Not able to print

I am not able to print.  my printer is connected to the network and my computer is connected to the network, but it will not be printed.  When I use the hp troubleshoot it says it is not connected.

I have a desktop hp 6500 has more and an ACER aspire 5732Z running windows 7

I rebooted, both, checked the ip address and went through all the online troubleshooting.  I'm ready to pull my hair is at - there someone who can help me please?

    You need to provide a little more information... and it is unclear what you mean by "after successful download" even though I think you mean that you believe that you have successfully installed the printer.

    When you installed the printer did you leave the printer NOT connected until you are prompted to connect by the installation software or did you first connect the printer to the computer and then install the software?

    What happens when you try to print? If you get an error message, please provide the full text without paraphrase.

    In Windows XP's default Photo Viewer is Windows Picture
    and Fax Viewer... and it has options of printing photos.

    Try right click on a thumbnail of the photo or the name of the file and see if you
    can choose... Open with / Windows Picture and Fax Viewer.
    The print icon located at the bottom of the screen...

    In addition, when you have a photo displayed in the Windows image and
    Fax Viewer... you can type... CTRL + P to print the Photo
    Assistant.

    Also, if you right click on a photo thumbnail or file name of the menu
    should include a print option.

    What of even weirder is now, that the right printer printed among the papers that I tried to print. (I did a cycle of the printer and the router prior). So I tried another document and printed it after waiting a short while.  The part that bothers me is that when I ran printing HP and Scan Doctor later, he came with a message saying that it was impossible to connect to my printer. So there is no sense of why he does not communicate on my printer but just in case, he began to print something wireless in my computer.     As you can see I'm getting 2 different error messages, but I have no idea on what step I need to take next. I tried many things such as removing and adding the printer, firmware update (however HP program is quite vague, so I don't know if I've done this good), etc. of Windows updates.

    There are several devices that use the printer (including other users of Win10) but I'm the only one with this problem so I am convinced that it is a local error. I got the error a few weeks now, but still no improvement.

    I've tried, but it did not work. I found a solution, although I'm not entirely sure of what went around or causing the problem.

    First, I tried to reinstall the printer software/driver (?) that you usually get when you enter the IP address of the printer and the HP smart install. I got the software from my brother who put it on my pc by Onedrive and e-mail. However, I could not run the file because Windows somehow he blocked for security reasons because the developer has not been approved. I couldn't disable the blocking, so I did some research on Google. I read something about a hidden administrator account, you can activate, but decided to wait a bit.

    Apaprently, as of yesterday, no one could use the printer (although my problems before that). We found his IP address online so I plugged the USB from the printer directly in our modem. Then he has been brought back online, and he remained in line when we removed the USB later.

    I had activated the administrator account "secret" (assuming that it is some kind of hidden because it took activation CMD) where I downloaded the printer driver by entering the IP address in the browser on this account. Don't know how or why, but then I was able to print again.

    I don't know if you need to turn on this admin account to fix or if this file is a solution in the first place, but I solved the problem.

    Hi, is what happens in all programs you try and print since? Here is how I was able to print a PDF file to the envy of 4500 without using a color ink:

    File-> Print-> properties-> paper / quality-> advanced-> Options of Document-> grayscale printing: black ink only

    Wanted to just contact you and let you know that I could get this problem is resolved.  The problem came from Norton Internet Security.  There was a problem with Norton and I needed to uninstall and reinstall.  Once I did that the printer started working again.  Thanks for your help.
