Offset of a subitem

Hello

I am writing a script that runs through every element on a video track and creates subitems for each of them. Everything works very well in a 24 fps or 30 frames per second, but in a 23.976 chronology chronology the subitem is 1 frame off. If my inpo is exactly 1.00 seconds, starts it created a subitem to 1,001 that appears like the following picture. In addition, the subitem is 1 frame any longer. I use the trackitem.start.seconds to create my subelement. What should I do differently?

Thank you very much for your help!

Ben

TrackItem.start.ticks offers a better accuracy?

  • Photosmart 7510: Photosmart 7510 print offset of text to the right

I use MS Word 2010 and when I print the text it seems 7 mm offset to the right. e.g. fixed left margin at13 mm starts printing at 20 mm, and right margin at19 set stop mm 12 mm printing. The same offset is displayed when you use other applications for example Publisher, Zara, Photoshop etc.

Top, bottom, header and footer print exactly in the correct position.

Of course, I can adjust margins to compensate for this error, but it is a bit a nuisanse and offends my sense of! I have had this printer for 3 years and the problem appeared right from the first day. I have other HP printers, but they do not display this problem. My printer is connected directly to the computer via USB.

    Hello @GreatSimms,

Thanks for getting back to me on this subject. I'm sorry to hear that the steps I have provided could not solve the printing problem. If the impression is always shifted to the right that which usually indicate an alignment as the text is not aligned correctly on the page.

Could I please have you run an alignment for me just see if that makes a difference.

    1. On the printer control panel, press the Setup icon (), and then tap Tools.
    2. Tap the align printer.
    3. After the compliance, prints an alignment page.
    4. The successful alignment is displayed. Press OK to exit the screen.
    5. Examine the printed alignment page. It should show all models of color - especially the black and blue patterns. The ink must not be streaked or indistinct.

If the printed document appears to be centered, could I please have print you another document on your computer to verify that the problem has been resolved.

Please let me know the result of the execution of the alignment. If the problem persists, there is an additional discount I have executed him. Good luck!

  • Offset of the user interface after update of El Capitan

Hello. Since I upgraded my Macbook Pro late 2013 to El Capitan retina, I've known GAL of the user in function, mainly opening animation of safari and switching between desktop computers. These issues are only to make my user base, I created a test user and concluded that the test user was not the offset of the user interface. I have reinstalled the operating system, as well as talked to apple. Apple had me reset the Pram so that delete files, including:

    / Library/LaunchAgents

    ~/Library/LibraryAgents

    / Library/LaunchDaemons

    / Library/Caches

    ~/Library/caches

and many other files like these.

None of that helped, my UI lag is still there and fine. Also, I'm not sure if this is relevant; However, my recovery HD (available from start by pressing the alt/option key) is not an option. I'm not sure if the files I deleted with apple support caused it or reinstalling the operating system has done this. IM thinking delete files because I reinstalled the operating system using the HD recovery.

Does anyone know how to fix the lag in the UI? I know other people have this problem, google search and this forum but no clear answer has not developed.

  • Offset current SMU 4140

I use the SMU 4140 to measure the curves of voltage/current for the transistors - it sets a voltage & I read (not necessarily on the same channel).  But I noticed a peculiarity in the data according to the current limit.

First of all, I get different results if I let him autorange device compared to manually set the current limit.

In particular, there is a current lag that occurs for differnent current limits.

In the attached file, the current is allowed to Auto for the Red data and fixed at 100 Ma for data in blue.  [the axes are current drain source - ID- & door - Source voltage VGS]

Any idea what is the origin of the offset .02mA in the Red data?

Thank you for following up with an explanation.

  • FPGA/FPGA adapter creates 250 mV voltage offset

I use a high-7971R FPGA in a chassis SMU-1073 with the adaptation Module 5782 (DC coupling) and 2016,08 device drivers. When I turn on the chassis and my computer, nothing strange happens. When I try to run something on the FPGA, however, things get weird. Each piece of code works exactly as it should, but as soon as that 'open FPGA reference' finishes running the adapter begins to produce a voltage mV to 0 to + 250 Ai and AI 1. It doesn't go to AO 0 or 1 AO. This shift of power disappears temporarily as long as 'Reference FPGA open' or "Close FPGA reference" are running, but the only way to get rid of the tension of offset entirely is to restart the chassis. Can someone explain to me why this is happening and how to fix it? The FPGA code, I am running can handle a small shift, but this shift seems to be to saturate the signal.

To see the shift: branch I HAVE 0 and AI 1 directly in a 1 M complete oscilloscope.

It is planned. CDA on this FAM (and more high-end a/d converters) have a range of sampling which is not centered around zero. The front end of the compenstates of the FAM for this by applying an offset from the signal which would appear to the user that the range of the ADC is centered around zero. What is different between this FAMILY and other instruments, is that it is not an additional circuit preventing that this lag observed a user of height of the output of the analog input.

You see the shift happen to reference open FPGA is because that's when power to the GPA is activated. The shift should not have an effect on reading which provides the analog input. Just make sure you have impedance corresponding to the source of the signal at the analogue input and you should be good.

  • Calibration frequency Offset transmitter and receiver with USRP® material

Hello everyone, I read the scripts provided by The Mathworks on the frequency of calibration offset transmitter and receiver with USRP.

The USRP® transmitter sends a sinusoidal signal at 100 Hz with the MATLAB, sdruFrequencyCalibrationTransmitter.mscript, the USRP® receiver. The USRP® receiver monitors the signals, calculates the transceiver frequency shift and displays in the command window MATLAB for calibration with the MATLAB script, sdruFrequencyCalibrationReceiver.m.  At the level of the receiver, frequency offset will be calculated and displayed in the command window. The program uses a Spectrum Analyzer to show the spectrum of the received signal. In the program, the corresponding sentense is '% display frequency spectrum. step (hSpectrumAnalyzer, rxSig); "Based on that, I thought that the spectrum analyzer would show the spectrum of the received signal. However, the Web site corresponding site shows "to compensate for a shift in frequency of transmitter/receiver, add frequency offset on the Central frequency of the receiver object SDRu system. Be sure to use the sign of the offset of your addition. Once you have done this, the spectrum displayed by the Analyzer of spectrum of the receiver system object must have its maximum amplitude at about 0 Hz." What I'm confused is, why the Spectrum Analyzer should have its maximum amplitude at about 0 Hz, not other values? Is it because of the characteristics of the USRP itself or the Analyzer of spectrum shows is the value of the difference between the Tx and the Rx after calibration?  I use neither-USRP 2920. Your response will be much appreciated! Thank you!

Yes if two devices are not locked to a reference clock, 10 MHz for the USRPs you will see a shift in frequency.

  • define 4461 common mode dc offset

    Hi all

Anyone know if it is possible to programmatically set a common mode DC offset to the differential output of a 4461 or what should I do with the external components? Please note that this is a different condition to define the differential DC level, which I know you can do.

    Thank you

    Nick

    Hi Nick,

Thanks for the question. Currently, we do not allow the user to directly set the offset of common mode of production. Bonus mode, both positive (BNC Center) output and negative

(Shell BNC) outputs have 2.4 KOhms to land (it is not isolated from the Earth). For this reason, in all cases essentially, regardless of the components you will introduce to the common mode

offset of the output will also present an error of differential gain as well. In addition, due to the lack of insulation, there a limit to how much common-mode offset can be driven out of the ground.

It also depend on the size of your output signal. When you approach the limit, there will be a significant increase in distortion that will run at full power eventually.

I hope this helps answer your question.

  • Specify a position and offset

    I received this message.

    Possible reasons:

Measurements: Attempted to write a sample beyond the final sample generated. The build is stopped, so the sample specified by the combination of the position and the offset is never available.

Specify a location and a shift that selects a sample up to, but not beyond, the final sample generated. The final sample generated can be determined by querying the total number of samples generated after that a generation stopped.

    Attempted to write example: 8000

    Property: RelativeTo
Corresponding value: Position of the current entry

    Property: Offset
    Corresponding value:

How can I fix this error?

It would be much easier to help if you could post your code... you probably just change a setting or two (finished/continuous, of regeneration/non-regeneration, etc.).

  • How to display wav on a table or chart, if the user enters frequency, amplitude, shape, offset

    Hello

I have a program (an example of program) where the user can enter the frequency, amplitude, shape as well as the compensation of a wave. How to take these properties and in the wiring diagram to display the waveform on the front panel (in a table or a graph)?

Frequency, amplitude and offset is a double. Waveform in the wave function of type.

    code attached.

    Please answer. Thank you.

To see the actual waveform, you obviously have another instrument connected to the output of the Agilent. If you want something simulated as closely as possible, you can wire the wave to a case statement function and set a function of generation of waveform appropriate inside each case.

Edit - you also posted to the wrong Board. In the future, don't forget to post on the instrument (approximately Agilent) control or Council of LabVIEW (regarding the functions of generation of waveform).

  • Square wave generation phase offset problems using PXI6602

    Hello

I'm generating 2 signals using an incremental encoder AB using a PXI6602 to simunlating.

Signals must be offset square wave, 34,133 Khz, by 90 degrees, which I'll put dividing (1/frequency) into 4 and put the result in the knot of late initial .vi DAQmx create channel (frequency impulse Co generation).

Resulting signals phase difference however does not consistantly measures 90 degrees. 1 in 5 rounds of the vi has at least a matter of resulting in a test phase angle has failed.

Can someone suggest a stable solution for this.

    Thank you

    David

    John_P1,

After posting the previous comment, I went back to play some more with him, and he now runs and returns a positive result every time.

The change that has had the desired effect was for the type of trigger that I had selected (Advance Digital Edge). Change this to start digital dashboard whose value fall of dash, the error disappeared.

Feel free to always criticize the vi and suggest / modify to improve stability / efficiency.
