• C5100 all-in-one install option missing

  I'm on Windows 8, 32 bits.

  If the printer has been buggy and I decided to uninstall and reinstall. As I uninstall I was also downloading the files. After that I reinstalled the c5100 all in one package on the site, I ran the installation. However, he said that I didn't have enough memory to complete the installation. He suggested to delete some files and then eject and close cd player. Well this option was not really there because it's a download online. I don't know what to do, so I restarted the computer. Apparently, it was a mistake.

  Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

  I see that you're stuck in a bit of a loop, the C5100 software must be installed, but it doesn't give you an option to do so. I would like to offer a suggestion;

  • Download the software from HP.com: HP Photosmart full feature and driver software.
  • Open the file and allow it to extract to the temp folder and close the installation program.
  • Open the temp folder and then open the most recent 7z folder.
  • Open Util then CCC.
  • Run the uninnstall L3, and restart the computer.
  • Use the Printer Wizard to download and install again.

  Let me know if it gets things install again.

  Not a feature in the form builder.  However, I'm sure as possible within some add JS custom of having the last option 'other' trigger a text box when selected.

  Unfortunately I do not have an example to provide but will leave this thread open for samples possible and solutions.

  1. I can't uncheck the checkbox "Install files for complex scripts and right-to-left languages" because the box is checked and grayed out. Could someone please suggest how to disable and uninstall the files?

  I experienced a few problems here which was virtually anonymous to your problem, I wasn't able to check it out instead of clear.
  Clear the check box, you must insert the CD of installation for the i386 file and then process. It could be solved.

  At the present time, I have an "Auto-hide" toolbar at the bottom of my desktop view, shows current apps so that I can switch between at will.

  With XP I also had, on the left of my desk, a second toolbar (or should I use a different term for this?) in which I wore the shortcuts for my most commonly used applications and files/folders - about 20 of them.   This feature was deprecated in Windows XP and abandoned entirely in Windows Vista. He remains missing in Windows 7. The new and more effective is to pin items to the taskbar. For example, if you need to access a folder, just drag it to the task bar where it will be pin inside the element of the Solution Explorer. Then you can right-click (or slide into place) the icon explore it any time you want instant access to this folder again. If you absolutely need a toolbar elsewhere, try RocketDock. It of free and can be skinned to work just like toolbars, of the former. (I really think you'll like jump lists and less cluttered screen, it gives you, but I have used Rocket Dock myself in the past and think you'll find that gives you what you are looking for).
