OfficeJet Pro 8625: Remove printer OfficeJet

I need to remove a printer HP OfficeJet Pro 8625 (8620) laptop.  The printer is a shared Ethernet network device.  I guess I have to remove both the printer itself (via Control Panel) as well as the associated software (drivers HP).  What is the correct order for this (first remove the printer or remove the first HP software)?  Is there anything else I need to do?  I want to completely remove the OfficeJet from the laptop, as it was never there.  I then reinstalled the printer from scratch on the laptop.

Thanks for your help on this issue.

Hello

First remove the HP software from the control panel > Unisntall a program.

Removing software will remove probably any existing device as well.

Only if a queue of the remains of printers and printer peripheral slot select Remove an instrument to remove.

Kind regards

Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

    Hey @ziyoo,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I would like to help you to solve the problem that you are experiencing when you try to print from your computer Windows 8.1 wireless to your HP Officejet Pro 8625 e-all-in-one printer today. Thank you for all the troubleshooting steps you tried before reaching out for support. Right now, I don't think the wireless printing problem that you are experiencing is caused by your printer or your network connection. On the contrary, I believe that the wireless printing problem is caused by your operating system.

Recently, Microsoft has released a hotfix to correct network printing issues in their Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 operating systems. These wireless printing problems consist of 'partial printing' and questions 'offline '. The questions seem to affect several brands and models of wireless printers. Can I have it please click here to download the fix. Once the site opens, please click on the available hotfix downloadbutton. Please follow the prompts on the screen to install the hotfix. Once the hotfix has been installed please try again to print.  If printing still does not work you need to restart your computer to allow the Hot Fix to take affect. Once your computer turns please try again to print.

Please reply to this message with the result of your troubleshooting. Good luck!

    >> ...  It is an option that can be set in the Print dialog box to print on nonprintable region?

    N °

    >> ... If not, why it is not printable?

Laser printers have a nonprintable region (on the four edges of the paper).

The main reason for this is to try to prevent from entering the mechanism of toner powder, as to do so can lead to contamination and possibly (in some cases) damage, the printer.

    >> ... And what about the other models of HP printers?

Inkjet printers use droplets of liquid ink instead of toner powder, and some of these models allow edge onboard (borderless) impression - but not all (I have no idea who (as applicable) models provide zero-margins all around).

  • OfficeJet Pro 8625: Officejet Pro 8625 - print preview is not available

I just bought the Officejet Pro 8625. My last 2 HP printers had a preview option print that I can put by default, so I can listen to excerpts or my custom print job to afford to cancel or specify if necessary pages. Now, I'm wasting paper and ink not knowing how the work will look like before committing the print job. Miss me that it allow me to preview before printing? HP has a software update to resolve this issue, or they didn't neglect it? Why they would remove this option? I can go back and is no longer buy HP products more because of this.

    Hi @troendlyj,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I hate to be the bearer or bad news, but I think that's going to be the role here today

The feature print preview in previous versions of the software is more included. Some programs may have built based on preview before printing for you to use, but if not it not there no other option available from the printing software preview.

I hope that answers the question, even if it wasn't the answer you were hoping for!

  • HP Officejet Pro 8625: I am able to print from windows, but not able to print from Word

I installed an HP Officejet Pro 8625 wireless to my network.  I am able to scan from my computer and print from Chrome, but am not able to print from Mozzila or Word.  I replaced a HP Officejet 6500 with this device.  I can print from my mobile devices.   Any help would be welcome.

    Hello

I found the answer to that by trawling for ever, it IS a HP PROBLEM, ARE YOU listening TO HP?

the fact is that the printer driver will agree that a system administrator to print from some programs, Adobe, Office, Wordpad there more, but if you apply this fix, they will print

go to the HEART control PANEL > USER ACCOUNTS > CHANGE USER ACCOUNT SETTINGS.

Drag the slider to the bottom never notify, and then restart your computer.

    works on windows 7

Indeed, you raise your account to an admin sys, but if HP has got their act together, they would sort this issue, because it is everywhere in their forums.

  • HP OfficeJet Pro 8625: Update was downloaded now, when I hit print I get 'Send Fax, HP OfficeJet Pro 8620' window

My HP OfficeJet Pro 8625 newly purchased printer was printing fine until I downloaded an update online. Now when I try to print I get the "Send Fax - HP OfficeJet Pro 8620" window. I have not selected the correct option on the update. I do not use nor I set up the fax on my computer or a printer. How can I fix this problem?

    Hello

In Control Panel, select devices and printers.

Right-click on the printer 8620, and then select set as default printer.

Select the printer listed without 'Fax' in its name and confirm.

The application used to print as if sure you select the print queue that does not include 'Fax' in its name.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8625: Printer goes offline

I recently buy a printer of HP all-in-one Officejet Pro 8625 at Costco.  I find that often, it disconnects and I must it turn off and restart to connect to the network.  Is there any solution for this?

Hi there, you may need to assign a static IP address to the printer who, in many cases, results in a more stable connection. Instructions for how to do that are included in this link, as solution # 3.

I hope that this information helps to solve this problem.

    Best.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8625: Question of installing the printer

I bought a Officejet Pro 8625. It included an accessory "duplex unit". What I have to install the duplexer (which automatically make double-sided printing) if I want to do double sided prints for certain documents only?

    Hello

You must install the duplex module because it is part of the paper for the printer path.

You can enable or disable the use of the printer driver the duplexer by changing the print on the both sides option in the driver.

HP Officejet Pro 8625 cannot change the order of printing back to the front and want to change

The Officejet Pro 8600 driver has a 'Page order' option in the driver, and it is compatible with the Officejet Pro 8625.  You can install this driver in point 8.1 of Windows as follows: first download and install the driver Officejet Pro 8600 from HP here.  When the installer asks how the printer will be connected select "ignore the connection at the moment, I'll do it later."  After that go to printer and devices, right click on the Officejet Pro 8625, printer, advanced, pilot, new properties, then select a manufacturer HP (Hewlett-Packard) and select HP Officejet Pro 8600, next, done.  Click the Officejet Pro 8625 properties, general window and in the rear upper part called Officejet Pro 8625 (or what you want the printer named...), OK.  The Page order option will be available in the Advanced Printer Options tab.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8625: My Pro suddenly cannot connect to my wifi Officejet 8625

In the middle of the night, my wireless connection is released. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the HP program on my computer, but unless it is connected to the router - then I can't go on without her.

It finds the router, but when I use the WPS or enter the password - it still does not.

    Hi @Pro8625,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I see that you are unable to print to your printer HP Officejet Pro 8625 wireless. I'd be happy to help you and don't forget to come back to this thread and check "Accept as Solution", if I have successfully helped solve you the problem. If you want to say 'Thank you' to my effort to help, click on the "thumbs up" to give me a Kudos.

I understand that the wireless is out in the middle of the night and since that time you could not reconnect the printer.

If you encountered problems with the wireless did you click on the "Reset" button on the router? This restores the factory settings, that would have removed the password wireless. If so, please reconfigure the router settings before reconnecting the printer to the wireless network.

To help determine the cause of wireless questions use this guide HP Officejet Pro 8610, 8620, 8630, 8640 and 8660 e - all-in - One Printer Series - printer does not maintain the wireless connection.

Please avoid using the router WPS function to reconfigure the printer on the wireless network, use instead the wireless configuration wizard. Refer to this guide: connect the printer to the wireless.

Please reply to this message with the result of your troubleshooting. I can't wait to hear strings attached good luck!

  • OfficeJet Pro 8625: Windows 10 and OfficeJet Pro 8625

I've updated Windows 8.1 and now when I try to scan and send the results directly to the computer on a wired network connection, I get an error message stating "The HP Officejet Pro 8620 is not found".

    The printer works fine.

I reinstalled the drivers (which makes disturbing do not mention Windows 10) and the problem still exists.

    Can anyone help?

    @kamagee

It's disturbing, especially because it is in direct contradiction with the documentation that you should be OK.

You could try a number of things, simply because the reinstallation of the drivers may not "had" correctly.

If you don't have already done, download a copy of the software full functionality of the Web site of the printer Support page:

  • OfficeJet Pro 8625: HP8625 sleep mode/wireless network connectivity

I recently bought an OfficeJet Pro 8625 and it worked fine for a few days, with everyone in the House, being able to print wireless connection network (Verizon FIOS via an Airport base station).  However, now it won't keep (or restore) a Wi - Fi connection after going to sleep.

I can get the printer to work, if I turn it works, then immediately print (but only one machine... If I need to print from two different computers, I have to restart again to use the second computer).

This is the case for all computers in my house - using several OS X (El Capitan, Mavericks and Snow Leopard) and the other with Windows 10.  I tried the troubleshooting tips that I could locate, and the firmware is up to date.

I should be able to send a document to the printer from anywhere in the House, from any computer, without walking to the printer and restart it first.  A network printer should be sprained able himself, reconnect to the wifi and print jobs sent to it, but mine doesn't.

How can I solve this problem?

These settings are to set up your wireless printer to stay connected to your router, wireless devices stay better connected and makes your router secure and hack proof.

While the DHCP is convenient, devices like printers must always be assigned an IP (fixed) manually to avoid conflicts on your wireless network.

    1. Set a static in the printer IP address (click here) outside the range of the DHCP of the router (check your manual). It is for Linksys routers, but can be used for all routers. Check your DHCP range and change this first if necessary. More Help Wireless Printing is here (Windows solution 4, static IP).
    2. Or check in the printer "Auto off" is disabled the System Mode Time Out is set to zero (0) Use the built-in webserver (EWS) by visiting the printer address IP address in the address bar of your browser, click on settings tab/Auto Off. Or use the printer, printer Home Page (EWS) Wizard. Also check the properties of your printers.
    3. If the printer supports and has IPv6 enabled, disable the IPv6 option in the printer.
    4. If necessary and you have assigned a static IP address, try using auxiliary for the preferred DNS Server 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as DNS server.
    5. Wireless printers work only on the 2.4 Ghz band.
    6. Make sure the printer is on the latest firmware by checking with the HP support site.
    7. Check all devices wireless in your home for interference. Check microwave, babyphones, phones, wireless and wireless alarm systems are a big culprit. Any of these will knock at your printer wireless intermittently.
    8. Make sure that your printer and router are at least 6 feet, independently of the other.

In the router: (refer to the manual of your router for more information)

    1. Use a fixed wireless channel as the 1, 6 or 11, never 'auto', try channel 1 first then the rest.
    2. Set the router to 20 Mhz only or 145Mbps router function.
    3. Always use WPA2-AES encryption (personal), but you can try the "mixed" mode
    4. Disable the WPS and never use it and disable the UPnP for the security of routers. No one can hijack your system now and help with wireless connectivity (if you want to know why, research on the web).
    5. If you have a router dual band (2.4 Ghz and 5.0 Ghz bands), make sure the SSID is NOT identical, they must be different for all the bands, even for networks without comments.
    6. SSID broadcast should be enabled.
    7. Save all the settings. Food at the same time, wait 2 minutes.  Power on router wait 2 minutes.
    8. Marketing the printer and check that it reconnects to the router.

Windows 7/8/8.1 is discovered the system on or off?

    1. Control Panel/Network and Internet/network and sharing Center / advanced sharing settings.
    2. Under home or work (current profile) / network discovery.
    3. Select "Turn on network discovery" and save the changes.

Now last thing to do once everything above has been tried and you still have the same problem, completely uninstall and delete the printer and its software.

Use http://www.iobit.com/en/advanceduninstaller.php and powerful Scan at the end.

Now go back and reinstall the drivers and full software on the HP website.

Last resort effort - if your printer has an Ethernet connection, suggest you to get some adapters line and convert your Ethernet wiring for your printer.
