No. P50 - A BIOS satellite after upgrade to 8.1
Before updating the windows 8.1 I could enter the system BIOS by pressing F2 early in the boot process. After the upgrade this no longer works. It seems that the "quick start" option has been reactivated and I want to disable it.
How can I get into my BIOS now?
It seems that a few reboots are needed. Perhaps to complete the updates. The F2 key worked after that.

Satellite L550: BIOS settings after upgrade of security suite
I have two of my machines restarted two nights there after an upgrade to my security suite.
Now my office restarted without a hitch and the upgrade went through without incident.
However my L550 rebooted to a screen called "Phoenix SecureCore Tiano Setup" and I notice in the BIOS system Toshiba 1.70.Now knowing what to do, I ran across the screens that lists the components that were in the machine and after that just after the installation itself.
Now the machine reboot ok and it seems to work more quickly - I have no beef with that, but I would have thought that Toshiba would have warned me that it was about to happen.I'm a bit experienced user and vaguely knowing what can be done with the BIOS settings and not knowing how to do these were my insides run at a gallop.
What is the go with that?
I now have to Phoenix BIOS instead of Toshiba and it's this kind of thing is going to happen in the future as a warning would be really appreciated by people like me!Hello
Support L550 Phoenix BIOS but its modified by Toshiba.
It s nothing unusual each laptop manufacturer to set the BIOS for the purposes of the laptop.
To be honest I n t have any experience with the Phoenix SecureCore Tiano and cannot say anything about the modified BIOS options. However, each BIOS can be set to the default settings.
So in all cases, you are able to load the default options in the BIOS.I'm not sure what button you press to get the default settings (I guess that F10) but this info is always mentioned at the bottom of the BIOS screen.

Satellite A300 - BIOS downgrade after upgrading the BIOS
I did an upgrade of BIOS of victory of version 1.6 of 2.10 - at the recommendation of the Toshiba site, for my laptop A300 1N0 - model PSAGUE.
Touchpad no longer works. I have 2 operating systems, XP and W7 is the same.I start the laptop with the Windows Live CD and Ubuntu Livecd and nothing has changed.
The mouse works, but the touchpad is still dead.
Any advice? How can I find the old version of the BIOS to do a downgrade?
Try contacting the Toshiba authorized service provider in your country. They have access to the database of Toshiba and the access to the Archives of BIOS.
I'm sure that they can send you old BIOS version and you can downgrade BIOS on your laptop. -
small business of HP dc 7700: 1801 bios error after upgrading processor
I upgraded the processor of pentium dual core E5200 @ 2500 Hz. After all biosupdates, I still get the error from the bios 1801 on the revision of the processor. The processor is now set to 2500 Hz, before the updates, it was 1800 Hz as the old processor was. But I can't get the error removed. Suggestions?
added: the system is slow now.
Hello:
I could run the last update of firmware and see if that fixes the problem.
Microcode update is a complicated business, but I simplified it for you...
Tools you will need... usb flash drive of at least 1 MB in size.
I have attached all the files you need below. You will need to unzip them into their records.
1. make the bootable flash drive. Insert the flash drive into your PC and run sp27608.
2 once the tool formats the flash drive and make it bootable, copy the contents of the folder BACK to the flash drive system. All the contents of the file, not the file.
3 copy the contents of the file in the folder BACK flash in the usb flash drive. Once again, just the contents of the file, not the file.
4 restart the computer, press the F9 key and select the USB in the list of bootable devices.
5. the PC should boot from the USB and will take you to a command prompt.
6. at the command prompt, type Flashbin.exe and press the Enter key.
7 follow the instructions on the screen to update the firmware.

C855 satellite can not boot from battery after upgrading W8-W10 Home >;
Hi all
I have a problem really strang after upgrade my C855 Satellite of Windows 8 to 10 of windows. After the upgrade, I can't boot my system of battery only. With the adapter, I had no poblem.
I bought a new battery, but it still had the same problem. Cannot start system battery only.
The following steps, I was
- Got the latest Bios Update
- Used a new battery
- Do the powerless laptop (detach battery and adapter) and hold the power button for 15-20 seonds. After that return battery and adapter
- Do seals in my power, parameters of balanced energy vice versa
Is there anyone who has had the same problem or can advise me?
Thanks in advance for the help
Hi Repairlab
You are not alone. I currently have a C50 Sat with exactly the same problem, with the exception of the upgrade. My problem started before I upgraded to 10. Like you, I can start with the battery and using taking current, but which is rubbish for a laptop.
I didn't upgrade the bios but the laptop does not recognize when the battery is connected and the bios update tool continues to ask for it (VERY annoying ToshIba if you already read your forums).
I was trawl through these forums looking for a solution, but there are 0 replies on the vast majority of positions. Not even ToshIba engineers seem to have a presence. In any case, did you ever solved the problem, and if so can you please share?
Thank you.

Satellite L100 113 starts slowly after upgrade memory
Hello
Toshiba Satellite L100 113 PSLA3E-02401JRU starts slowly after upgrade memory with Kingston KTT533D2-512 (512 MB) of memory.
When I press the 'power' button, it flashes, starts the fans and HARD drive several times. Then it shows BIOS start messages by memory full 768 MB and starts Windows XP without a problem.
This behavior is noticed only after "shut down."
It does not happen with "restart".
What can I do to eliminate this long "attempts" to start my laptop computer?Thank you
Novomir KovalenkoHello
This problem appears before upgrade memory?
Have you used exactly the same memory modules?
If this isn't the case, then perhaps there are a few compatibility issues.Usually, after the insertion of the modules you must enter the BIOS and then save the settings. Please it and eventually the laptop will start without any problems.

Satellite A660 - 10 X - no boot after upgrading RAM 8 GB, but 4 GB + 2 GB only
Hello
Today I bought two sticks of Kingston 4 GB DDR3 1066 MHz CL7 and I'm trying to replace my 2 GB ones, but something is wrong.
If I put two sticks of 4 GB laptop does not start. I have the latest version of the BIOS (1.80). I have restored the default settings after upgrade.
But it's quite strange, because if I put a strip of 4 GB and a 2 GB stick system starts and everything is fine (with memtest86 + too). But there is still one thing: 4 GB stick should be rolled in the dock before, above second, 2 GB module. If I reverse cell phone memory will not start again.
Is - everyone knows how to solve my problem? Is this a BIOS problem? BIOS version which A660 takes in charge the amount of 8 GB of RAM with no problems? I can downgrade from the BIOS, because I don't know if Toshiba help update.
Thanks in advance.
Is this exact module the same 4 GB RAM listed on THIS page?

Audio lost after upgrade to Vista on a Satellite Pro A120 PSAC1E
Hello
I just upgraded to vista and I lost my audio. I tried all the latest orders, still no luck. The pc says the driver is installed and the device works correctly, but I can't hear anything. Volume is 100% also.
Any ideas?
Well, first of all how someone should provide advice, if you n t write anything on the name cell phone you! ???
Then please provide more details on your laptop!I noticed the same problem on the satellite U200. After upgrading from XP to Vista there is no sound, but the audio driver has been correctly installed and audio chipset has also been recognized correctly.
After a long investigation, I found a solution here in the forum.
First, it was important to increase the volume to the maximum with XP installed. Together sound controls must also be set to max.
Be sure to use the RIGHT driver sound after the new installation of Vista.

Have Toshiba upgrade disks used and all uninstalled programs that he asked me to do it before installing Windows. Model is L300-215 and laptop worked OK before upgrading to Windows 7. Have you tried the drivers audio and graphics of the site Web of Toshiba (old version of what was on the laptop after upgrade), but always the same question :-(

When you get exactly this BSOD? Happens immediately or if you start a certain application?
Have you checked for yellow exclamation marks Device Manager? Maybe a driver isn t working properly and you should update it.
Also make sure that your BIOS is up to date. You can download the latest version on the Toshiba site.
Last but not least blue screen often associated drivers or memory modules defective RAM. The latter you can check using Memtest86.

Judgment of A60 Pro satellite after 15 minutes after the update of the BIOS
I made an update of the Bios via Widows Xp BIOS version 1.90
Now, there is no keep turn off after 15-20 minutes.I upgraded the memory to 1 GB, but I tried the old memory and it's always the same.
As with the battery or the power supply. Is there a way I can get the old firmware?
See you soon
Steve
I think there is no way to recover your older version of BIOS that you can not download it. Is the only option that you have, take your laptop to ASP and let them Downgrader your BIOS.
Furthermore, you have improved your memory before or after upgrading the BIOS?

Hello

Satellite A300.
Has performed the update to Win7 upgrade Toshiba program.This program works;
TRDC reminder and Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator after update to Wins7?The TRDCReminder program found no "revival of the computer.
Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator program was created and incomprehensible? If what these program how to recover your computer in case of failure?
TEMPRO works in Win7?Thank you very much.
With greetings.Igor.
Hello Igor
In my opinion, you must create recovery disk before upgrade you to Win7. I did the same thing.
Later, if something goes wrong, you can use your disks and install Vista using the created recovery disks.I don't understand why you want to wait and create these disks after upgrade. This recovery creator disc doesn t create recovery image in the current state, but always the same recovery image, you got with your laptop.
TEMPRO should work in Win7 too.
