OfficeJet 6700 Premium: Conflict of driver HP Officejet 6700 Premium

I've had the printer for a few years, working first on a laptop different HP who has since died.

After receiving the new computer (HP Envy 15) I installed the printer software using the supplied floppy. For about 3-4 months, I had no problems, but from November my printer wouldn't work so I uninstalled the software and reinstalled by using the online media kit.

This was the beginning of my problems. Since then, every week 1-2 the printer just doesn't work. When executing doctor Scan it shows that I have a driver conflict. I used doctor Scan to uninstall and reinstall the software and everything is fine for a week or two, and then it stops working and I get the "driver conflict" error again.

I tried to uninstall manually and reinstall using my provided printer disc but that did nothing different than doing online and through doctor scan.

Help, please!

I don't want to keep to uninstall and reinstall every week or two!

Thank you

Wally

Hi @WallDiver and welcome to the Forums of HP!

I see that you have problems of driver issues.  I would like to help!

I would say uninstalling the software of the printer.

Once it is uninstalled, I suggest you put your system in clean boot mode in the configuration of Microsoft.  You can do this by following this document: How to perform a clean boot in Windows.

Once the computer is in clean boot mode, I would suggest to reinstall the HP printer install wizard for Windows.

Good luck and please let me know the results of your troubleshooting operations. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

What you describe, it seems that the USB cable is connected to the computer until the installation software asked for the connection.  In this case the generic Windows drivers and the HP drivers will try to install and collide with another.  I would like to Uninstall the printer and software.  Then reinstall of a fresh software download and make you wait for the software to ask the USB connection.  Let me know what happens.

  • OfficeJet 100: Officejet 100 print legal size paper?

    Hello

I hope that there could be a solution for this. Several users here have a problem with their printers Officejet 100 legal-size paper printing. Below is part of an email I received about this which explains it better that I could.

«Apparently some of the reps there have problems printing their contracts of legal size on their mobile printers HP Officejet 100.» It's happened for quite a while. The printer recognizes the document as the legal document, but printing is disabled: it begins printing in the middle of the image.

VRP have found a solution: they must go to the printer properties and choose explicitly legal paper in the drop size. It is already selected by default, but if they select manually it will print correctly. The problem is that: 1) it is a manual workaround, they must do so for EACH print, and 2) they frequently forget and have to reprint. »

They have already tried to install latest print drivers, but that has not helped. Printers seem to operate normally except for this. What could be the cause of this?

    Thank you.

  • OfficeJet 4630 cannot print from Word 2013

    Hello!

I bought a printer all-in-one Officejet 4630 a few months ago, and all went well until a few days ago: all of a sudden, I was unable to print Word files (2013), or Notepad files ("the parameter is incorrect" message).

Printing of PDF files and anything from the Web works fine.

I did not make any significant changes to my computer or a printer.

I am running Windows 8.1 on a HP Pavilion laptop.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall the printer several times.

I ran printing HP and doctor Scan, and it tells me to reinstall the device software, what I do, without result.

I checked each forum help on the subject.

    Nothing works.

Anyone, anywhere, has a solution to this problem?

    Hey @LadySteph12,

I understand that you get the error message "the parameter is incorrect" when you try to print Word and Notepad on your computer Windows 8.1 to your HP Officejet 4630 e-all-in-one printer. • Help! USB6008 card driver conflict?

I don't use usb6008 more than a year with DAQmx 9.1.7 no problem.

P0.0 output (Hi or Lo) served as the external switch.

Months ago, I bought the new usb6008 (it came with DAQmx 9.5.1).

I tried to use new usb6008 with the system (which has DAQmx 9.1.7) and

I found that the P0.0 port does not change its State. He Hi kept all the time.

Then I tested the new 6008 with measurement and Automation Explorer - digital output

selection section all the exits then P0.0 changed to hi lo, and this has worked, changed to Lo!

It's my mystery: why newly purchased USB does not work with the system.

who has DAQmx 9.1.7? I just swapped the USB6006, all the others are the same!

What is the conflict of Driver? It's confusing... Any idea or suggestion?

    Thank you.

Does the program in your system hard-code the name of the device (by default, 'Dev1'), perhaps?

Devices are automatically named according to the order that the pilot sees assuming that the default values and have no other aircraft OR, your first USB-6008 would be 'Dev1' and your second USB-6008 "Dev2.

Try to use MAX to rename your new USB-6008 "Dev1", or whatever your old USB-6008 had been called. (You will need to delete or rename the old USB-6008 MAX.)

  • DeskJet 2510: Conflict of printer HP DeskJet 2510 in Windows 7 64 bit driver

I just changed my PC of Windows XP Home Edition on a new computer running Windows 7 64 bit. I installed the printer DeskJet 2510 from CD/online and it was fine apart from a lot of errors in the event viewer: -.

"The print spooler failed to load a plug-in module C:\Windows\system32\spool\DRIVERS\x64\3\UNIDRVUI. DLL, error 0xc1 code. See the user context information for event data.

Go to the web search, it appeared that maybe the solution is to reinstall the driver that I've done, uninstall and then reinstall completely the basic feature software. Since the relocation (several times now!) the doctor of printing & scanning HP reported a conflict printer driver and suggesting that uninstalling and reinstalling are necessary! As I introduced him through this loop several times I wonder if there is a bug somewhere.

The Print Test page is fine and everything seems to work properly except continuing to error messages like above, up to 4 at the same time, mainly when printing envelopes from MS Word.

I just tried this so I'll get back to you when I reinstalled again!

So for my h9 - 1120t Phoenix office I decided to replace Windows 7 with Windows 8.1.

The transition went very well, but I'm having a problem with the onboard LAN. I'm going to stay connected to the internet for about 10 minutes, then the computer disconnects and will not detect at all connections.

I also used a USB LAN adapter and a job without problem so I think that there is a conflict of driver with Windows 8. Is there a way to fix this?

    Go to the Device Manager

  • Re: Satellite A660 - 11 M - Random freezing after the installation of recovery

    Hello

I recently bought an A660 - 11 m, which I was happy for a few months and then it started to crash/freeze randomly in windows. I'd do something and then it just would freeze indefinitely, requiring a second 5 press the power button to turn it off manually. The fan and hard drives would continue to work if he did something, or they wouldn't be if I was not doing something at the time (this has happened four times). After that it's the only thing to do would be to reinstall the entire operating system by using the manufacturers recovery disk. The computer will then work fine for a few days or a few weeks (never more than 2 weeks) and it would be demanding full gel reinstall again. I had reinstall my programs every time but I stopped on the last 2 times and it made no difference.

After that the computer crashed it would then refuse to boot into windows. It would be still stuck just at the moment where the sign of windows appears. I would like to know that he had crashed as the 4 colored dots appear. The computer would simply wants at this point, continually getting stuck there after the reboot of several manual. Once and only once it booted into windows on its own, but it took almost 30 minutes and the computer is very slow and unresponsive. The computer will sometimes start in safe mode, but it varies. I tried Startup Repair tool and all stages of system restore, but none of these work.

I got to use Acronis true image10 and creating an image of the system which can then replace the whole computer in all 25mins. This saves me time, rather than wait 2 hours or whatever it is to reinstall the toshiba, but becomes quite ridiculous to have to keep re install every two weeks.

I also tried to buy a stand-alone copy of windows 7 (while recording an image of the partition of toshiba in the case where I need) I think it might be due to all toshiba programs and other bits and pieces that are installed on the computer - it makes much faster startup, but the computer still crashes the same after awhile.

I am sure its some ware conflicts or driver pretty hard, but I don't know what.

    Any help please!

    Rob

    Hi Rob,

I m also do not know what exactly is the problem and I believe that no one here can say that just because it s just a user to user forum.

Fact is that if you have already tried restore factory Toshiba recovery disc multiple times, it s not a software or driver issue because it s an image pre-tested by Toshiba.

I guess it must be a hardware malfunction and therefore, you should contact a service provider for help. Guys can check your laptop and if it of under warranty, the repair is free.

You can find a list of aspic here:

  • Satellite A500 - sound distortion

    Hello!
I bought a Satellite A500 - 17 X a week ago, and until now it works almost perfect because I have a little problem.
When I listen to music or play a game sometimes I hear the sound with a sort of distortion.
For example when Im listening to music and do other things on my laptop sometimes the song is with distortion
but only for a short period like 1-2 seconds.
It happens also when I turn on my PC because I wrote my password there a bit of distortion on the 'Windows Login sound' If you know what I mean.
I don't know what could be the problem but I read something in this forum where some people said it's a conflict of driver nvidia or something.

And another thing, I want to ask is why my speakers are not as strong as I thought they would be, because before buying it, I saw some videos on youtube where the sound is louder than my laptop, and sometimes I think that when I play a song that the beginning of the song is strong and then after a few seconds the sound is less strong.

I hope you understood my questions because my English is not very good.
Any help would be appreciated :D

    Hello

I have a Satellite A100-410 and I can't start over (in safe mode ok). When starting, it shows the XP screen and after 10 seconds, the screen goes black. We have re-installed XP but no use. We checked again and assume that something is wrong with the video card drivers.

So we checked for the last but no use. I can boot the laptop when the video card is uninstalled, so it takes to cause something weird.
Or could it be that the card is broken?

    Hello.

For sure your video card is ok, otherwise you may see white screen after switching on. The problem is in the driver problem. Have you downloaded the Toshiba site display driver?
Maybe there is a conflict of driver. This site http://downloads.guru3d.com/downloadget.php?id=1655&file=7&evp=c14f9f3787877ee f9ef4b235b9146e96 stage
Download and install. Then try to reinstall the display driver (if not work, do it in safe mode).

If she's not always you help, do a search for a new iso Windows Xp but not Windows assembly (some guys like to change windows, deleting and adding some files, and then load it. Most of these modified versions are bad).

That's all I can suggest now, sorry if does not work.

  • HP 7520: reinstalled OS now will not automatically turn on

I recently reinstalled my operating system and since then could not get the printer to behave in the way which he used to.  (don't know if it's important but MacBook Pro is my system, Yosemite running).

Before the new operating system when we invited a document to print, the printer wireless turn what ever computer or device.  Now he must go, and then press the power button and it does never print the document that we asked.

Do I need to uninstall and reinstall the printer, or play with icloud?  I was the one who initially put in place and I don't see what I did differently this time around who has messed up the settings.   Any suggestions?

    Hey @Jewelya,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that since the upgrade your computer Mac OS X for Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite, your HP Photosmart 7520 e-all-in-one printer was not run correctly for you. I would like to help you to solve this problem today. Now, because your printer is unable to 'wake up' and do the printing for you automatically, it is possible that there is a driver conflict occurring. Can I please have performed you the steps below to resolve any conflict potential driver and software.

Step 1: Uninstall the drivers and software:

It is important to have a nice clean slate to work with. To establish which can, I you start by clicking here and executes the steps under 'Reset the printing in OS X Lion system' that the steps are the same for your Mac OS X 10.10.  On your Mac computer printing system reset will delete each printer to the computer, but does not uninstall printers. Therefore, if you use other printers on your Mac computer just to make sure they are connected via a USB cable or the connection or connected to the network and (+) add in. rear not to add your device HP Photosmart back by now.

Once the reset is complete, please click here for the steps to uninstall the software and drivers for your computer. Please click on the drop down menu 'Mac OS X v10.6, OS X v10.7, OS X v10.8 and OS X v10.9' and run the appropriate uninstall steps.

Once the uninstall is complete, proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Check and repair your Mac disk permissions:

    1. Open Macintosh HD and go to Applications
    2. Go to the Utilities folder
    3. Open disk utility
    4. Select the hard disk volume, you use (usually on the left)
    5. Select verify disk permissions
    6. Once this process is complete, select repair disk permissions

Step 3: Check the Apple updates:

    1. Go to the Apple
    2. Select System Preferences
    3. Select software update
    4. Click update now
    5. Install your available updates
    6. Computer restart

Step 4: Reinstall your software and drivers:

Please click here to download the appropriate drivers for Mac OS X 10.10 for printer you. Once the open site, please select the download button at the top left. Do run all the instructions on the screen to reinstall your printer.

Once installation is complete, please try printing to verify that the problem has been resolved.

Please reply to this message with the result of your troubleshooting. Good luck!

  • HP Envy 120 printer prints OK but the error message after each document

After upgrading the firmware in my printer, I now get a window pop up with the title, "Unable to communicate with printer" at the end of each document.  The error message should be cleared before the next document in the queue will print.  Each document prints correctly despite the error message.

Another thing that may cause this condition besides the update of the firmware is this: I have set up my printer for wireless printing, which worked OK.  However, I am currently using the printer with a wired USB connection.  Of course, the version non-reseau of the printer is selected as my printer 'default' regarding this error report.  The update of the firmware was held at the same time that change this "setup".

    Hey @rrbNevada,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that your printer HP Envy 120 seems to have an error "Unable to communicate with the printer" after each print job is printed and this problem seems to have started after an update of the firmware running and change your connection type. Maybe it's a coincidence.

For me to help you I need to know what operating system you print since?

    What is my OS?

For now, I would like to run the print tool HP and doctor Scan. It is a practical tool that will 'fix print' questions automatically for you. It will scan the computer for any conflict of driver printer HP, connection problems and other issues that can cause problems with your printer. It will also try to fix these problems for you.

    HP Print and Scan Doctor

If printing HP and doctor Scan fails to solve your problem, I recommend a complete uninstall and reinstall of your software and drivers for a clean slate to work with.

    Uninstalling the printer software

After you have uninstalled the drivers and the printer software I need you to reinstall. To reinstall, I add two documents of reference below:

Installation for USB under Mac OS X

    Installation of USB on Windows

Because you use the printer for network and USB connections on your computer I suggest you first run installation from USB.

Once the printer is installed for USB, then you can add in the wireless version.

Adding a printer wireless on Windows:

    1. open the Printer Assistant software on your desktop. It should resemble a black printer icon and has your options of Scan inside.

    2. click on the 'utility' on the top tab

    3. click on 'software and configuration of the printer.

4 enforce "connect a new device" for the network connection.

This will add two copies of your printer and both will be implemented properly for scanning and printing.

Adding a printer wireless on Mac:

    1. Click The HP utility icon in the Dock.
