  Check the status of the device in Device Manager. Follow the steps for the same thing:

  a. click on start

  b. click Run, in the Run dialog box type devmgmt.msc

  c. in the Device Manager window, locate the USB key and expand the drive, double-click the sub element to check if an error message or error code is listed.

  If there is no error message highlight Bus USB controllers and then click Action select check for material changes.

  seehcri.sys is a driver of Sony Ericsson.

  1 rolling back the drivers on ALL of the hubs USB which showed they used Sony Ericsson drivers (Device Manager > expand Bus USB Controllers > right click on USB root hub > properties)

  2 uninstall the SEEHCRI devices by selecting the option remove device driver software (or words to that effect)

  3. then go to your Windows\System32 folder and delete the SEEHCRI. SYS file.

  4. reboot, Windows will detect new hardware and 2 SEEHCRI devices will return to normal USB hubs when you allow Windows looking for new drivers.

  If you cannot roll back the drivers in step 1, or Windows does not find the drivers in step 4, you will need to reinstall them from the original motherboard driver disk for your computer or on the manufacturer's website.

  Last week, I bought toshiba L650D-100 with windows 7, 64 bit. Everything is good, but the USB ports work strange:

  USB mouse works ok at a port and does not to another. It is not in the windows Device Manager, but if I connect or disconnect the device, it sounds "ding".
  With USB storage there is another problem: it appears in Device Manager and it is shown that drivers are ok and the device are working properly, but if I try to open it in Explorer, it crashes, green progress bar grows and stops at the end. This problem appears in the two ports.

  If I reboot laptop with usb storage pluged, it can start to work correctly, but if I unplug and plug again the problem reappear.

  Usb storage and usb mice work well on another computer. I've updated the bios, but it does not help.

  Help, please. Maybe I should try to reinstall the chipset driver? If so, where could I get?

  All 3 ports on my Asus laptop don't work, here is the error message in the Device Manager ' a driver (service) for this device has been disabled.  Another driver can provide this functionality. (Code 32) ». Check updates, tried to uninstall & reinstall the drivers, nothing helps. The error message makes me think that perhaps something has disabled drivers, I might have accidentally downloaded a program that attempts to control the usb ports? Urrgh computers, not very good at this sort of thing talk in the language of the toddler please!

  I suggest you add updates at a time, until find you that is causing the problem.  Then uninstall it and install the rest.

  I understand that shift key of your MacBook Pro does not respond as before. Fortunately the steps below can help to restore the functionality of the SHIFT key on your Mac.

  1. In the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
  2. On the view menu, choose the speech.
  3. Click on the text to Speech tab.
  4. If "Text Speak selected when you press the button" is enabled, the key or combination of keys set to read the text cannot be used for other purposes, or used for typing text - click on set the key and replace it with a less commonly used key combination (try using the modifier such as SHIFT keys, command) Option and control).   Why doesn't HP have updated the drivers for a Macbook Pro 10.6.8 Snow Leopard?  I couldn't find one for 10.5 or 10.6 Leopard.  I tried everything I could find. I found a note on the edge of Disussion which suggested someone try a driver for another HP printer may be similar.  I found if I used the full program for Macbook Pro 10.6 Leopard I could scan.  The fax appeared to be installed via blue tooth.  I have not faxed anything, but it has been tested during the installation of the program.  Complete program of the HP I can't print.  I loaded via Apple an another whick of printer HP Officejet 8500 A910 allows me to print.  It is the only way that I could make use of my HP printer, scanner and fax.  Crazy, but I think it works and I can put some scans and, hopefully, fax to my Macbook Pro.  I appreciate the help.  Please encourage the HP programs and drivers for my Macbook Pro Snow Leopard 10.6.8.

  You really don't need the CD of installation anyway.  The only thing you need is the serial number that comes with the drive.  Just download the trial version and install it.  Activate with serial number, which're you good to go.  You may still download in order to have the latest version.
