Omega cn616

Does anyone know if there is a driver written for Omega CN616 temperature controller?  I'm trying to integrate this feature into a LabView program for an ALD reactor.

You never have luck with a vi in Labview for the CN616?  I need to program the CN606... don't want to reinvent the wheel.

  • Delete the symbol OMEGA Pages

    Hey,.

How can I remove this symbol.

    Thank you

    Alen

Select the Omega symbol and press command + E. Then, following with command-F (find/replace). The Omega symbol will already be in the search text box and should show you a number found. Assuming that the number found is 1 and replace with the field empty, simply choose replace all, and the Omega symbol will be deleted. Tested with a background grey form with a symbol inserted Omega - Pages on OS X 10.11.3 v5.6.1.

  • OMEGA RD9900 to LABVIEW

    Hello

I've been programming Labview for awhile, but I have never implemeneted directly communicating with labview and the hardwell.

I have only changed/fixed or upgrade some screws that others have worked with.

Can someone guide me in the right way?

    I have an OMEGA RD9900 (http://www.omega.com/pptst/RD9900.html)

    It has about 12 channels.

but my application is enough for 6 channels to read 6 TCs.

Can you guys guide me why SIPC LABview would need to buy?

I also need to do perhaps technical resistance.

Can I somehow gather direct data RD9900 output and copy OMEGA for LABVIEW real-time?

the OMEGA RD9900 saves the data in the CSV file and I want to generate the same data on LABVIEW on a CSV file as well.

I can create graphs and others with him after.

Thank you very much for your help!

Then you should have said that in the first place.

Contact your local sales engineer and to provide certain details such as the number of channels, sampling frequency, the type of sensors, form factor, etc.

Once you have little material, you can write the samples in a file, just like the omega don't. The comparison method is up to you.

  • Omega CN8202 temperature control Labview (Serial Port, RS-232 Communication) Question

I'm a fidling perfect starting with Labview, as I just started with it today, so sorry if these questions are obvious.

I will work with an Omega CN8202 thermostat. As indicated in the title of the topic, one used uses serial communication and RS-232 Protocol.  However, the LabVIEW version is 2007, so I don't think that all the drivers here would work

Only, I want to be able to set a temperature on the CN8202 of a computer and no need to do something about the ramp or soak time. How could I change the drivers so that they would work in the 2007 version of LabVIEW?

There is no such thing as LabVIEW 2007. The current version is displayed when you launch or open the About window. If it is really longer than 8.0, then the version conversion Commission. Link is at the top of the page on the set of LabVIEW.

  • Omega TCP IP 66 error

    Good Friday afternoon!

I used the web interface for my OMEGA with Option Ethernet iNFB counter successfully. Now, I'm rehearsing the communication in Labview. The program appears to write the data very well but then does not receive a response back, or at least Windows is not patient enough to wait one because I get error 66 to try to read. I added a while loop to re-establish the connection when an error trying to read is reported. I still get no response from the unit. The format of the command is:

    * - selected character recognition (any character from ASCII table)

X - read measurement data in decimal format

    01. address of the first sensor (actually only)

    -carriage return

When this command via the interface 'internet', the device reacts with (for example): X0100076.0.

Fixed probe is a probe of RTD and playback of content in the response is correct: 76.0.

    The attached program your dissection.

    Thanks for your ideas...

    Solution:

The attached above code works fine (less the while loop) when the i-server is properly configured to accept connections. Apparently, when you use the Web interface, this parameter is ignored and regardless of access. To configure the iserver for access set the "number of connections" greater than 0, most often 1 should suffice. Once it's done VI standard TCP/IP communication as fasteners at the top works like a charm.

I hope I can save someone else some time...

  • Omega USB Temp

    Hi guys,.

So I just learned last week labview its really fun, now the question.

-J' use a Module USB-OM.-TEMp to take certain measures of the temperature. Omega has provided with some of Sub VI so that I don't have a code as well

-Write in Excel but has been giving me some trouble, I get an error a message "you have connected two terminals of two different types of termial" I tried to use the Bundle option nothing. I have attached my program below if anyone can help

    Thank you

    -Chris

    Chris,

I do not have the ULx screw, I can't be sure what's in those.

Many devices are not different tasks for the same type of measurement on a single device. You may need to combine the two temperature measurement in a single task to two channels. Something like Dev0 / Ti0:1.

I don't see any attempt to save to file. Create a data table and use scripture to the File.vi worksheet. This will create a tabs-delimited text file that can be read by Excel and many other programs and is very easy to use.

I don't see anythihg that defines the timetable of the loop. It seems that you use avoiding for the acquisition of data and have no waiting inside the loop. Elapsed time Time.vi measure time but does not have a delay.

  • I can't Omega PX4200 pressure transducers where I can get a reading of Labview

    Hello

I am a new user of LabVIEW, and I currently try to wire in a 4-20mA Omega PX4200 pressure sensor in an NI USB-6009 Data Acquisition device. I have sources of power like a P SOLA SDN 5-24-100, and I use a 3-wire system. I have the black wire going to SOLA a +, the ground wire to the GND on the NI USB-6009 case and the white wire going to the AI0. Currently, I am unable to generate a significant signal either in solution of measurement and Automation Explorer or LABVIEW Signal Express 2010.

If anyone has an idea on what I'm doing wrong, just reply to this topic.

    Thank you

    Dev

The USB-6009 measure the voltage.  The pressure transducer is a current signal.  You must add a kind of conditioning of signals.  At a minimum, you must use a resistor to the terminals so that you can convert the signal 4-20 mA, the transducer is a tension.  To convert a signal of 20 MA in 10V, you would need a 500 Ohm resistor.

  • Update of the segments of waveform by Omega 3000 for the acquisition of personal data

    Hi all

I'm having some trouble with segments of waveform of updationg through my acquisition of data personal omega 3000.

The goal is to generate a 1 Hz square wave, which updates of each cycle.

I wanted to avoid generating a new waveform of each cycle, I tried to update.

In the example given by omega, a waveform consisting of 5 segments is generated, and then the third segment (index 2) is updated.

I tried to rebuild so that a single segment is generated and then updated, but I failed miserably.

Configuration of the example VI in this way is not too.

In fact, I'm not even able to set the example VI to update other segments than the third.

I guess that 'Wavelet index' is the right point to set it, but if I put it to sth. other than 2 it just refreshes not anyting.

I can change the five segments of the curve and the update also, but I'm not able to update for nothing, but the second segement.

I hope it's just a simple value to change, but I can not find...

Does anyone have an idea what I might try?

Thank you very much in advance,

    Keksbold

PS: I have attached a file so you can see what is the problem:

5 segments: sine, square, triangle, tooth of saw and noise, and for some reason I'm not able to update everything, but the third segment...

    Problem solved!

I don't know why, but removing the status of wave DAQIO VI sub set.

I'd be really interested to know why the VI behaves like that anyway, so if anyone has an idea...

    (But is more vital )

    Thank you all!

  • Omega tranducer wiring

I got a pressure of omega with only three wires sensor: Red (power supply +); Black (power supply)-; and simple white. There the output voltages of 0 to 5.

The sensor needs a voltage between 9 and 30. So I used a NI 9263 to provide the power supply (9V) with the red and black wires.

I used a Ni 9205 read simple tension.

I have read the insturction Ni 9205 and I know there are three different modes: DIFF, NRSE and CSR.

But in these modes, it seems that I need another thread. Is this true?

I really don't understand. I have only a single thread. How would I make these connections? Can someone give an example for the CSR mode?

    Thank you!

Wire the black wire both 9263 and 9205 (no matter use you DIFF, CSR, NRSE). Make sure that 9263 can't drive enough current for the sensor.

  • Connection to a mass flow of the FVL-2612 of Omega controller

    Hello

I have an Omega FVL 2616 (0-500 SLM) mass flow control. I'm putting in place through LabView for most flow record. The manual for the unit account documentation to use HyperTerminal, that works.

I tried using the wizard Instument IO, but in vain. I have the connection established a RS232 connected to COM1 on the back of the PC. When I select this devicea and indicate the Wizard "read and analyse" it just times out.

I'm not the most savvy with LabView, but get a grip on the basics.

I'm looking to retrieve a scroll bar to control levels of flow and a feed for actual throughput that can be stored in a document.

    Baud: 19200

    parity: no

    Bit: 8

    stop: 1

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Concerning

    Edwards_NSG,

I suggest using the basic read and Write.vi series.  This can be found in the finder of the example.

If you want to use the wizard of I/O (I think that the example will be really easy) you don't have to send some sort of command to the device?  If so you have a writing stage in the wizard of e/s?

  • I / card reader Omega receives an error 'DitExp.exe has stopped working ".

After trying to install the driver, without success, for an I / Omega card on every start reader, I get a window saying "DitExp.exe has stopped working.  A problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly.  Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is found. »

Go to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx and download, install and run Autoruns and go to the tab all.  Check the list for an entry including DitExp.exe or your card reader.  Remove the box in front of the entrance, click OK and restart.  The message should appear is no longer.

If this does not work, try a boot minimum http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.  If the problem goes away then it's just a matter of tracking down the culprit at the origin of the problem.   Follow the procedures described in the article.  Once found, remove, delete, disable or uninstall.  Once remember to put Vista in normal status, as described in the procedures. If the problem occurs in clean mode then just restore the system to normal and reboot - this solution will not work.

Start in safe mode with network and see if the problem is here.  A result allows us to narrow down the search for the cause.

I hope this helps. Keep me posted.

    Good luck!
