Hello

When I plug the AC adapter / CC of the omni starts 5 beeps, then put paused and then again with the beeps. Power button blinking orange.

Can someone help me?

Thank you!

After a few intentions to open the back cover and finally made, begins to disconnect certain components (memory slot change, wireles adapter, HDD) and plug HQ, the beeps went and then into disconnected components and this is! the pc boots normally. :-)

Problem solved!

  • Tecra S1 does not start-> beep code appears

    Hello

I have a problem with my Toshiba Tecra S1.
It won't start, just beep like this:
    -Two shorts and a long
-So, three short films and and etc.

I can't find out what BIOS and the significance of these beeps.

    Can someone help me?
    Thank you
    Duditz

As far as I know, it's an Insyde BIOS on the Tecra S1.
But I thought you wanted to contact the Toshiba service provider?
Believe me, the BIOS beep code can be read by a technician with a lot more experience as a common user.
Eventually, you'll be able to read but you don t know what the code means.
The meaning of the code differs from BIOS and laptop model
I don t see other than by contacting the guys services

Initially my aspire m 3100 has refused to start (on button computer arrived, fans whirred) but no subsequent test POS and beeps appropriatete. Just a black screen. Removed the ram, removed the hard drive, on trial for POS. nothing. Replaced the system (same battery 3v). Now I have a black screen, with a constant beep.

    Anyone?

Tried many combinations of the above request - except this one. That was the magic combination. Didn't even have to reset the CMOS. Thank you! Now I can cancel the new graphics card just ordered in desperation.

  • dv2055 ea starts - beep code errors

    Hi all

I am writing to the following problem (and I'm desperate enough):

I have this laptop, which, in the last days sometimes not been started, giving rather beep errors. Today, it just does not start.

Now, the weird thing is that it gives a long beep and two short, while checking here I found only the references to (I assume) number of beeps.

So, I just spread this oddity and removed benches from memory and tried everything (Bank 1 in slot 1 and then slot 2; Bank 2 slot 1 and then into the slot 2: I've upgraded memory, but I did a year ago), but I've only got a change in the number of beeps: they became 4, shorter, and it seemed that they were from the internal PC speaker and not from the speaker "big media" (made I can try using headphones and check this box)

Worst thing is that I am now studying abroad: I can't send (I guess) my laptop using, and I must keep my HD.

So, no idea what's going on / what I need to do?
    Thank you very much

    You have a GPU issue.

Assuming that you are out of warranty and the desire for the workbook as soon as posible, I advise you to go to the component repair shop nearest.

The connection between the GPU chip and the motherboard must be reorganized.

If you have any EE skils you can repair yourseft, google for redesign or motherboard, you will find useful information.

  • Machine starts beeping and stops...

My friend just put a Corsair 850 watt power supply in his P6404y machine and tried to stock update the 9100 Nvidia graphics card to an Nvidia GTX 460 and the machine would be fine, however when he tried to play games the machine would beep and closed which is usually a symptom of a GPU overheat condition.  He then returned the GTX460 and upgraded to a PNY GTX 470 thinking his first card was a supplier without a name and the same problem occurs.   He then put a big fan next to his computer with the side and if the machine starts to beep it makes and may continue to operate, but I told him that option is not recommended.   There is nothing in the Bios to see what the parameters are for the monitoring of heat on a GPU and there is no newspaper generated indicating what the cause of the stop is.   We looked online for help and there is none available for mother Pegatron m2n78 - made by Asus for HP.   Is there a software that allows to monitor and change settings for the beaches of heat on a GPU, or y at - it another way to identify which monitors the machine for the heat so we can try to solve this problem.   The bios options are very limited and we are really stuck on this one.   Help, please!   Thank you

    Chuck

OK, we believe that we have solved the problem!   Even with the upgrade of the energy supply, the issue seems to be with the current Nvidia cards.   Under site Web CPUReview, they show the max of each graphics chip power draw.   Looks like the Nvidia GTX 460 drew 160 watts and the next card, we tried the Nvidia GTX 470 drew 170 watts maximum.    We tried and tried and failed to get the system working.    Now, a few months later, we were given another chance and used a card Geforce 9700 GS PCI-E and it works beautifully.   The card has not been fast enough, but he had only a maximum current of 82 watts.   Makes us think it was the fact that the GS 9700 uses DDR3 and recent Nvidia cards use DDR5, but after checking, we found that had nothing to do with the problem.   Then plunges us into the issue of tension and grabbed a new ATI Radeon HD 5450, who also ran fine and has a maximum circulation of power of 20 watts.   The map was underpowered for 3D graphics, so we then made a leap up to an ATI Radeon HD 6770 and again once it has worked very well to 108 watts.   Do not forget that we were back all our previous equipment, but we got a Thermaltake 500 watt power supply available, so we had already put in the machine that we thought that the stock of 300 watt power supply was a nameless, low power unit.   So far, he played several games at speed without any problems.   Our last thought is that the Pegatron m2n78 - the motherboard don't like prints of the power of the latest Nvidia cards.    I hope that helps you people!  Wooohoo! OK, it's game time!

  • Satellite X 200-20 s plus-pas display, will not start beeps!

One of the members of the forum seem to have this same problem a year ago so, using the same title, he has used before.

My Toshiba X 200 - 20s is not start. When I turn on the laptop, power LED lights up and the HDD LED flashes for a few seconds. DVD player turns briefly and DVD LED also flashes. I hear the fans running. The power LED comes on but nothing happens. No error MESSAGE emits a sound signal or messages on the screen. Satellite on the front logo does not light.

In the PC world for repairs, but the laptop is coming from their repair center said that they do not support this model.

Have tried all the basics like withdrawal map of power, battery and pressing the power for 30 seconds and turn on the laptop. Open memory and signs of disk HARD but no has not seen what either irrelevant.

Suspect that something might be wrong with the motherboard or BIOS chip. Don't want to not spend a fortune changing the card mother any suggestion welcome.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Indeed, it looks like a serious hardware problem.
Have you tried to connect an external monitor to check if its display problem?

In most cases if nothing is visible on 2nd screen, motherboard is affected.
Maybe the graphics card chip began to malfunction. Well, the fix would be costly, given that the new motherboard must be replaced.

    Hey @pkp0512,

Welcome to the forums of HP.

You made recent changes to your Tablet? Have you tried to install Windows 10 or run and updates of Windows at the time it started?

You should be able to access the Recovery Manager by turning on the Tablet by pressing the Volume down and the Power button at the same time. If the touch screen does not work to select the Recovery Manager we can confirm it's a hardware problem. If he leaves you, then you are looking to a software problem in Windows that a restoration of the system (accessible in the Recovery Manager) should take you around when he was work and restoration.

  • Satellite M35x: while the AC adapter is plugged in the battery start to unload and beep

    Hello

I'm having the same problem as this person here...
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=15116
My Toshiba Satellite M35x, when it is plugged in, just start discharge and beep.
He always did regularly, like every two months or more. But these days, the computer was unusable.

When it IS plugged in, it will start beeping and I'll see a screen like this:
    http://farm2.static.Flickr.com/1060/1191838676_86e9047a5a_o.jpg
Then, the computer will die and I can not restart for about an hour.
This happens when it is plugged!

The display shows even "generator, AC.
What is going on? I just can't get anything done.
It's a beep again and carry out again as I have this type.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

    Hello

I can't say that if the problem is truly software related, in this case, you're on your own. Then you should try the following:

All data backup and recover the machine to check if the problem appears after the relocation of the entire system.
But don t install something else except the recovery, it's the most important thing.

The other solution would be to contact a local servicepartner for a checkup of material. They will see if your machine has some serious hardware malfunction, so they exchange defective parts in case of hardware problems.

Here´s a link to find the service/service partner:

  • beep and flashes on start printer hp photosmart C4650

From start-up, my printer for ten years just starts beeping & flashing, approximately every 20 seconds and who can stop after a few minutes. Then, stop [usually] and moved to the screen [scan, copy & printing]. If I let on here, it passes through the commissioning of routine [reset ink cartridges, due to lack of correct wording] and I can print, copy, etc...  It goes through the routine of starting in the middle of the night, repeatedly until this that disabled.

Can someone help me solve this problem that is boring and tedious? Thanks for your time!

    Hi @Lilygal

In general, a printer will perform maintenance more frequently if the cartridge must be calibrated or lined up, perhaps alignment does not respect the continuous printer so the job.

I think that the best plan of attack is to use the following document and to treat the question as a matter of quality; The problems of quality of printing to the HP Photosmart C4600 and C4700 all-in-One Printer Series.

If persists it, you could turn off the printer before calling IT a night so make him stop his Midnight Madness, or upgrade to a newer model. If you call us, we can discuss trade in options to see what kind of discount we can offer.

If you are in the Canada, U.S. dial 800-474-6836 or you can Contact HP worldwide.

    I hope this helps.

  • Beep when starting and past in startup mode

Hello. I currently have problems associated with the startup mode. When I turn on my laptop, the laptop starts beeping loud and it automatically goes in boot by itself mode.  I, not having as much knowledge about the technology and do not know which of these options to choose from, I just pressed the Esc key and then my laptop automatically goes to the normal start screen and beeps constantly. I did no changes to my laptop and it's bugging me. BTW, my laptop is Lenovo G480 running on Windows 7. Is there a way I can disable this automatic start mode? Please help me.

The model of the beeps should help you diagnose the problem.  Sound signals are specific to the computer so when you find the boss go to Lenovo (or Google search of startup beep sense) and check the most likely cause
