OK is 90 to 100% of load?

Hello

I just bought the laptop dv6-6199ee 2 days ago.

Laptop

I am satisfied so far.

Except today I installed AIDA64 like I always do and noticed that it's the heat.

No, it was not very hot to the touch and that's why I'm worried.

Anyway, CPU idle about 59 degrees celsius...

While stress tests it reached about 77 degrees and about leveled it...

but worrying during the same stress tests (AIDA) once I plugged it it reach 90 very quickly (and leveled it)

He wasn't yet very warm to the touch but warm enough.

So do not want to do more, should I send this laptop back for repair or refund and get the Dell XPS 15Z?

90 degrees is too hot for an entry level i7 2nd gen CPU under duress?

Laptop computer is in a ventilated place and I tried to give him a fight chance.*

Windows 7 64 bit

Hello

I think it's ok for a short period, but it is not a good idea to run the machine like that for a whole day.

Kind regards

  • Windows Update Service consume 100% of load on a kernel (Windwos 7)

    Hello

    This Monday week Windows update service (wuauserv) is constantly consuming 100% of load with one heart. The system is completely updated, all the updates are applied. I know that Windows update is generally the software kind of crap (sorry guys, but there are a lot of things to improve) and usually consumes CPU high for a long time just check the updates (installation also last very long), but this time he keeps everything simply.

    Restaring the service did not help. Restart does not help either. I tried to re - install all the com - dll, restarted the service,... nothing helps. Then I tried to apply the tool but this Fixit tool seems to be "smart" enough and starts the wuauserv service in order to detect problems--> same charge again.

  • Ghostery addon causes 100% CPU load on a carrot for a few seconds for each hyperlink that you clicked.

    For many months now and with several versions of Firefox and firefox profiles, turning the Ghostery add-on causes each hyperlink clicked to have 2 second break. In the Task Manager, I see 25% cpu usage, which equals 100% of CPU on my Quad Core cpu load.

    If I disable Ghostery and restart Firefox, all problems disappear. So I have either the choice between a slow browser, or privacy-enabled navigation. Both are unacceptable.

    I can't find anyone with this problem; is it me?

    I did not use of Ghostery but I guess it could be the preload page and inspect and possibly break URLS to protect you before posting. Maybe if you set the settings so that it does less, allows you to balance the objectives of performance and privacy?

    I noticed this on their support site today: https://getsatisfaction.com/ghostery/topics/your_script_becomes_unresponsive_raising_hell_with_firefox

    Hello

    References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.

    Check with support from the manufacturer of their books online and the drivers and their forums system
    (as applicable) for known issues. Some manufacturer issued BIOS and other updates to help the battery

    Here are some tips to help and troubleshoot battery issues.

    Old battery? Unplug the power to the computer - remove the battery and clean the contacts with a pencil

  • COM Bluetooth port 90-100% CPU load

    I ' am running a PC application via a COM port normal, nothing complicated 38 kbaud. The CPU load is about 4%.
    Then I try to do without this thread, that oops the CPU rises to 96% of the load.

    I use a different computer manufacturers with Toshiba stack and module internal BT. Win XP SP2. Yes I have updated to the last stack of Toshiba.

    The same problem on my second computer (since it is a dual core I get 50% CPU) also with Toshiba stack.

    If use an external RS232 Bluetooth adapter everythings works fine at 4% of CPU load. I have however to connect a USB Bluetooth, same problem 96% CPU adapter.

    I'm doing something obviously wrong?

    / B

    Each laptop manufacturer typically feature test prior to the distribution of laptops. Have you tried to know what say the support from the manufacturer of this problem?

    I use for Toshiba laptop and BT works well and something like that doesn't happen to me.

  • BT stack file TosBTMng.Exe generates 100% of CPU load

    I am also facing the problem that the Toshiba Bluetooth Manager (TosBtMng.exe) very often starts a loop and causes a 100% CPU load.

    This has happened with older versions of the Toshiba Bluetooth stack and the current version (5.1.0.12).

    The affected system is a Tecra S1, BT-Modul and Windows XP SP2.

    BT battery installation went well and the laptop starts succesfull while BT is enabled. I also checked for hidden COM-Ports and other tips in this forum, without success.

    Blocking seems to occur at different times. Sometimes just after are restarted, by clicking on the tray icon of BT with the right button of the mouse. Then the context menu is shown all too the white box, no entries. He can also try to connect to a device already associated. If I kill the process with the Task Manager, I can restart and he continues to work for a while.

    As found in another thread here, I enabled the registration of the API of the Bluetooth Manager and found the following when connecting with the Nokia PC Suite for my mobile phone:

    Call the 00042519 21:55:05 [7208] (TosBtAPI / PCCSTBTP) BtCreateCOMM()-> BtCreateCOMM2()

    A new COM port is created successfully (COM23) and a few seconds later the CPU of TosBtMng load goes up to 100%, but no API calls are made. And if you wait long enough the phone are connected and data can be transferred. However, very slowly.

    Probably because of the high CPU load a next port COM (COM24) will be created some time later and this process is then repeated once again:

  • RT FIFO results in 100% of cpu load?

    Hello

    I am trying to replace some RT-FIFO queues on a target of cRIO9074 (via LV2011), which should be fairly easy because the API is very similar for both:

    This example VI works for sure: the lower loop puts an I32 in the FIFO every 100ms, the upper loop must wait before trying to read a new element of the "timeout" (the value 50ms) FIFO. For this example the upper loop should run (roughly) 2 - 3 times for each iteration of the lower loop because of 50ms timeout.

    The problem I have is: it shows 100% cpu load and I don't understand why he says:

    Where this example VI does not burn 100% cpu load? The RTFIFORead question just the current state of the FIFO?

    Have you checked whether a time-out to > 100ms also creates 100% CPU load?

    Please note that create the FIFO provides the configuration of reading and writing for the vote against blocking. See Help for more information.

  • Safari 8.0 - 9.0 100% usage Cpu OSX 10.11.3 that can relate to the bookmarks / favorites

    I have a very strange problem like many, I remember Yosemite until last El Capitan 10.11.3 (15 d 21) and Safari Version 9.0.3 (11601.4.4) indeed, it started to become more annoying over time. Safari sometimes goes upward at 100% cpu usage, sometimes even more, but it is directly on the process of safari, all child processes are the normal CPU including wireless networking usage. I started because of debugging that until now I can't to closed source. I tried deleting all the cache, cookies, bookmarks and all data stored in what concerns the Safari.app, including navigation and other databases. It doesn't have a lot of help. I've created a new test account on my macbook pro, then tried to reproduce the problem with osx plain-set with safari, but after hours of use could not reproduce the problem. Then I imported Bookmarks.plist on my account current account set correctly, after less then 15 minutes, safari rose to 100% cpu again usage. I also tried to use iCloud to automatically migrate the data from safari snacks I made mistake in manual transfer, but it seems icloud backup safari is also problem back. My favorite looks normal, nothing to share here, a few favorite pages stored in a subdirectory in Favorites and couple more bookmarks but especially file plist format seems to be corrupted itself. I couldn't find that question is strictly linked to a Web site, it seems that this could be linked to the favorite bookmarks. Does anyone have and solution on this issue?

    PS. I have no problem with other browsers, such as Opera, Chrome, Firefox - but using another browser is not the solution. If this could be useful I took part in the beta to preview at Yosemite program, I returned to normal release with the first public version of Yosemite, but I don't really think that it is the source of the problem.

  • confusing output of "CPU Get RT Loads.vi"

    Target material: cRIO-9068

    LabVIEW edition development system complete 2014

    I'm intrigued by the information provided by the 'Get CPU Loads.vi RT". I wrote a simple test program that I run in interactive mode on my RT goal to demonstrate the problem. See the screenshots in the attached PDF file.

    Figure 1 illustrates a timed loop that runs all 500 msec, changing the State of a Boolean indicator and indicator panel update before "CPU load". Figure 2 shows the front panel. Observe that the field ' Total (%). "shows constantly around 17%. Why is this number so high when the program does almost nothing? Figures 3 and 4 see the similar results for a while loop with a waiting vi.

    My real applications, which are much more complex than these test programs, are constantly indicating 100% CPU load. It's disturbing, but I don't know that I think that there is the light of the conclusions of my test program. Anyone can shed light on these results?

    TIA

    Hugh

    It took me some time (I had accidentally unplugged the switch that connects my PC to my PXI - found just by tracing the Ethernet cable and ' Oh, I forgot that the switch... ") Who turned off the power to it?  Oh, Yes, I remember that last week I forgot switch has been connected... ».

    My PXI controller is a 8108, who has a dual core Pentium any in it.  As a result, I get two reports of CPU, one for each carrot load.  It is quite clear that the timed loop runs in Core 1 (as the time goes up because I increase the computation inside the loop).

    As shown here, the Timed loop runs during three cycles to 0.5 Hz, trying to calculate random numbers 1 million (seems to take a fraction of a second, maybe 50 to 100 ms).  Every half second, I have the CPU load in a separate loop.  To ensure that at least one of the measures to obtain a complete cycle of the loop delay, I delay the start of the loop timed by 1/4 second.

    Here is what I get on the fourth measure (the second to the fourth are similar).

    You will notice that Core 1, which has the timed loop, is busy at 13% of the time, while the other loop is busy by 0.3%.  Overlooking all 6 reading, Core 0 will never higher than 0.6%, while the Core 1 is either<1% or="" around="" 13%="" (recall="" that="" it="" might="" not="" be="" started,="" or="" may="" be="">

    I ran once more, reduce the number of random numbers by a factor of 100 (to 10,000).  The first charges were 0.5% and 0.75% (initialization), the other was 1.6% and 3.4% (from timed loop) and the last four (when the timed loop was running) both hearts were 0.3% or less.  So, in my hands, once the timed loop is running, I can 'measure' its basic with minimal impact loading.

    I have about 70 sounds in my two external SWF. What I need to stop all of them?

    //---

    more than likely, Yes. I guess it depends on how you have 70 put sounds up in your external swf file... I mean:

    you have 70 movieclips appointed on the external swf stage with a distinct sound in each of them? and each have a stop() action in the first picture?

    or

    you say your external swf to go to a certain image tag that plays a sound on the timeline to this label?

    or

    are your 70 sounds created dynamically with code and told. start()?

    //---

    Keep in mind, a swf loading will start to play even before it is fully charged. So instead of when it is fully charged, try stop the loaded swf with a listener for 'init', i.e. when the swf file loaded passes its first image:

    function loadNextF (): void {}

    TL ["loader_" + index] = new Loader();

    TL ["loader_" + index] .name = index.toString ();

    . contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener TL ["loader_" + index] (ProgressEvent. COURSES, progressF);

    TL ["loader_" + index].contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener (Event.COMPLETE, completeF);

    TL ["loader_" + index].contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener (Event.INIT, initF);

    TL ["loader_" + index] .load (new URLRequest (swfA [index]));

    }

    function initF(e:Event):void {}

    SoundMixer.stopAll ();

    var mc:MovieClip = MovieClip (tl ["loader_" + index] content);

    mc.gotoAndStop (1);

    }

  • Load flex 4 application in flex 3

    We have a flex 3.5 application that requires to load flex 4.5 swf. I tried swfloader load flex 4 swf with loadForCompatibility to be true, but it did not work on. It gives no error, but nothing comes on the screen. I tried to put the spikes to debug the component of the life cycle of events (preinitialize, initialize, applicationComplete) managers, but none of them executed.

    It seems that swf is load correctly, but its lifecycle the component isn't triggering. I tried the following code.

    var loader: SWFLoader = new SWFLoader();

    loader.loadForCompatibility = true;

    loader.percentHeight = 100;

    loader.percentWidth = 100;

    loader.addEventListener (Event.COMPLETE, loadCompleteHandler);

    loader.addEventListener (IOErrorEvent.IO_ERROR, ioErrorHandler);

    Loader.Load ("ABC.swf");

    this.addChild (loader);

    Is it possible to do or isn't it possible at all to load Flex4 swf in Flex 3 application.

    Module rules are very strict.  All modules must be generated using the same SDK version as their charger.

  • issue of bar SWFAddress and load

    Using swfaddress successfully and love it.  For the first time that I'm trying to implement it on a site that has a load bar.  The question is if I use the back button on the browser, I'll finally get to a page that shows just the Gauge full and stops.  This is the page that I've marked "$/".  If I do not put this label on the first image, other worst problems occur.  Can anyone help with this?

    Add the 3 following trace() functions:

    Stop();

    trace ("A");

    this.loaderInfo.addEventListener (ProgressEvent.PROGRESS, onProgress);

    function onProgress(e:ProgressEvent):void

    {

    var loaded: number = e.target.bytesLoaded;

    var total: Number = e.target.bytesTotal;

    var pct:Number = loading/total;

    loader_mc. ScaleX = pct;

    loaded_txt. Text = 'loading... "+ (Math.round (pct * 100)) + '%';"
    trace (Loaded, total)
    {if(Loaded==total)}
    trace ('B')
    this.loaderInfo.removeEventListener (ProgressEvent.PROGRESS, onProgress);

    gotoAndPlay (2);
    }
