OfficeJet pro 8610: 8610 paper sources do not print

I have a 8610 feeding through 3 sheets of paper for every page I print, but it does not print on any of them. He simple said full impression then feeds through the paper. I tried several kinds of paper, plain paper in the paper with the same results.

I found the problem and it seems to related to the 64-bit Beta of Chrome. In a nut shell, printing from Chrome sends blank pages to whatever printer you have selected. The printer works fine when I printfrom Word, Adobe, etc.

Our library network environment is a challenge. I would like to plug into our ethernet with a cat5e cable network and be a part of our network printer, but I have to be able to print wirelessly from two Windows laptops. Unfortunately, our wi - fi library through the network of the city that is otherwise not available to us. When I plug the cable of the respectable wireless ethernet becomes unavailable.

For now, I am attaching the printer with a USB cable to a desktop computer and I got the printer shared with another office.  But how do I print wireless to the printer for computers laptops windows?  Is the printer must be connected to a wireless router to print wireless? And can I order wireless printing and always plug into an ethernet network? Because I prefer not having to share the computer to another computer on the network for printing.

    Hello

I'm afraid that the connection of the printer for cable networks and wireless at the same time can be made, the printer can be connected to a unique network, once connected an Ethernet wireless capability cable does not connect to a wireless network.

However, you may be able to use wireless Direct, which can be used same onnce the printer is connected to a LAN.

For that, you'll need spend your PC from the network wireless network printer in order to print...

To access the internet, you'll need for the PC back to your wireless router:

  • OfficeJet Pro 8610: Paper feeding problems

Is it possible to manually feed a single sheet of paper in the 8610?  I have sheets simple manual power in my old Lazerjet 4Plus and find it convenient if I use 'good side paper '. (reuse, recycling)

    @Arnot41

Welcome to the Community Forum of HP.

I don't think you can "unique paper source" in this printer.

Part of the problem could be the way the printer picks up the paper - the mechanism (rollers, power, sensors) - must be "so" or something can glitch and you might get an error any.

Assuming that the paper is the same quality paper that could be used in the printer in any case, it is standard 20 # bnd, white paper, or another high-quality brand HP or equivalent, then the following should work:

You might be able to 'good use' book on top of new paper in the tray from the stack and use it that way.  If the printer not to panic because of the paper with something printed on the back of the paper, it should work.

Stack the paper into the tray with the clean side to print "hidden face".   This means that the 'already printed side' will be visible when the paper is in the tray.

You can try it certainly - if the printer doesn't like it, it will tell you on this subject.

The 8630 Pro OfficeJet print on paper one side "already used" - I just tested.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8610: No desktop Windows 7 printing and Officejet Pro 8610

I bought and installed a new 8610 Officejet Pro about a month ago.  My desktop computer is a unit of HP Windows 7.  The printer is wireless.

Until a few days ago, everything worked fine, but now I can't print anything from my desktop computer.  Printing from my computer MacBook laptop works very well.  Printing from my iphone is fine.  Digitization of the desktop computer is fine.  Webprinting is fine.  The printer icon has a nice green checkmark in the devices folder.

I ran printing HP and doctor Scan, which claims to solve a problem of port, but does not solve the problem.

I use windows to troubleshoot the connection, claiming to make the printer available to my homegroup, but it does not solve the problem.

I tried to change the security settings for the spooler.  Has not solved the problem.

I can not manually stop and star the spooler via prompt back.  Said system 5, access denied error.

It's maddening.  I got rid of my old printer (which must be printed from the office) so that I could have a capacity of wireless printing, and now I have the ability wireless, but impossible to print from my desktop.  Aaaaggghhhhhh!

    Hey @steplaw,

Thanks for getting back to me on this subject. Now I'll have to charge you another Officejet driver on your product. Because the network connection is fine, and scanning is still fine, I do not think that the problem you are experiencing is connectivity or related software. This driver replacement, I'll have to charge you will work exactly the same way as the e-all-in-one printer driver Officejet Pro 8610. Therefore, you won't lose all the features by this fix. • HP Officejet Pro 8600 more paper tray will not go

[In the case of a post to repeat it is because I could not tell for sure one was actually published.]

Product name: HP Officejet Pro 8600 more. OS is Windows 7

First of all, I saw many possible solutions in Google search, and many of them related to the HP printers support blogs and none of them have worked for me.

Like so many others, the problem started with my change drawer to manage envilopes. Many worked, but now the drawer don't go all the way - it stops at 9/16 inch short to be completely closed.

I adjusted and readjusted the tray for legal size.

I shook the left and right drawer closing.

I removed all the paper and two sizing medium frame settings.

I checked the track inside and the slider on the status bar and see no obstacles.

I raised and lowered the ramp at the end; It lowers at the beginning of the slide.

By pulling the drawer I found a slight resistance during his visit to the position of 1 inch.

I slipped the paper-stop in and out and it positioned perfectly.

I cycle powered by the printer.

I can't help but think there must be simple somethinbg behind it all. Maybe a bit of lubricant in the mechanism?

    Help, please.

I was right - something simple. Me. It seemed that the ferry was going all the way because of the gap between the drawer and the housing. I thought it was a problem because I have sent to the printer of things would not print. I still don't know why, but it seemed to be a problem with the mechanical - 'print' in applications is dimmed. But now everything seems to be in order. My apologies to those who have spent the time thinking about my 'problem'...

  • OfficeJet Pro 8610: officejet pro 8610, perfectly installed, but wont print

OK, so I installed the printer and connected wireless on my Vista 64 bit system. Connected perfectly but does not the computer print. I ran the print and scan doctor who suggested I uninstall and download the software directly from HP that I did. Same thing... perfectly installed but does not print. The test for fax and wireless the pass pages, configuration page Network displays connected too. The same printer downloaded directly one updated so I don't know that it is connected to my home network. But still when I try to print something directly from my computer I get the error "unable to communicate with the printer. Yes, the 8610 is my default printer and Yes, the blue wireless light is solid on the printer and yes I uninstalled it and reinstalled the software and yes I tried unpluging the printer from the wall and restart my computer. Scan DR erased all the tasks in the queue without conflicts... all green arrows, but when I click on print a test page... NOTHING. Internal test page prints. PLEASE PLEASE SOMEONE HELP BEFORE I RETURN THIS.

Oh and by the way, if I connect via the USB port, it prints and if I use the HP AIO application it prints my android devices... Cannot understand this

    Thank you

    Sheri

OK, so after hours of trying to understand it, in my opinion, I thought of it myself. It was not enough just to use the disc or download the software. I had to go to my control panel and click Add a printer, and then select Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer, and follow the instructions with the disc from there. The computer then added a standard TCP/IP port, which did not previously exist. Now it prints. I deleted the installed printer before without the port and it works fine now. Hope this helps others. It would have been useful if HP has included this little trick from the beginning, that we should install the software directly from printer/Add Panel control, not the single disc. Hope this helps others.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8500 a Premium yellow will not print

I am not able to print Yellow.  The quality of the print head is 'good' on my two print heads.  I cleaned the Black/Yellow Printhead (which was dirty) and electrical contacts.  There is no break in the inktubes.  Original HP cartridges were full (although with all attempts to realign and clean, they are now all almost empty).  Print quality report shows no white dark lines or gaps in the Test focus3.  The reason for Test 1 shows and connected lines.  Focus 2 shows not yellow, but without streaks white through any of the colored blocks.

So I think I've covered everything except the replacement of the print head.

The question is to know if I can wait that it will change the situation to change the print head or if I have to get the printer serviced - and, as it is out of warranty, if it means that the cost of the service outweighs the balance of the cost of obtaining a new printer.

What do people think?  Is that what sounds like a new printhead will correct the situation?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello Cherniack,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

On the Officejet 8500 has not not printing yellow and all the troubleshooting steps you have done, I would say that Yes. Replacement of the print head would be your next best step.

Even if the printer is out of warranty, the print head may be covered. It is guaranteed is distinct from the printer and is located on the side of the printhead:

If your print head is under warranty and you call in North America, the number is 1-800-474-6836 and for all the other regions, click here.

If the print head is out of warranty and you want to order the replacement, visit HP SureSupply.

    Thanks for posting,

  • HP Officejet Pro L7500 cyan ink cartridge does not print

My Officejet Pro L7500 has been used for several years without any problems printing.  Recently, my documents printed blue display order.  I replaced the cyan cartridge, and made sure all cartridges have plenty of ink.  I ran the printer to clean the heads, align the cartridges, test print, etc..  Blue ink just doesn't appear.  I also removed the cyan cartridge, blew some air in ink consumption and succeeded him.  The printer gives message that there is a problem.  Is there a solution?

This means that you need a new printhead cyan/black. This youtube show you how to replace the printhead. The print heads are usually sold where get you the cartridges.

  • Affecting HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 without borders on and printing double-sided "return on the long edge.

I want enabled no border and return on the long edge, I got another printer installation.  But on the 8610, I get the same dialog box and chose of ' keep this setting, and I will change it later ", but it does not allow me to have the two settings in this way.

    I have some WONDERFUL NEWS!

The 8610 printer (and it was the printer 8600) replaces my HP
OfficeJet 9110, which I've owned for about a decade.

My "existing" Linux computer cannot print on it.  (I have a very old)
Version of CUPS and at the time I gave it - and I don't have a lot of time
-I have not been able to install a more recent version.)  But, my most recent office
Computer Linux is a system of 20 of Fedora.  (And, the goal is to have the most recent
Linux Desktop become my Linux after I get everything copied and
    configured for it).

Last week, I installed a new version of HPLIP on it.  Is not only
It give me the ability to print in duplex/duplex, but it also prints
    without borders!

I am able to print without margins and double-sided printing, using half of the book
    Once again!

I'm happy with that resolved, now that I've installed marked HPLIP!  :-D

  • HP Officejet Pro 8610: Error code problem with printer or ink system

sent a fax Monday very well and now I'm going to use printer & fax to search for these words in the window:

"There is a problem with the printer or ink system. Stop printer, then if the problem continues contact HP. »

I had done this several times as well as other things that HP troubleshooting suggested.

    Hi @MrsQT,

I see that you get an error on the printer or ink system and made the suggested troubleshooting already. I'd be happy to help and find a document for you to review to make sure that you have tried everything: HP OfficeJet Printers - resolve the error 'Problem with ink system'.

If the problem persists, I suggest to call the hotline to see if you may be able to get a discount on a newer model, or replace your printer if it is under warranty still. HP printers usually have a warranty of 1 year from the date of purchase, you can check the warranty using the following if you wish; guarantee cheque.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus: now really can not print from Officejet Pro 8600 Plus

It is my second attempt to get help.  First aid made it worse.  I had been unable to print from my printer wireless to my MacBook Pro, iPad, or iPhone.  After 20 hours I managed to do print from a cable (it sees my network but none of my devices can see).  So I posted here asking for help and was told to uninstall the software, repair disk permissions, and then reinstall the software.  But when I downloaded the new software that my computer would not install it because it says it's for Mac system 10.7 or less and I 10.10.  So now I can't print anything at all.  I need this job.  Please help me to fix it for real.  I can't take this more.

In fact, HP support did not help at all. I finally fixed it myself after a lot of trial and error. The answer was that the printer software was incompatible with the software on my Mac. I removed Rowmote and it started working again. Weird, Rowmote had not been a problem before, but it can be updated. I was told there was new software of the printer of February, but when I went to the driver page with the link that the person a condition he had as the old one. So if he is really a software it should be provided to users. Thank you, they were attentive, though, and I received several phone calls.
