• Satellite S70 - Numlock issue after upgrade to Windows 10

  Hello

  I just upgraded my S70 to windows windows 10 8.
  Everything seemed ok except that now when I press numlock the computer just beeps and the light comes on and off.

  The keypad is actually useless now (direction feature is present regardless of the State of the num lock key).
  There are no updated drivers and my laptop has its language settings for the keyboard like Qwerty of the United Kingdom.

  When I look at the overview of keyboard I don't see in the diagram of a keyboard. Can someone help me please the most frustrating.

  Maybe you should disable the light below the F11 key.
  Use the FN + F11 key combination to disable this.

  As much as I know there is no certain special option to turn on the num lock and you can not define is as default to be always enabled. Extra keypad on the keyboard is designed for use with different applications such as Office Excel and allow you an entry comfortable numbers in some document.

  On my laptop (P500), I noticed that when I turn off laptop with active NumLock will be on next start so let is all the TIME.

  It's pretty easy mate.

  Follow these steps:

  -Keep right SHIFT> key for about 10 seconds.
  A messagebox will appear (FilterKeys settings) and offer a menu:
  -Click the [settings] button and a new window will appear.
  - Remove the tag [x] of [Use ToggleKeys].
  -Click [OK] to save your changes
  You're done :)

  Here's the original specifications and options cconfigurable for your desktop HP Pavilion p6 - 2220 t CTO. Please see 'settings BIOS for the mother Cupertino3' to set the "State NumLock to ignition' on 'ON' BIOS. This setting is found under the tab 'Advanced' menu > 'Device Options' menu > 'Num Lock State at Power-On' as shown below.

  

  If you want that one 'Num Lock' default in Windows... Please toggle the 'Num Lock' until it is turned on, then logout and restart Windows. This should save the State of 'Num Lock' in Windows as WE.

  If your laptop is under warranty you can get for free a new keyboard. Simply contact an authorized service provider and explain the situation. Guys will help get rid you of this :)

  This option is not available. I have Satellite P200 and numlock option must be activated each time.
  But it should not be so problematic. ;)

  Hi, I'm trying to find how to activate the NumLock to be on the start up.

  Looked in the BIOS and no setting for lock seen at all, on references from Web site to the evolution of the value 1 or 2 in the HKEY_USERS\Default\Control Panel\Keyboard but my value is not 1, but instead, said 2147483648 and worried if I change this 2 it could cause problems and cannot be reset back.

  tried to find solutions for Pavilion G6 on the web and overall doesn't seem accurate solutions, someone has any ideas? Reason for needing the NUMLOCK is that I use pine to access my login information to connect to the laptop.

  Are you running the factory settings or you have installed your own version of Windows?
  Please check this on the factory settings and the keyboard layout in the Panel.

  Also, make sure that you use the latest version of the BIOS. Here you can check if you have the latest version:

• NB100 - where is numlock?

  I worked with a NB100 today and discovered that the keys j, k and l product numbers 1, 2 and 3.
  Even with all the keys that surrounds them. These keys were tiny figures on the leading edge of the keys, so I pressed on the function key, and of course, that produces j, k and l (etc.), BUT while the function key is pressed. Being a guy very smart, searched everywhere, hired the keyboard for the NumLock key, which I thought was accidentally. Hmm, not of this key.

  The possible combinations with the function key that could turn this feature on or off are of course endless, but I tried Fn N Fn Alt N Fn # and many others, and is not disappointment in my prediction that it would give no results. :-(

  I tested it on my Satellite P200D and it did not work for me.
  To be honest I don't see as so important because one key click you can turn on/off pad.
