they are based on the same core Zosma (read 4 strands Thuban).

  I have a HP Pavilion p6115y desktop computer. Windows 7 64 bit dual core AMD processor. 4 GB of ram with integrated Nvidia 9100 video. I just bought an EVGA GTS450 and found that it requires a 400w power supply. My p6115y is supplied with a 300w ps. What ps would be necessary and would be the case? This may damage the motherboard by uping the ps? Should I exchange the GTS 450 for something lower? Hope not because I want to run SKYRIM and I feel a little studdering with Oblivon.

  You might want to look at the requirements system recommeded for SkyRim.

  Review the specifications of performance ATI and NVIDIA . Look at the specifications of strip memory bandwidth and level of DirectX support.

  PSU Corsair CX500 will adapt to your PC and has enough power for most video cards except the higher end video cards.

  For a video card, ATI 6850 is a very good buy at $130 after rebate.

  Open your PC and do some measuring to ensure that the map will adjust (it should).  The adjacent slot on the PCI-E x 16 slot must be vacant.

  Are you sure of that model #?  I found it listed hereandhere as a PATA/IDE hard drive. Not a good choice!

  That being said, here are my suggestions.

  You need an internal Sata DVD + RW (there be DL mode) and the necessary cabling. Power supply not having a spare power cord Sata, but it wil have the molex 4 pin. You also need a Sata data cable.
